Bottled Thoughts (UC Truth)

I love coca cola products

Ranging from the pretty orange fanta
To the black gaseous coke
and then the sweet watery sprite

Unique in their own distinct taste
Though from the same company,
Even if carried in the same crate
They still wouldn’t mix,
At least not by Osmosis

You would need an opener to unravel the mystery of each sip
You will need to tilt at an angle while you allow the contents fill you up
I know you wonder where I’m headed with all of this

Well I love humans
Each a unique product with their own distinct taste
Though from the same maker
Even if they are from the same family
They still wouldn’t lose themselves,
At least that’s how it should be.

We are quick to blame an external force for making us spew venom
But we fail to realize that we only release what’s been long brewed and screwed tight in us
How screwed up we are: beyond the packaging we use to deliver our, some times, wack contents; gets revealed when we are tilted at an uncomfortable angle

So keep every bitterness in,
Allow anger boil,
Let revenge be preserved to be served at -4 degrees C
These ingredients becoming the you we see

We are all unique in our taste
But we can all be different shades of sweetness
And in the factory of our minds we work on all bad nutrients
For only then, would we, like coca cola
Deliver awesome products, and not the hate we have long had bottled up.

Everyday Jesus Wants Us to Consider Real Issues

Not too recently, a lot of Christians were arguing about a certain gospel artiste who collaborated with a secular artiste. I was carried away and joined the argument.

After some reflection, I realized that things like this are distractions for Christians. We forget the real issues and put all our hearts and minds in trivial matters.

We need to give our all to what is most important.

I’m referring to one of the last words of Jesus before He left this earth. Matt 28:19-20.

Making disciples of all men by preaching the gospel to all. This is our primary assignment as Christians. There’s no unity among Christians these days. We are one in Christ. We engage in unnecessary arguments about things that don’t matter. What unbeliever would want to get caught up in all that? Let’s try as much as possible to avoid these things and face the real issues!

Dominion… Everyday Jesus

Dominion physically speaking means equilibrium; and by equilibrium, forces must be involved. According to Genesis 5: 1&2, the NIV Bible says: this is the written account of Adam’s line. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female and blessed them. And when they were created, he called them “man” ( ie adam in Hebrew).

Dominion is when man ( male and female joined together), face the lion, soar like the eagle, rule the ox and plants his feet on the serpent. This is dominion.

Can two work together unless they agree? The thug of war between male and female must cease so that “man” might have dominion. The male must cease to be dominating and the female must not be controlling.

Everyday Jesus: what is Dominions

The Hebrew word for dominion radar means subduing, ruling. Circumstances in life tend to subdue us instead of the other way around. We forget who we are, what we have, what we are made for and roll with the tides.

Fear and anxiety are meant to be subdued and ruled. Most often than not,we let circumstances determine who we are and how much we exhibit our God given authority.

Fear and anxiety are mere faceless faces that pop up while trying to achieve, acquire and fulfil one’s dreams.

We have all it takes to overcome them,to rule and subdue them.

Know that we are more than  conquerors and that we can do all things through Christ that strengthens u .

Everyday Jesus with Lion(An Interview)

Hey! Pleased to meet you, I’m Panthera Leo.

You’re perplexed I see, but please I beg you; do not look on me with a stranger’s eyes for though physically we have obvious disparities, we share some attributes.
I’ll tell you about me.
One, I have an unmistakable presence of nobility. It is not masked and I saw you noticed when you entered the park. I command respect even in my calmest state. I do not need to announce myself, my nature announces itself. Others think that I am feared because I am a ‘predator’ (I like to think of myself as just a gentle guy that hustles for his food…whatever food that is), but I know that isn’t true; I’m Leo because of my nature and I don’t have to put up some ‘act’.

I tripped over there and fell. Other folks fled. It would have been suicidal for them to stay around and glee and this is because I don’t stay down too long. My ‘mess ups’ do not excite my enemies much…they believe it’s part of the plan…”C’mon it’s Leo involved!” They say.
Two, there is this unruffleness and kingly calmness about me that is totally incomprehensible to the other folks.

I thrive in danger not because I do not face what the others face. My nature is positively projected in the gravest danger and I’m committed not to miss my opportunities.

I do not talk or walk in anxiety. I’m in the spotlight and I won’t ever walk out of harmony with who I am.

