PENSPEAK 2015: EXPLOSIONS

In the beginning…
God created the Heavens and the Earth.

The Earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

And God said… LET THERE BE LIGHT!!!… and BOOM! There was an EXPLOSION or what some scientific school of thought calls “The Big Bang Theory”…

The thing is, be it the formation of the Earth as my scientist friends would like to say it is, or the origin of light on Earth. This came about as a result of the “spoken word” of the Almighty.

This spoken word brought light to a dark World, one that was without form and just an empty space. This was possible ‘cos the Spirit of God already dwelt there and so with the light came the formation of the Earth, from one that was without shape to a spherical Earth and from an empty Earth to one filled with Land, Oceans, Seas, Rivers and so on. The origin of this Earth we live in is THE SPOKEN WORD of God.

EXPLOSIONS 2015 is a SPOKEN WORD event inspired by the indwelling Spirit of the MOST HIGH to bring His light to a World where His light seems to be quenching… It is by His grace an event that will spark up lights in the lives of all that will be in attendance. It will bring about the reformation of lives to the original purpose and plan of God for them. An event or sorry I mean an explosive encounter with the creator of our lives to bring us back on track to His will and desire for our lives.

So, as you come be expectant, come with a hunger, thirst and desire to receive from Him ‘cos the words which you’ll hear are not the words of man, rather they are His WORDS SPOKEN through man to cause little sparks here and there that would lead to a mega explosion.
Make sure you don’t come alone, bring as many friends and “foes” alike along.

Venue: The Faculty of Arts Theatre,

QUICK QUOTEs

Ephesians 2:8-10: “God saved you by his grace . . . . Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done. . . . He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago” (NLT).

Jesus Is For Everyone

Yes he’s a known thug
Actually, the lead thug
Now he’s in the gathering of the “saved”
Sitting with those he’s maimed
And you ask, “what the heck is he doing here”?
Thought Jesus died for everyone?

A laugh there
A scoff here
‘Cos the local pimp is spotted in the house of God over there
But you didn’t bring him here
So why the scornful look on your face?
Thought Jesus died for everyone?

Eyes nearly popping out
Stirs that could make you quit
Heads turned to their limit
Tongues wagging through the teeth
‘Cos a commercial “pleasure giver” stepped into church
Thought Jesus died for everyone?

Several hushed sounds
From them “soul” hounds
Who come to church dressed as doves
Chasing “sinners” away from God in their droves
Here’s a word for you
Yes, Jesus died for everyone
So, Jesus is for everyone

GRACE

When life seems dark
And the wisdom of men have failed
How about Grace?

A young teenager
Dropped out of school
With an unplanned child
On the verge of being disowned
By the only ones she calls her own
How about Grace?

Another, depressed from the news of having divorced parents
Carrying a burden of responsibilities as the first son
And pressures from cults in school
How about Grace?

Yet another, what should be termed ” JOY” alone
Is mixed with sadness all along
When all options seem futile
Thoughts of suicide skim your mind because you don’t belong
In that battle where evil should win because the soldier has lost his shield
How about Grace?

When this habit or rather addiction
Makes it evident that by flesh shall no man prevail
How about Grace?

Well here is this fountain
Purchased by a priceless blood
In surrender to all ideas, races and decisions and possible solutions
To the perfect source of help
To be in peace, salvation
This is Grace

Grace is his name
This is He that calls you
He loves and predestined you to be justified and glorified in Him
How about Grace?
Why not turn to him
