Why should I complain when I so willingly stay glued
To the same thoughts, the same actions, the same words, the same friends I once knew

I know you try so hard I’m sure it’s a hard place to be
But before you take one more step as you write your own history
Give me a moment to transform your beliefs with my poetic mastery
I believe I can make it
Not for your applause do I say this
I believe I can make a difference
It doesn’t matter if to you it makes any sense
I believe in my dreams

I believe in destiny
The pursuit of purpose till complete
I believe in growth
To be better than whom I was before
I believe in little beginnings
Bearing the potential that birth future winnings
I believe in beauty
The kind that glows even more after a terrible storm
I believe in unity
And I’ll not just speak but I’ll live it
I believe in action
Never to blame my inadequacies on another’s decisions
I believe in balance
If we let our extremities give the standards a chance
I believe in possibilities
They abound everywhere you turn to see
I believe in tomorrow
I’ll sow today and to my harvest I’ll say hello

Though they are little and invisible they champion life’s course
I believe in guidance
Cos discipline could save me the scars of experience

The very solid rock every relationship is based on

No matter the obstacles on my way up

From the right source to get; to the needy to share
I believe in simplicity
The ease it demands to give its beauty

Behind the cameras and the eyes the real deal

They’ll only make me stronger if I persist

The abundance of needs met my testimony
I believe in ability
To do and not brag, to get better no matter the task
I believe in truth
Though hard to bear, will set you free through and through

A conscious decision to grow to accomplishment

Its brightness and promise my drive and motivation

Solving problems through inventive originality
I believe in technology
Built for ease, effectiveness and joy when in proper use

From giving my best every time, every where, every event
I believe in laughter
Borne from joy that lasts even after
I believe in consistency
To hold on strive on no matter the consequences
I believe in money
Though not so universal in use yet remains a necessity
I believe in strategy
Careful planning never has a downside
I believe in acceptance
If we were all born different how else can we work as one?
I believe in reason
If I don’t stand for something I’ll most definitely fall for anything
I believe in speed
Slow and steady wins the race but fast and steady never looses any
I believe in the youth
The energy stream that every dream feeds on; the hope of every nation
I believe in thinking out of the box
Releasing me from the invisible cage the norm presents my goal
I believe in zeal
With which I can achieve almost anything

With time all wounds heal with forgiveness we gain peace

In the battle between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins

From learning for sharing towards education
I believe in a good name
Built alongside a strong character and a good heart all the same

In her blossoms invaluable fruits of peace of mind and safety

And its ultimate goal to find worth in wasting
I believe in discovery
The amount of knowledge we could amass if we settled to find it
I believe in entertainment
A short window period into a world without stress
I believe in family
Close knit and functional the unit of every society
I believe in prayer
Though so simple yet holds great power
I believe in preservation
To maintain life and health our mission
I believe in passion and talent
The raw material for stardom’s presents
I believe in learning
The better I get with every day passing
I believe in credibility
To maintain my words worth with caution I’ll act and speak

So I’ll leave the thinking realm and start pioneering
I believe in the less privileged
Their predicaments, a driving force to do exploits with amazing tenacity

He is indeed my life my love my all

Without political manipulations and its accomplices
I believe in Nigeria
Here I was born here I belong here I’ll transform
