EVERYDAYJESUS’ Love Language! 2

Have you ever been in a situation where someone really said something that made your stomach churn and you just felt like giving them a piece of your mind? Well I have!

Also has someone whose opinion mattered a lot to you, ever criticize you so sorely and destructively that you just felt that you needed to let them know how much of their imperfections you have overlooked? Oh I sure have!

You know, I have had my own share of word poisoning in this little life of mine, and I have also given people that I love a lot, enough dosage to relish for a lifetime. I tell you, words can really hurt so badly, especially when those words were intended to put one down. Sometimes, they may not even be intended to hurt, yet they end up ripping hearts into twos.

On the other hand, words can really be so few yet you end up not forgetting them till you die, because you find out that these very few words were always there for you even when the person who said them, was no longer able to be there for you!

Do you know? I found out that most people who messed people up with their dirty mouths, most times, did not really mean to! They didn’t really mean to, honestly. I found out also that what most of them had in common was carelessness and ignorance. They were very careless with how they managed the link between their hearts and tongue; and they didn’t know what you needed to hear at the moment, because they were too blind to see you.

Sometimes, an angry word can be returned with a kind one, depending on how much you can see and hear beyond the words you thought that made you furnace furious!

Also, destructive condemnation can be returned with constructive affirmation, depending on how much you could slow down, listen carefully and process them well and neat!

Even embarrassing words can be returned with really kind ones, depending on how much good thing you can pick from the love left unsaid.

I believe that most times, people do not really say what they mean, and what they do not mean, so much, they really end up saying!

Please, do not say, ‘what do I care’, ‘I just take people by their words because I am not God’. I would only excuse you if especially you are not made by the same stuff as Abba Daddy.

“My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires”- James 1:19&20 ( NIV).

Therefore, I also urge us like Brother James to be ‘loving thing’-slow-to speak!

Why?

Because you need enough space to help you look part the words!

Because you need to pick the loads of things left unsaid!

Because you might also want to monitor the unsaid words of body language!

And finally, because you need to buy enough time to help you give formal touches to what you have to say; putting into considerations, what tone of voice, what lilt of voice, other custom body words, and of course your trade mark and signature talking style. Duh!

EverydayJesus Loves me ‘Pieces’!

“Unreserved; unrestrained

Your Love is wild, Your Love is wild for me.

It isn’t shy; it’s unashamed

Your love is proud, to be seen with me.

To be seen with me.

Cause you don’t give your heart in pieces [no no]

You don’t hide yourself to tease us.

Your love’s not fractured; it’s not a troubled mind

It isn’t anxious, it’s not the restless kind.

Your love’s not passive; it’s never disengaged

It’s always present, it hangs on every word you say.

Love keeps its promises

It keeps its word

Honors what’s sacred, cause its vows are good

Your love’s not broken, it’s not insecure

Your love’s not selfish, your love is pure”

-Excerpt from song ‘Pieces’; Bethel music and Steffany Gretzinger.

Ever since I heard these lines for the first time, my heart hasn’t stopped humming along every day because these words mean more than the world to me.

Ever imagined a man who loves a woman (in his mind) but is not sure if he wants everyone to see them together, for reasons best known to him?

Or what about loving a woman so heart broken and battered at heart, a woman who has had her own share of disappointment in the ‘loving thing’?

I don’t know what you think about being in love with a man who isn’t proud to be seen with you, or a woman who only has a broken heart for you to love; for me, I personally do not want any of those ‘loving kind of things’.

One thing is certain for sure, you cannot enjoy love overdose from any these ‘loving people’- I think that I am hearing myself sound like my own Sophie Dawodu right now, LOL! Just go and see that ‘Shedding Skin’ video on the Christapoet YouTube channel (her lines always have a way of getting into my own pieces, LOL!