When faced with challenges, I just remember who I am and I let the world know it.
Finally, I envy you because You’re all these and more! The gap between us reaches to the heavens!

But I seem to be doing better. This is because I ALWAYS keep who I am in mind. You’re ALWAYS off and on but I’ve been committed to remembering who I am.

Borrow this leaf from me.

Hi again, I’m Panthera Leo but you can call me LION.

Everyday Jesus Gives us Choices

CHOICES

With birth, the start to all life, all things

We, from a biparental picture

Made in God’s image and with man’s nature

We inherit their genes and their sins
The lamb becomes a sheep, the cub a lion

Growth is sure, maturity may come

But we always have His grace to rely on

Our lives under watch: for time will tell

Like quarantine in an epidemic

The virus is sin; Satan the vector

The cure is salvation; Christ, the doctor
The green of fresh plants

The pale as petals wither

Sweet melodies of chirping birds

Painful maladies from poison dreads

Stillness and tranquil of soothing eves

Unrest and discord which a panic gives

Two sides to every coin, our choices comprehend

Everlasting life or death in the end

WHAT IS THE CHURCH?

Sunday service sin…

Mid-week service not sin…
Chatting in church sin (even if I’m preaching to someone)

Watching TV in church not sin (if we are watching Passion of the Christ)
Do not play in church

We are here for business

Unless it’s Drama Unit

Or choir leader singing ‘I feel like jumping’„
Then we say, let’s worship the Lord

Concentrate

Focus your mind

Let your heart be placed on Him

…All these so that we can give a ‘worthy worship’

How do we judge its worth??
Back to the point; What is ‘church’?
Paul said this in Colossians 1:18 ( NLT)
“Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead.”

So he is first in everything
Body of Christ=Church.
You have to say that so much to yourself until it sticks to every part of you.
Coming together as believers is for our own good, but we are ‘church’ as we are!
In Paul’s journey as he went from place to place preaching, from prisons to beating, how many Sunday services did he attend? Get your mind established on Grace.
So why then do we gather?
Ephesians 4 NLT

Verse 11:  Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.
Where you see church, put HIS BODY.

Now, the scripture above explains why the gifts were given.
Verse 12: Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.
Building up the body is not building big buildings and good instruments if you carefully look at the above scripture.
When you catch the people in that gathering outside and ask them questions about their faith, what would their answer be?
How equipped are the people??
The strength of a church (denomination) is not in amount of people, or equipment, but in how equipped the individual members are.
Verse 13: This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
That is what the church should cause ‘UNITY IN FAITH’ and not difference in doctrines!
And it says there ‘measuring up to the full standard of Christ’

How do we measure up??
Verse 14: Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.
Verse 15:  Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.

Speak the truth in Love, not tossed by every wind of doctrine and acclaimed rhema.
Let’s just stay one place and put our hearts to learning.
This is what a church (denomination) should be set to achieve.
Now,

Is your church achieving that? Or are we still playing Sunday?

Where believers who have been saved 20years still wait for visitation and pampering from pastor and then no one can even explain how God is ‘Trinity’ yet we go to church on Sunday and ‘not ping’?
At times, I tend to keep quiet because I don’t know how else to tell a catholic that Mary is just a disciple and that she isn’t a virgin. How can someone give birth and be a virgin? ‘Blessed virgin Mary’.
They always get angry.

It’s okay.
I would weigh between my Love in helping people see the truth with my love in not offending them and then decide how exactly I can walk in love.
Colossians 1:27 (NLT)

Verse 27: For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.
Our Focus is that Christ in you is the HOPE of Glory as KJV renders it.
Anything that is received in ‘HOPE’ speaks of a glory that is to come and is not yet. In Ephesians Paul used the same words;
Ephesians 1 (NLT)

Verse 13:  And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.
Verse 14: The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.
The Spirit is a Guarantee of a PROMISE.
Also in Romans 8, clearly written

(NLT)
18 Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.
19 For all creation are waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.

20 Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, 21 the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.

22 For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

23 And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us. 24 We were given this hope when we were saved.

25 (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it but if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)

So in these places, Paul spoke of a future Glory that is a sure inheritance for those who have CHRIST IN THEM (believers that have received the Spirit)

How do we have Christ in us?

