Hello!

A very warm welcome to the first teaching on this platform.

Milk and Meat is set to teach Believers who they are and also help them to establish their rights in Christ.

I hereby encourage that you follow this series with an open heart and I promise that it would not only be a good tool to disciple yourself and others to maturity with, but also a life changing experience in the way you see God’s word.

Let your testimonies be voiced all around the world, in Jesus name, amen.

 

Let us begin with this

Heb 6:1-2 (KJV)

1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God

2 of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

The afore mentioned things are what Paul called the PRINCIPLES of Christ’s doctrine, the Amplified version calls it “the ELEMENTARY stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ” so I would not be in error to affirm that every believer should be well acquainted with these haven believed for some time.

However I have come to realize personally that very few amongst us can teach properly these basic principles and another handful have actually come to believe it themselves, so with that in mind I have decided to begin with the basics so that we can learn them, grow past them and move on to perfection.

KEY WORDS

I want to introduce and define some terms that I would be using in the course of this study and further studies at that, so no one gets lost along the way.

  1. CONTEXTUAL READING: this would probably appear as ‘IN CONTEXT’ most of the times. It is as the name implies, reading a thing in the context it appears. This would need a knowledge of the (PRE-TEXTS) texts before the verse in question and the (POST TEXTS) texts that appear after the verse in question to know what was being said in the present verse under study. This is done to eliminate error in interpreting the word of God because a lot of people have lifted off verses from the word to make it say things that it didn’t not say, even those with a clean heart. So most of the teachings we would be doing would have to be done looking at verses IN-CONTEXT
  2. INTERNAL EVIDENCE: this is when we use another chapter in the same book to explain the verse or chapter under study. It helps to connect both the writer’s way of understanding and also his tone and expertise in communicating. This helps us to curb error also as we would see.
  3. EXTERNAL EVIDENCE: as the name implies this comes to play when a totally different book from the one in study is used to explain for proper understanding. For example taking something from the book of Jude to explain what is being studied in the book of John. This is where the biblical “in the mouth of two or three witnesses” comes alive. However, this is also the point where the error of lifting verses out of context have readily occurred. So we would hereby get into the external evidences with our brains ready and our spirit alert and also make sure that the external evidence we are looking at is in context to begin with.

 

These three terms would help us as we study and if there be need to introduce another, it would be well defined too. Let’s move into the first study which would be;

#1. SALVATION (THE NEW BIRTH)

Our Key Scripture to study this would be the book of John chapter 3 we would run through verses 1 to 18 and I believe by the time we get to 18, somebody would have been transformed in mind.

JOHN 3 (KJV)

1.there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nichodemus, a ruler of the Jews.

2.the same came by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles thou doest, except God be with him…….

This Nichodemus came to Christ thinking He was one of the prophets, all he knew was that Christ was a teacher that came from God, but he was about to learn something crucial that night, look at Jesus’s next statement

 

…………3. Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

  1. Nichodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?…….

Let me first bring our attention to something. This man came seeking miracles and Jesus quickly turns his eyes to the new birth. Notice that Nichodemus was not a novice in the OLD BIRTH, he said exactly how it is achieved “you are born the first time from the womb” and Nichodemus was well aware of that, but he had no clue whatsoever on how the second birth was to occur, so from this point in the conversation all that Christ was trying to do is to teach a teacher of the law how the NEW BIRTH was to take place.

Let’s learn from Christ

………5. Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God…..

Let us pause a little because this verse here has been exported to teach a lot of things one of which is water baptism. So let’s study it a bit. Quickly if this place was talking about being “born of water” to mean water baptism, it would defeat the teaching that Christ was doing.

Why did I say this? He was trying to explain how someone can be BORN OF THE SPIRIT, so if you take off your eyes from the lesson being taught, you are likely to slide into error.

I will hereby attempt to explain it in context and with external evidence to show what Christ meant by WATER in that verse.

To look in context Let us see the next verse

…..6. That which is born of the FLESH is flesh; and that which is born of the SPIRIT is spirit

  1. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again

(Imagine the expression on Nichodemus’s face)

  1. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit…….