I don’t know if you have ever had to resist the temptations of constantly checking on the object of your love or even going as far as deleting their numbers for a while from your phone so you’d stop ‘obsessing’ over them; sometimes it could even be more frustrating especially when you find that your fingers can retrieve the numbers from your head when you are trying to do something ‘meaningful’ with your phone. So, one way or the other, the person will get you, get you…..LOL!

Some other times you might have determined in your heart, to intentionally not pick up your phone at least after one call from them gets missed, so that you can get them to ‘want more of you’ aka miss you, and call you more than they already do- after all, that was what your favorite love doctor recommended for you and all your fellow loving-struck people!

You know, a big part of my mind call those ‘loving stunts’, manipulations! They are selfish because they revolve on one’s own self and not even the so called ‘Beloved’.

Ama tell you two stories now, I hope you are not getting bored already. It is Favouromeje writing, okay? And she hardly knows how to write short because her words are just too many, okay? LOL.

Story 1

Jack and Jill have a thing for each other. I think it is a ‘loving thing’, and I also believe that it is a really strong thing too!

Jill loves Jack’s attention, especially the way he stares at her. Jack is kind to everyone and very particularly tender to Jill. Jack is also yet to say a thing to Jill.

One day, Jill wakes up thinking about Jack and she feels that a call would be all she needed to start a great day. So, she picks up her Nokia device and starts scrolling for Jack’s phone number. Seeing his name on her phone screen, her heart begins to pound really fast. Did I tell you that his voice which was very much richly deeper than a baritone, startles her in a pretty nice way and that the very air of his presence was the oxygen that she wanted more? Hmm!

She almost touches the green button of her Nokia mobile phone before she thinks to herself:

‘No, I called him yesterday evening already, I know he likes me a lot but I shouldn’t be calling him yet again’.

I just have to make him miss me plenty, so that he’d love me more and more. You know, I don’t have to be too cheap and easy to him’, she says dropping her phone for her writing pad to make her day’s to-do list. She promises herself a new pair of chinos pants, should incase she succeeds in pulling out her ‘loving thing no-calling stunts’ after 4 straight weeks. In fact she wrote her ‘loving thing’ project goal on her writing pad and stamped her decision on her journal.

She decides to intentionally miss calls at least once every other time he calls, so that he’d not feel that she Jill was that into him Jack!

Story 2

‘Bae and Boo like no other’, have a big thing for each other. I think it is a loving thing too, and I also must confess that they are both on a very long fine thing. I have been watching them with my pair of binoculars lately!

Bae loves Boo’s attention, especially the way he gets carried away staring her in the eyes. Bae thinks that the gaze from his very pair of eyes were stronger than laser.

Boo on the other hand, is good to all of them brothers and sisters, but speaking of them sisters, Bae is to Boo, his white rose among thorns. She was just it to him. In fact, I have personally noticed it myself because I am his sister too. ‘Bae and Boo like no other’ are loving strong but Boo is yet to spell it to Bae, and I think Bae is waiting too! Bae doesn’t mind waiting-loving for a thousand years because she likes her ‘loving things ‘slow, steady, non-intense, and building up like a crescendo.

One day, Bae thinks of Boo and decides to give him a call; if not for anything, she loves the startling effect of his better-than-a rich-baritone’s ‘hello’ over the phone.

So, she picks up her phone. I think it is also a Nokia mobile device like Jill’s. She does not have to scroll for his number for too long because ‘shamefully’, it is the very last number she dialed the night before. Bae knows that Boo would always be her favorite person in the whole world, and she in fact admits to herself that he is her most basic obsession, at least lately. In fact, I can personally tell you that Bae could run her airtime shamelessly for more than 30 minutes calling ‘MAN’ and this man is Boo!

Bae almost touches her Nokia green button but she refrains and says to herself:

I am a basic and a major distraction to this man and I don’t think that this is very good for him. I need to do him a favor and let him to just be, so that he can at least have enough time to be useful to himself’

‘Besides, I know that I am who he needs but this can never be good for him, at least not for his ‘male-getting-happiness from-a good hunting’ mind’. This she says out loud, dropping her phone for her writing pad. She needs to make her to-do list which she couldn’t

write the night before as she ritually did.