The Holy Spirit of Christ
Romans 8 answers

(NLT)
9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. AND REMEMBER THAT THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST LIVING IN THEM DO NOT BELONG TO HIM AT ALL.)

10 AND CHRIST LIVES WITHIN YOU, SO EVEN THOUGH YOUR BODY WILL DIE BECAUSE OF SIN, THE SPIRIT GIVES YOU LIFE BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN MADE RIGHT WITH GOD.
Notice the last part of verse 9

“And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.”
So the bible teaches that if one has believed in Christ, they have received the Spirit and they are SURE to partake of a Glory in the future.

Now Paul spoke of that Glory in his second letter to the Corinthians chapter 5
And that is where he makes the statement that we live by FAITH and not by SIGHT.

We have faith that God is able to raise us together with Christ, read through.
(NLT)

1 For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands.

2 We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing.

3 For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies.

4 While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life.

5 God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit.

6 So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord.

7 For we live by believing and not by seeing.
I have Christ in me

I have an assured inheritance

I taste of His Glory now

I would have an incorruptible inheritance in the future
Thank God for Jesus

Stay blessed.

AGAINST ALL ODDS

Since the days I learned to write my ABC’s I have always known that E effortlessly came before the Gs and Hs and with eyes like mocking jays’ ears I watched as this routine set to educate with Greek elements taught me that the Es Extraordinary will always exceed the N’s Normal that the best B-E-S-T only referred to people who constantly applied Basic Excellence to Supersede every Trial that dared believe possible is not a closed universal set with only such elements available but an ever growing individual set only bound by the extent to which we stretch so we stretch till our limits no longer exist we stretch till our breathes cease and we lay hold on eternity as we be physically transformed to who we truly are saints. We stretch cos we are sent.

So Hello Reality,

My name is Godswill Ezeonyeka and I have decided to not be bound by your rules. Trust me, it is not my intent to come off proud or maybe arrogant; but I just can’t fit into the boxes you house me in anymore. You claim the odds are against me that I can never beat this and fitting in seems the best option, but then I would be lost. So what sense does it make when the struggles of my life gets me fighting for my life? Do I live by the sword only to die by its side?

My name is Godswill Ezeonyeka; and don’t be mistaken, this is no identity crisis. I could join ISIS and show you how real this is but Christ is my Choice, it goes way deeper than what eyes see. This is my decision― to leave like Abraham, eat like Daniel, give like Solomon, to preach like Paul; to only appear normal yet be free so you can see that you’ve been barking up the wrong tree. I am certain you do not know who these people are because the last you heard from them is a letter like this as they dared realms unseen; stomping impossibilities. Their lives all but lost.

Yes― you can call me ‘Unreasonable’, but I make Reason able to find roots on solid― Word. God’s words. So I don’t make thoughts of the pains to come if I fail the shame and repercussions I dare to challenge for yet my rod will still stretch out above these waters, my knees will not yield your command, listen I skate on storms and though a giant may charge at me, you will not want to miss the next news headlines “greater is He that lives in me”.

My name is Godswill Ezeonyeka, and I am sorry― No― I do not agree that things go one way. That fate holds all cards to play. That I am helpless. Too many lies. Do you know who I am? The known world was called forth because of me, so don’t tell me of a ‘real world’, I decide which is real― the world my eyes see or the world I see in His eyes. I call the shots, Reality. You owe me, Reality; so pay attention.

My name is Godswill Ezeonyeka, and I may not be as brave, see this is not about a thorough plan. Your fire may burn me, my friends; the King may not stretch his sceptre for my safety, this boiling oil might be the last of me, these walls so thick may not give way to my victory still His faithfulness makes me faith-full ― Yes! No matter the stakes, I stay high on His intoxicating Word no matter what you bring my way, Reality. Hope you are still listening?

Cos I know for a certainty that aside fairy tales, animals can talk, water can stand tall as walls, the sun can take a pause on its journey and hungry lions can get selective with their lunch. Fire can defy the laws of gravity, a valley full of death can rise to become a mighty army and a man can with God as a son speak. So it doesn’t matter what you think, I just want you to know this much

I have chosen to right my perspectives; to redefine my reality

Like others…and others yet would, I have chosen Him over you and me.

I am broken from your rules.

In Jesus I live. True.

Yours sincerely…