And suddenly you do not see WATER mentioned again. Let us go back a bit, to where Christ was coming from (teaching a new type of BIRTH to someone who only knew how to be born of the FLESH) and where He was headed (to explain the birth by the SPIRIT) and those are the contrasts we see in verse 6.

So I would say here that water and the Spirit mentioned above is the same exact thing. It is like saying my Father, the President is coming tomorrow. If your father is the president it would be one person that would arrive and not two. But that doesn’t explain the words “and of” in the verse. We would come to that

How did I get that idea you ask? Well contextual reading explains it, but let us also take a look at an internal evidence

John 7:37-38 (KJV)

  1. in the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, if any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink
  2. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water……

If you read this place and run off, be sure to run amiss, because all you are going to teach would be about water, but what did Jesus mean? See the very next verse

…….39. (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that BELIEVE on him should, receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given: because that Jesus was not yet glorified)

If I was to interpret verse 37 to be that Jesus said “come and receive the Holy Spirit” I would be correct now wouldn’t I? And, take note of the way the Sweet Holy Spirit is gotten, by BELIEVING ON HIM. That standard has not changed as yet, we would get to that. For now let us reconcile verse 5 with the teaching Christ was doing, this time we would need another witness, let us see what Paul has to say about the Sweet Spirit and drinking.

1Cor 12:13

  1. for by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and hath been ALL made to DRINK into one SPIRIT

Look at Paul explain what Jesus was teaching, let us merge them together

There is a way you were BORN AGAIN, by the SPIRIT and everyone who is born again came to be so only BY THE SPIRIT. So it is the Spirit that birthed us into becoming the same BODY with Christ. Now that I have used both contextual readings and evidences to prove that WATER in JOHN 3:5 spoke of the Sweet Holy Spirit, let me now do what I should have done since.

If you get a Greek concordance and look up that verse the word translated “AND OF” in the verse is the word “KAI” and it is better translated as “WHICH IS”. Now put that back in the verse and it reads

…..5. Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water which is the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God

And that verse has a whole new meaning to it, and need I say the accurate meaning also. I didn’t use this concordance because reading in context would have done good justice to it if we kept our minds out of the river and focused on the teaching at hand.

 

From this place, you will notice that Nichodemus now knows how the Spirit birth differs from the Flesh birth, but one question remained unanswered, HOW THEN DOES THE SPIRIT BIRTH TAKE PLACE? And he was a wise man, he asked questions. See what he said next

….9. Nichodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?….

How can one then come to have this Spirit birth? Jesus answered well. Please I need us to concentrate on this answer because it is the doctrine of SALVATION: that is how those that had been and would ever be born of the Spirit would get to be born.

….10. Jesus answered and said unto him, art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

  1. Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, we speak what we do know and testify that we have seen: and ye receive not our witness.
  2. If I told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
  3. And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the son of man which is in heaven…

These statements made here by Christ suggests the doubt rising from within Nichodemus, it is either the Spirit’s gift of the word of wisdom or a facial response that triggered this. Christ then had to take Nichodemus to what he was familiar with: THE LAW

….14. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:….

Christ went back to the scriptures to interpret a prophesy, this is what He affirmed in John 5:39 (KJV)

“39. Search the scriptures: for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”

This is a study we would do in time, because if you do not see the revelation of Christ in the scriptures (Genesis to Malachi) then you did not get something right, because Christ said they lack eternal life, they just testified of Him. Eternal life can only be found in Jesus. See John 17:3.

………15. That whosoever BELIEVETH IN HIM should not perish, but have eternal life.

Now this is how someone is BORN OF THE SPIRIT, BY BELIEVING IN JESUS, NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS.

You do not see a clause added to or removed from it, you have the Spirit once you believe that Christ came in the flesh to pay for your sins and give you His righteousness, and this birth is irrevocable, NO ONE CAN STEAL THE SPIRIT FROM YOU, NOT EVEN YOU YOURSELF. This would raise a lot of questions which I am well willing to answer, you would see links and contacts at the end of this study and you can also freely ask here as a comment.