You might want to count and compare the number of ‘I’ and ‘Me’ or ‘he’ and ‘him’ in Jill’s and Bae’s musings. You might find out who was ‘loving selfish’ and who actually was loving. Love can never revolve around the subject but the object and that is just Jesus loves.

I think that Bae is a little more like my Abba Daddy than Jill.

Abba Daddy is too love secure to manipulate me by teasing me with his presence. He doesn’t have to manipulate me with punishments or fear of hell in order to get me on His side. He loves so wild, so unreserved, so unrestrained and I know that He loves me pieces without any heart in pieces. He is not using His death on the cross to play any mind games on me like many people might want to think that he does. His ‘Loving thing’ is whole and complete, actively loving me and engaged daily with His commitment to me, His commitment to come back for me.

It is the knowledge of my ‘Crazy in love-with me- Father’ that gives me the boldness to pour my love on anybody I want to, even if he has to be ‘MAN’ because I know that my Abba Daddy’s love has made me too invincible to be insecure and broken!

EverydayJesus hangs out with the Father!

A friend said and I quote, “to be much for God we have to be much with Him”.

Going through a piece recently, I realized something, that as much as we want to study books that expound the word of God, we might never have faith to do mighty things if we neglect to hang out with the ‘One’ who is the Word. The Spirit and Life.

Jesus Christ said, the words that I speak to you they are spirit and they are life. He was talking about himself. The words Jesus spoke as man were no different from the words God speak as God, in efficacy and power, reason being that the same power was at work in them.

And now Jesus had a habit of hanging out with the Father. Bible tells us he would go out of his way to climb a hill just so he could be alone with God. Little wonder then, that he had confidence enough in the power of his Father at work in him. He would say to the dead, rise, and he would say to the lame, walk.

So, spending time talking with God is key to doing much in his name, because of course, you’ll be conscious of his power enough to do his works. Cut a long story short, studying the Word, gets you to know what’s been given freely and gets you conscious of the power that has been made available for you to walk in all that’s been given. Hanging out with God gives you an opportunity to thank God immensely for all He’s given.

EverydayJesus does good!

Acts 10 verse 38 says, and you no doubt know that Jesus of Nazareth was appointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with power, and he went around doing good and healing all who were possessed by demons, for God was with him.

I read the above scripture this morning, and I realized something that I consider profound. All of us who are believers, meet the implied conditions for DOING GOOD AND HEALING ALL WHO ARE POSSESSED BY DEMONS. We have the Holy Ghost and power, because God is with us. That was all Jesus needed to do good, including heal. That is all we need. Let’s start already. How? Believe and speak, believing. There really is nothing else to do. Speak, believing. That’s what the word teaches. And whether or not our intended good, works out according to our mind’s design, all the glory goes to God. You’re just expressing a life, you see. That life is Christ, the same life that has been given to you.

So step out of your shell today. Wherever you see that good needs to be done, do the good. Speak life to situations. Speak Christ. That’s the least you can do. Sometimes, maybe, the most.

EVERYDAYJESUS is our Curriculum

If I Give Tochi a bag of Gold and put scorpions inside,

So that when she puts her hand inside the bag the scorpion bites her, then on her death bed ‘I had staged to meet Courage in a burning bush’ then Courage tells Tochi I can save her and she brings me and I heal Tochi, and she gives me praise.

Later, they got to find out I was the one who put the scorpion in the first place, would that make me a good person??

NO!!

Don’t be afraid to ask ‘God-questions’ on scriptures that contradict what you have come to know about God and get a thinking CAP, I have one and I use it.

You have to know God from Jesus,

It is so so so so so IMPORTANT in understanding and interpreting scriptures.

