Hmmmm, life is funny.it has a way of making fun of one and making a person of strong will fill foolish. When life laughs, it tries to laugh out as loud as possible, that one begins to question HIS father in heaven. This type of laughter could bring great shame that goes straight for your heart and that moment we break.
This laughter is worse than human laughter, because it seems you are living but you don’t feel alive, the world outside is turning and yours is dying still. Things seem not to move and even when you take a step forward; it seems you just took ten backward. You cry out, pray out, praise out and it is still, still.
Ps 23 v 2b said….. He leads me beside the still waters. When everything seems still, then be STILL. Because God just said in the above scripture that He will lead you beside whatever is still in your life, yes, He knows it is still. Who else do you think can see you through? Who do you think can bring hope to you even when you think you are far in your still zone.
Mark 4 vs. 39 said……He awoke and rebuked the wind and said Peace BE STILL and the wind ceased, and there was great calm. Things are STILL with God for a reason, is not that the wind was not good, No, but it was not needed at that point in time, to show itself of. As hard as it may be or seem, WE need to be STILL like the wind so that the Name of God be glorified in our life.
sometimes things may happen and we say it is not God, so we look for alternative ways of getting what we want, but God is coming in straight for your heart and all He needs is you to BE STILL and know that HE is God, He would bring light to the darkest part to your life and everything would change…..just know you are not too FAR from HIM.
I guess what has been going on since I started writing could be to remind you and me that the night can’t last for long, so lift up your eyes, look beyond the clouds of life that laughs at you. You are going to make it. If your heart is breaking, because there is a promise to those that hold on even when you can’t imagine a way out. BE STILL………Ps 46 vs 10a………..BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.

The Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth
To as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name— Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]
Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.
God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame,deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice], So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit [our lives governed not by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit].
For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.
Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].
[That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot.
If then you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth. For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory.
I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
The Reply
I’m not trying to prove anything… Am doing my Father’s work… And am not doing it in my own strength, which is infinitesimal at most compared to him in me, but I am simply renewing my mind in the Word.
There’s reconciliation to be done, gospel to be preached, I’m simply renewing my mind so I don’t live out the hypocritical religion that is the trend of our age and, worse still, make disciples in this order.
I speak things that are simply truth, with proof in the Bible. Whether you aimed at being liked or not does not always affect whether you are liked or not.
This is my message; Christ came to reveal the will of Our God to us, and to redeem us from the enemy. He was resurrected to show that I will be resurrected, and the implications of my faith in him is that I have received life in abundance.
I no longer live, but the Life springs out of me, but if I don’t renew my mind, I will be a hindrance to God’s grace and although I am saved and will make it to heaven, I will not have partaken in the work wherein I am a co-labourer with God.
I am a Spirit. I am a God. I and my Father are one. I am the Temple of God. This is truth and the proof is my love, not for the world and its transience, but for God’s children and those who God is also working to save.
‘Spirit lead me’ is synonymous with ‘Father lead me’… Or ‘Jesus lead me’;
‘Theology’ is just a nominal designation ascribed to an endeavor to know God… I know my God… I am only getting to know more about what He has made in me, given me and said to me. I redefine EVERYTHING by HIS standards.
Like you said- this is my Heritage. You are only wrong about me needing to pray about it.
John 3 says nothing about praying.
Roman 8 says nothing about praying.
Colossians 3 says nothing about praying.
I am not afraid to fall into the hands of the Almighty.
Only those whose unbelief blinds them from accepting the gift of life through Christ should be afraid of that. And that’s what Paul was referring to when he said that in Hebrews.
I believe God… His righteousness has been inputted on my account.