Let us finish the study like this, I would use two different translations to end this study by putting up arguably the most widely read verse in the bible, accompanied by 2 other verses

JOHN 3:16-18 (KJV)

  1. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
  2. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
  3. He that BELIEVETH ON HIM IS NOT CONDEMNED: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

That was pretty clear and straight forward, believing, not good works, not bad works, not giving, not even evangelism… is the only thing that can get one saved or get one condemned. Let us look at another translation:

 

JOHN 3:16-18 (THE MESSAGE BIBLE)

16-18 “This is how much God loved the world: he gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust in him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-king Son of God when introduced to him.

 

EXACTLY!!!! That is how one can get saved and anyone who has believed has been birthed by the Spirit. Let us move on from this basics of salvation, and move on to maturity. And my prayer is that for everyone who will follow and practice these teachings, the eye of your understanding would be enlightened and if you endeavour to study, the word of God would dwell richly in your heart and in no time, you would be a work man who need not be ashamed for you would rightly divide the word of God with skills that would cause many to marvel.

It all began when I decided to ask questions.

I have, prior to this time believed a whole lot of things but this particular one struck me.

The minister made an altar-call (I was used to picking everyone of those, never had a missed call) so as usual I answered and then he said “every first born child should pray against generational curses”. I prayed fervently in all tongues and was never really satisfied though, that was sometime in 2013.

when this same call was made again in 2014, guess who picked it?

This guy!

Then the questions started coming in

  1. Didn’t n’t you break this curse last year?

  2. Is this curse unbreakable?

  3. You said greater is He that is in you but, do you really mean that?

So I got offended with myself and decided to seek out the truth. and I am here to share because I have found the truth, and it did SET ME FREE!!!

 

YOU TOO CAN BE SET FREE,… just follow slowly.

 

We need to understand how something came before we would be able to successfully put it out: generational curses is no different.

We would use Israel as a case study and see how generational curses came and how it was broken too.

Exodus 20:5

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.

You see similar downward flows into unsuspecting generations throughout this covenant

So in this OLD COVENANT, an iniquity on a Father flows down to generations unborn.
JEEZ!!! I wonder if any generation was not cursed.

Let us get to the sweet and less horror part already

A prophesy was made by prophet Jeremiah concerning A NEW COVENANT, let us look at the clauses of this covenant

Jeremiah 31:29-30

29 In those days they shall say no more, the fathers have eaten a sour grape and the children’s teeth are set on edge

30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

So it is fair now that I do not have to be cursed for the sins of my fathers, but their was a chance of being cursed by my own misdeeds.

NO!!! YOU ARE TOTALLY FREE

read down to verse34

34 and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them saith the Lord: for I will FORGIVE THEIR INIQUITY, AND I WILL REMEMBER THEIR SIN NO MORE

it means that even your own misdeeds cannot place a curse on you if you have BELIEVED IN JESUS!!!

No buts, No maybes!!!

 

read John 3:16, 2Cor 5:19  and Rom  4:7-8

these curses are not from God, blessings and curses do not flow from the same mouth. it is of the devil who happens to be below Christ, and you are seated with HIM far above them.

 

IN JESUS, YOU ARE TOTALLY FREE

So be it a recurring sickness, an age range for death, death of young ones or anything at all that has been a curse to you and your family, in Jesus name, they have lost their hold on you.

Stand in this assurance and experience total victory

My life was never sure

I preferred to stay in the confined walls of my yesterdays because truly the echoing sounds of tomorrow scares me

There was no certainty; I lost some, I won some it has always been a gamble like running to book my ticket with “SURE BET” but ‘am certain we all know how dry the pocket gets when a single match burns the ticket and eyes gets all wet, well nobody is really sure now

Listen!