If you don’t look from Jesus, you are sure to miss it.

And also, these questions help you understand that some words used in verses of scriptures actually teach something entirely different and we lose focus because of what our minds have been programmed to.

I always emphasize reading in context.

2days, ago in a discussion with someone I told her she would not make heaven, who am I?? Jesus’ gate man??

But it was in an argument to show her what she was doing to herself.

If you take that word out of the context and say that I said that someone will not make heaven.

You would be lying against me, but you would also have ‘scriptural backing’ for it.

Since birth, you have learnt the use of English, then you got better and more skillful with it.

Yet we don’t try to put half as much effort in studying scriptures that much.

Its in Reading that it becomes clear and established in your heart,

Teaching might open your eyes a bit, but when faced with a person who has also been taught wrongly, you ll realize that checking it and establishing it from scriptures would have done you a lot of good.

I have a disciple who is very zealous, when I teach her, she goes out and mention it, then sometimes she gets hacked and return with disappointment, I give her answers to those ‘hackings’, why??? Because what I taught her is just a tip of what I have studied on that topic.

NOBODY can teach u everything they know. But you can know everything your teacher knows, by reading what He reads

If you have seen me handle scriptures and you admire it,

Let me tell you the things I used in order of priority

*the King james Bible

*an APP with 27 different Translations

rarely *Greek concordance to check root words (but when I do this I come back to establish it in the scripture)

I have found root words that confuse more self,

So I stay safe in scriptures and scriptures alone.

I have also read books of people that bless me deeply

Kenneth Erwin Hagin is one of them

I love him so much that there is hardly a book of his on print that I don’t have

I go hungry and trek just to get his books at times

BUT, I hack him always with scriptures.

I have seen him misinterpret a verse in the bible.

And he himself has admitted to doing so before, he repented (sincerity)

So it comes back to one book

THE BIBLE.

Read it, read it and keep reading.

Let me say something I don’t usually say because its nobody’s business

I HAVE NEVER GONE THROUGH THE WHOLE BIBLE ONCE.

It means I haven’t read the whole bible before

I know people that do it at least once every year, he is my friend, and I teach him.

When I pick the bible to read, I read it.

I have been on Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians and the book of John 7-11 for days now

I found them particularly interesting

Paul spoke well of Christ’s coming to the Thessalonians

And then many things in John 7-11 is not recorded in other gospels.

So I get curious,

WHY???

These things don’t come from doing morning devotion and running off.

I don’t like being hacked in scriptures, it is important that I know about this eternal life I have gotten

And before you brush it off as ‘Their thing’

I got saved in 2010 and got to know about God’s grace barely a year ago, August last year to be precise

So it hasn’t been a year yet

How much growth you can see in a little time depends on time given to scriptures

If it is the morning devotion, don’t make it a routine, learn something,

Tackle questions that come up

Don’t brush them off

This life we have been called to is important

Just pray for understanding,

Pray and study, then pray again

Ask questions, keep at it

Paul gave Timothy a recommendation that I want to have someday

2Tim 3 NLT

14But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you. 15You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.

From Childhood, Timothy have known and has been taught scriptures.

Please do same

You grow.

Take a ‘knowing God’ habit to scriptures

So when you are knowing a person, you can be sure what he can do and what he can’t do. If you find him exhibit two directly contrasting characters and you leave it

You have not known Him. Or let me say you have not come to take knowing Him serious.

For a believer, you find answers to life’s troubling questions from scriptures

You know things to believe and things to cast out @ first glance from scriptures

Hear what Paul told the Thessalonians

2Thess 2 NLT

1Now, dear brothers and sisters, let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet him. 2Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us. 3Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed-the one who brings destruction.

4 He will exalts himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.

Focus on verse 2

……. 2Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us.

Even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision.

But that is all the church knows about the second coming;

Visions of earring and trouser, and short skirts and tattoos

….and trumpet almost blown and Jesus shows His hands and God gives us time

Did the world get better after that?? NO

It grew worse

CHURCH THINK.