AN EXHORTATION (Enonche Kennedy)
Many christians don’t have a faith of their own. They do things because that’s how it’s done in their church or because their pastor said so and this is their basis for judging what is right or wrong. So to them whatever is different from doctrine as they know it in their church is wrong. If you don’t have a reason why you do something then the truth is you are just following people. I heard this from pastor Chris Segun Onayinka: “If you have not found something you can die for then you have not really started living.” He said ” find a cause worth dying for and live for it”.
You can never be a true follower if you are not convinced of the leader’s vision and cause. In christianity there is one leader called Lord. Bible calls him the head i.e source.Eph 1:22. We are his body i.e his people, his church, greek- ecclesia- called out ones. This is what he talked about in Matt 16:18. His church, his doctrine. When it comes to his doctrines, it never changes, no review. See Heb 13:8-10
Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. ” 13:9 “Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.”
“Be not carried about” means don’t be easily swayed, infact, don’t be swayed at all. What is “divers and strange doctrines”? It is anything that is different from grace. It is a good thing that the heart be established on grace. Grace is the doctrine. Don’t expect it to change because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever- he never changes.
That is why we teach grace and nothing else. “It is a good thing for the heart to be established…” A good understanding of grace will give you a strong, effective Christianity.
You should be grounded in issues of doctrines. You should be able to answer certain pertinent questions. Examples of such questions will be;
— Can a christian be saved without being baptized in water?
— Did Jesus leave a commandment to eat the communion?
— Is a christian supposed to pay tithe?
— Is the tithe payer allowed to eat the tithe for any reason?
You’ll do yourself some good to start studying God’s word and becoming established on grace so that you stop getting carried about with diverse and strange doctrine. So that you stop being a child. A baby christian is one who is not sure of what he/she believes. Ephesians 4:14 “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”
Let us go on to perfection(maturity) Heb 6:1. Let’s not remain babes. Hebrews 5:
5:12 “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.”
5:13 “For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.”
5:14 “But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

ANNIVERSARY
It always starts up as just a dream, most times it would be fought by every aspect of “why we cannot do it”
Our fears, our inadequacies, our time would wear gloves and enter the same ring with our dreams.
What keeps us going is not our strength, it is the dream giver Himself.
I want to thank God Almighty for giving this dream, and keeping it too.
I want to thank Him for the lives of those that have been blessed on this platform, and for the men and women who He has used to keep the dream alive.

Write, The Vision.
One of the simplest errors that occur in ministry is when the vision is forgotten. The minister gets so engrossed in running he soon forgets why he began the race in the first place. I have fallen prey to this far too many times and I have come to learn and appreciate the scripture in Habakkuk that says “Write the vision”. Sincerely I have the vision of this team written in so many places, marked on my bible and all that. Such that when I start loosing drive or focus I go back to what God said at first and its been awesome. I’m saying this so you can ask yourself “what got me here in the first place?” When you’ve got it figured out, write it down. Visit it frequently. You’d be glad you did.
Now, the Christ A Poet Team was founded basically on a need to make this gospel of Christ known through the unique gift of literature. The gift of writing. One of the things God has clearly laid in my heart concerning this team is to raise Christ-a-poet(s). At the time I got the name I had foggy understanding why but down the road God made it clear He wants to build us into writers that are Christs(saviours) in this world. God is building an army of writing Christs in us and you and I can testify He has surely been teaching and grooming us ever since we joined this beautiful team. See that’s one reason amongst why God chose the name team for us. He wanted us to train together like team would, grow together, complement each other such that when it is game time we become a formidable force. We train to win. We grow to go out and teach. That brings me to what God showed me in Ezra.
You see…Scribes, They at different times occupied different positions such as secretaries of state, study of the law, multiplication of copies of the law, teaching of the law, documenting prophecies, transcribe the law, at a point the scribes wielded more power than the priests. In Ezra’s day he was described as “a ready scribe” Ezra 7:6 I came to understand that to mean Ezra was skilled at what he did but what dintinguished him to be was what vs 10 said “For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgements”. The Lord stopped me here and made it clear, as a team this is what we’re called to do. Who we are called to. We are first to seek Gods word, then do it and then teach it. No part of this process ought to suffer neglect. You see later down the road especially during Jesus’ day the scribes missed it somewhere but that doesn’t mean God is no more interested in this office. You see that’s why He put a pen in your hands, that’s why those scriptures are opened up to you more than others see it, that’s why you can sit from afar and observe life as we know it, that’s why you can put words together into a most compelling message even with no formal training in the art, it is why you’re in this team today. God wants to speak in your heart knowing fully well you’ll write it down. He wants to be with you He wants to build you He wants to send you but not on your own He will most definitely go with you. That’s it!

God called you and I to be his scribes, his secretaries of state, his pen, a ready pen.

What excites me even more is eyes have not seen, ears have not heard neither has it entered into the imagination of man what God has planned to do with us.