Because no matter the ingredient that your life has been missing I am sure we will find that ½ truth spoon full, 2 spoon full of grace, full cup of obedience; the recipe for living and thriving in this planet that was constructed without hands, pencils and rulers but from words that sound

That sound
was the alarm clock again, it was 5:01 in the morning and I was still drunk with last night’s wishes. I do not understand how it all took a wrong turn; my body felt like the house at the end of the street, the results I have seen so far from the notice board of my struggles has been nothing more than a constant; carry-overs, though I still seem to be catching fun but whenever the saws of reality stabbed me in the back my blood dripped constantly I was hoping for death but I kept surviving my every breath felt like a punishment for what I did last summer and every time I lay in bed it was another struggle for survival from an attack with no retreat my nights were always like it was spent on elm’s street “eyes wide open, tossing from side to side” so again, my only plea for a peaceful death in my sleep would not be granted as I am faced with another morning

That was when I drew a plan, since there was nothing else for me here I was going to get him to slay me

I’ll enter through the doors on pornography, rest in the parlour of masturbation, sleep in the… I mean slip in the bedroom of sex, incest, cheat and lie on that bed till the one they said ruled the universe takes my breath, now I felt satisfied with what looked like faking my own death

Do not look at me that way

Where was He when the enemy’s dart struck my family here?
Where was He when there was nothing to wear? No silverwares we were broke
Where was He when I lost my father to stroke?
Where is the one you call the living God when I was dead stuck in my tracks? Academics, relationships and it wasn’t like I didn’t pray
So now you know why i am attempting a kick on every available bucket waiting to pack up, that was me before

That was me before He spoke up and now I realised that all this while I couldn’t see him because I hadn’t turned my ways to see Him standing right behind me holding me up, hoping that one day I would take a step back and let Him take the lead (GRACE).

I was long in deceit, my feet hurt from dragging the weight of me through the distance and hating the only one that was on my side, I said I was long in this seat but now I am getting up from the complaints, I saw the pains I caused Him with my words and actions so ‘am pulling down this building plan I made on the wrong foundations, applied to disguise my face, like I didn’t care about anything or anyone, I said I have made a decision to go the distance and never give up, now I dare you to do the same

Go back; take another look at the man in the mirror,
I did once and all I could see was my sober reflection but now I sing a different song from His grace tunes playing on my head set, constantly renewing my used to be depraved mind with His word has got my mind set on the same peace He showed in the stormy boat so you know why He totally rocks my world
But that is not even the best part of taking the only risk I mean the only bet that was finally worth it and giving my life to Christ

It’s the fact that He got my hand set on doing things, this lazy pro in procrastination now speaking truths and redeeming things after getting a call from Jesus, I found my purpose in Him and I am no more anxious to receive a call to glory. I have a work to do, and it is not because I am forced but because I love this work so much, I said I love this walk so much, when I joined the flock it became easy, my feet no more hurt, I can now love;
Though the world might never understand where we are headed I do not hold it against them,

See

When anyone does not believe in you or gives up on you because they don’t understand your purpose and they abuse you just ignore them, you know someone once said that once purpose is not known abuse is inevitable, so?

But purpose can only become unreachable when I drug abuse myself, thoughts of ropes since I have no fans I would just end the controversy and hang myself, this is what happens when I, and not the world is the one who has given up on myself.

So you see why you just can’t?

Your lame excuses for remaining in that abyss is disgusting, you should pick up you mat I said pick up your math, calculate the distance travelled when the physician delved into the deep, travelling forth and back, fought the battle to bring you the victory that you didn’t deserve

I tell you, in Christ you can find the needs you have always searched for, for no prison can bar Jesus, so break forth

I say again, there is no better knowing your purpose than asking from Jesus

Now that we know, I expect every lame here to walk.

FAITH; why yours did not work

Have you ever had faith for something and it did not work? Have you ever sincerely asked God for something and it just did not happen? Have you set your heart on a promise you held on to for a long time and used up your faith bank but in the end it seems as if God has failed you? In fact looking at your heart from here I can tell that the only reason why you have not resolved to say that God is unfaithful is because of your fear in His ability to strike you.
Well that is exactly what this teaching is for; let us take a short prayer; Father we ask that at the end of this teaching, we will know exactly why our faiths have failed us at some point, help us in Jesus name, Amen.

Let me start like this; people had often said that they had faith and it did not work but I want to say that faith always works. The bible said ‘let God be true and let every man be a liar’ so forgive me if I have chosen to believe the words from God instead of yours. Plus I know that when He said we could move mountains with a mustard seed faith, He totally meant it.