Hear Paul’s admonition to Timothy

I would show you this, and then show you how Paul did full time ministry

I don’t know why am saying all this but I think young ministers are here, take care on how you run…… Let’s hear what Paul told timothy

2Tim 3 NLT

1You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God.

It goes on…..

5They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

6They are the kind who work their way into people’s homes and win the confidence of vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by various desires. 7(Such women are forever following new teachings, but they are never able to understand the truth.)

It gets interesting…..

8These teachers oppose the truth just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses. They have depraved minds and a counterfeit faith.

9But they won’t get away with this for long. Someday everyone will recognize what fools they are, just as with Jannes and Jambres.

Then the admonishing

10But you, Timothy, certainly know what I teach, and how I live, and what my purpose in life is. You know my faith, my patience, my love, and my endurance. 11You know how much persecution and suffering I have endured. You know all about how I was persecuted in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra but the Lord rescued me from all of it. 12Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

13But evil people and impostors will flourish. They will deceive others and will themselves be deceived.

Now see Paul’s ministry

1Thes 2 NLT

1You yourselves know, dear brothers and sisters, that our visit to you was not a failure. 2You know how badly we had been treated at Philippi just before we came to you and how much we suffered there. Yet our God gave us the courage to declare his Good News to you boldly, in spite of great opposition.

3So you can see we were not preaching with any deceit or impure motives or trickery.

4For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.

See how they showed themselves as men approved of God:

5 Never once did we try to win you with flattery, as you well know. And God is our witness that we were not pretending to be your friends just to get your money!

6 As for human praise, we have never sought it from you or anyone else.

7 As apostles of Christ we certainly had a right to make some demands of you, but instead we were like children among you. Or we were like a mother feeding and caring for her own children.

8 We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.

……Examples worth emulating, it goes on

9 Don’t you remember, dear brothers and sisters, how hard we worked among you? Night and day we toiled to earn a living so that we would not be a burden to any of you as we preached God’s Good News to you. 10 You yourselves are our witnesses and so is God that we were devout and honest and faultless toward all of you believers. 11And you know that we treated each of you as a father treats his own children.

In your ministry, the choice to put God first or your belly first is yours.

Its not in the message with mouth, it is in the doing.

It is not out of place for the minister to also be the one giving people money seeing that they don’t have.

I say this now and I imagine

It is not out of place for Cedars to be the one giving honorarium when they are invited by a people who don’t have much.

Work and have money to do your ministry with…

Let me stop talking,

Stay in Grace.

EVERYDAYJESUS’ ‘Learn’!

Being surrounded by an armada of advisers could be tiring that at some points, you feel like driving your life as you please.

You just want to tell them that you are no more their little boy or girl that you could do things right without them forgetting that Proverbs 11:14 suggested that multitudes of counsel is safety while, like the fool in Proverbs 12:15, we follow our own inclinations.

Plunging deeper into the wrong water and plying the wrong route, claiming ‘over men’, we still fall under the ropes that we should have walked on.

Yet we know not how to help ourselves.

We see how unfledged we are so we lift our voice like the author of Lamentations 5:21, asking them to come to our aid but the funny story is that they have tagged us the People of Jeremiah 7:26-28. And are demanding that we do according to Jeremiah7:29, yet the parable of hair cutting still remain unfathomable.

That was our lot for he that is stiff necked will be suddenly destroyed but thank God for Jesus whose Mercy endureth forever and we were not consumed.

EVERYDAYJESUS is our Rap Sheet!

Evening

Didn’t really mean to write me another song,

Remember those days when I clogged my lungs,

Now am good with people, I’m the charming one.

You don’t have to count, I’m number one.

Sometimes I wonder about my drive,

Cars ain’t an issue but we need the miles.

Don’t want to end up just folding files,

Only to come home and pray for size.

My mind’s on that product, no time to prize.

Quchi is the name, but love is the game,

There is always going to be room for names,

That is better than gold, especially for the pikin;

Opportunities will call them, they will be picky.

God be their noses, they will always pick him.

He will color their scent, they will breath in him.

Quchi is the name, and I want the fame,

You may call me proud, I call you insane.

Welcome to the trip, this is my relay,

Yes, I got lust but I know The Way.

Never let society be the measure of me,

You have to excuse me, God died for me.

The devil is dead to me, Check on wiki;

I still pray for all those in his shoes

He’s so not an issue.

When you check please,

Sign here, if you can answer,

‘WHO DEVIL EPP?!’

But my Jesus is precious, victorious and yes Boss, He’s God once and always.

There is just no comparison,

There is just no comparison.

Mohamed is dead but Jesus is still risen,

Higher than Angels, no teasing.

No advertising, just one meeting

Dear Future Husband! 3

                                                                                                              January 2, 2017.

Dear Future Husband,

The last time I wrote you, I really didn’t want to keep you so ‘penstruck’ for too long, so I decided to write you something short then. I really want to make that particular letter complete, like right now. Uhm, I really wanted you to know just how much of ‘me’ that I owe to you, somehow.

I want you to know that whenever you look at me, or think of me, and say to yourself that I am beautiful, then you need to really take out a little moment of that time to appreciate yourself because, I am simply ‘the beautiful’ that you made.

Listen, Father refines me daily because of you. I let Father prune the garden of me because I know that you are there to eat of my fruit. The truth is that, I really do not need any man to survive but I know that I really cannot thrive as ‘me’ if you hadn’t been created and born. Oh, thank God, Father didn’t miss out on any details of His Genesis creation plan!

So, if you ever think I am beautiful, please then remember your birthdays, and take them very seriously! And if you ever think that you want to celebrate ‘the beautiful’ in me, then maybe you should start thinking of celebrating your birthdays!

For it was on the day that you were born that ‘the beautiful’ of me took form. Every single breath that you’ve taken on earth, every single mistake that you ever made in life, and every single trophy that you have ever won, has thus far made the ‘the beautiful’ of ‘me’, hidden right in you.

God had always known you from the beginning of the world, He formed your heart before the world began, and He knew your beautiful end in Him, even before you learned your own name. The totality of who you are, and all that you’d ever be, forms and refines me every day.

So, if you really think that you appreciate me now, then you just take out some time to be happy about ‘YOU’!

When you find me, take me, and publicly make me yours, then I would be the most beautiful woman that there ever would be, because already, the fragrance of you from afar, and every tiny bits and pieces of you has thus far, made me ‘the beautiful’ that the world can now see!

If you think you love me, love yourself even more because all the loving thing in me, took form in you!

In fact, never for one day, forget that I am the mirror reflection of the Glory of the only True God that you are so wrapped in, oh my Lord!

The LORD has created and made you Royalty, and when you hand-picked me by the outstretching of our holy scepter, I was crowned a queen of the very same order as Esther! And like Esther, I bask and thrive on the fear of the very air of your presence, oh Royalty, so divine!

I love to find my dwelling place in your shadow, your own very shadow is the safest haven on earth for me. You know, I am so secure in my heart for you just like Esther because I was made, ‘the Right One’, who the way to your heart knows, much more than Esther by the eunuch, knew the King Xerxes.

So, I prefer to stand back and watch to my thrill, all the fair ladies them, take their turns to show off their wares before you, my King! For I know that I was created and born your queen before the world took its shape, and not a woman displaying some goods. And of course, you know that all queens come last in the grandeur of the most euphoric procession. I could never fight to have you because I was made so that you’d have me.

Therefore, do not try so hard my King, to win me just as I am so secure in your Love for me!

Your own very,

Woman.

P.S. Please do visit this place very often because my ‘pen is always bleeding in a worshiping love’ for YOU!