So before we continue our journey to knowing why our assumed faith did not work, let us pause a little to check what faith is, because most people who have claimed to have had a failed experience with faith simply have never had faith in the first place.

Haven said that, here is the definition; now FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things HOPED for, the EVIDENCE of things NOT SEEN.
If we can spend some time to re-read that definition, you will realize just how weird it truly is.

Let me leave the EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN for now, because our human knowledge has always taught us that all substantial EVIDENCE has to be tangible, well you can’t touch it if you can’t SEE it, but faith actually says otherwise. Let us go on.

One reason faith does not work is because we have not HOPED, and then some of us will just stop at hoping. That is it, you cannot get it to happen if you do not hope and patiently wait for it. Remember Abraham? Who had hope against hope, I mean hope literally stopped hoping but Abraham hoped on, He believed that He who has promised was also able to fulfill it. Now some of us will just hope or believe for something, but just believing will not get it done it is just a first step. See BELIEVING IS IN THE FUTURE, it is anticipation, FAITH IS IN THE PRESENT. It is like believing I will give you some money, it can come or not but you do not have the money when you believed, you have it when I pay up but faith is God saying He will give you some money, now you have it and then He will surely deliver. ‘ONE REASON WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE FAITH IN MAN’.

Another reason why that faith did not work is because you are not asking right, which means you are not exactly having faith. The bible says that ‘faith comes by hearing, and HEARING the word of God. You cannot be faith-full if you lack knowledge on what you are having faith on. For example, you need to have an unwavering knowledge that Christ died for your sicknesses before you can ask sickness out of your system. The sickness will not respond to the thing you heard in church, in fact; if what the pastor said is all you know about sickness then you will doubt yourself along the line, unless you have allowed the word to sink and you have opened the bible to confirm it beyond doubts in your heart. Let me put it like this, if faith was a machine, the word of God is the grease that keeps it running, so you see? You cannot just stop reading the word or make it seasonal because we do have situations calling us to have faith daily.

Which brings me to the person of Jesus, HE is the word and if that belief is outside of Him, be sure it is not faith.

I will also like to add something here, keeping to the words we say to others will increase your ability to trust in others. If you do not always take your words serious, you will always find it hard to take someone by their words, even God.

The next reason why faith seemed not to work is that faith goes with prayer. I will be very brief here, some people will have so much faith in God, believe with their whole heart, even fast and never come to make a request in the name of Jesus and then I am left to wonder.

Now the last but certainly not least, in fact I will consider it the most important is that you do not love.

Yes I said it, LOVE.

Not the love your friends and kill your enemies love, but the love your enemies kind of love. If we can truly have this God kind of love, most of the things we want to have faith for will just fall in place. Some people seek healing and get prayed for, hands have been laid, they have spent sleepless nights in the word, but their eyes have been closed to just forgiving that fellow who has deeply hurt them.
Read Galatians 5:6 and in 1John 3:14, the word said that Love is an assurance that we have crossed from death to life. Not tongues, not working of miracles, not great faith, but the simple act of true love. I read through Corinthians one time, and I had to stop and wonder when I was told that there is FAITH, HOPE and LOVE but then the greatest is LOVE. You see? Great faith will not only come by great prayer, or greater believing it will work through the golden rule of LOVE.

The only clause that Christ put in the Lord’s prayer was ‘forgive us, as we forgive others’, I am sure someone’s mind is already racing, please do forgive that person if you want to have faith.

So if we can pray, read the word and live in Love, we will have all the right compassion to ask on behalf of others and also build a capacity to exercise for ourselves and then we will see all we want done in Christ come to pass. I wondered why Christ always seemed to have everything going for Him and then the sweet Holy Spirit said to me, well He did love the world before He even came to earth.

I hope I was helpful, this message is not for us to give up or feel condemned, let me mention here that I have actually been disappointed in faith, but now I know better and I have seen that the reason those prayers were not answered was never God’s fault. So be encouraged, and let your testimonies come in,

I think you don’t know who you really are
I mean you think you do but really you don’t.

Because you always change to become whatsoever the most charismatic, sweating, heart heaving, tongue speaking; preacher, evangelist, prophets and pastor. reading the bible and interpreting to-satisfy-my-own thoughts teacher says you are.

You know it is almost hilarious yet appalling that we will believe and live by everything everyone else says about us, except God

You will never amount to anything in life, you are a failure, you are ugly, dull like Barbie, self esteem estimated to be at zero, see! your mates dress and talk better, your life is a mess and you seem to be like a plucked leaf, bitter, just waiting to die; i mean you would have committed suicide if you didn’t see it as a straight bus ticket to hell, so now you make it spiritual and pray, Father please let Christ return and take me out of my misery (assassin?) what you don’t know is that Christ already came, died, resurrected and returned just so you can live your life in victory.

I am here to speak life into you and by the end of this spoken words I am certain that those fixed fingers of guilt, the high heels and desolate mountains, mascara, linings and creams of judgement confused for the truth that has been spoken before time will all vanish because despite your seeming rate of present lack, sicknesses, diseases, shortcomings, and all of life’s bruises, truth sent me to tell you that it was finished, and the devil is only making up excuses.

So do not believe any devil that talks down on you, or looks down on you, no matter how they dress, in what form they come, no matter your height, abilities or the scenes that have played in your life till now, dear, I have been there, I was lost, buried deep down like raw materials surrounded by darkness and despair but His pair of hands dug, found and re-fined me, and it was no coincidence or just pity but the Lord of lords got His hands dirty just so He could love me.

Don’t just take my words for it; search the scriptures to see how true this is.

You know Christians who think they are standing, I want you to listen carefully to this, we are procured to be the solution but it seems we have turned into a terminal illness, only constantly pushing up on people with our hasty judgement, no shade of love and now aggressive evangelism has become fulfilling all righteousness; you know “behold I stand at your door and knock” cos I am Jehovah’s witness; not realizing that the thief cometh to steal, kill and destroy was in reference to false prophets, so if you profess Christ and cause these little ones to be offended, you are a wolf in sheep’s clothing for that was what Christ said.

Please let them know how much Love needs them that He came to become part of them and let them understand that He is not waiting to slay them and He will forgive them and He took those thorns, whipped, beaten and broken, signed and sealed it with His blood to conceal them in Him and I am a living proof, moreover if Christ advised us against divorce, then there is a reason He made His bride you.

So sailing for long on the trials and temptations of this world shouldn’t make you want to spend the rest of your life at sea, even when I was the reason for my own destruction, tried to outsmart the greatest creator, fled to Tarshish from His presence; I started drowning, needed glasses cos I couldn’t see clearly, but as I fixed my sight back on Him, He held me up in His arms, made me walk on stormy waters, took me back to His sheep and I sailed in fellowship with the master to dry lands and then i realized my Lord didn’t have to calm the storms, all He had to calm was me.

Jesus took the sins of the whole word on his back and still schooled the devil, and after proving He was the master, He gave him a PHD, you know ‘permanent head damage’ so when this amnesia patient with his temporary memory loss seems to forget that you have been completely delivered it is your duty to call to his remembrance your salvation, the number is JESUS.
Having overcome the waters and now knowing that lucy has lost his mind when he tries to take you back by the port remind him that you are not just visiting and you are a bonafide son of the kingdom, show him your passport, the proof of your marriage certificate that was stamped by the blood of Jesus.

I know what I am saying now will not exactly make logical sense to the Pharisees and Wise men, but if you can stupidly follow the stars to the manger, you will find that this one is fool proof.

So go out in victory, you were made in His image and when He said you are the lights of the world, He meant for you to go in and love them with the word and then I can promise, the revival we all seek will surface and we all will be overwhelmed by the experience, for even worship songs at TBS will not equal the grace that will be released for you to handle or the glory that will follow when you realize how much was paid for your candles. Do not leave your lamp stand; never go off again, till this world is blown apart for our Husband.

So fellow lights, let’s bring an end to this darkness.
