TWS- JUST SHUT UP!

You know what? I am tired of hearing how impoverished your background is. I am getting irritated of your excuses and reasons for not attempting that feat. You do not have all that is required, so bloody what? I am telling you this because your dumb excuses are beginning to irritate me. I am sick and tired of them. Would you just shut up?!

The next thing you will tell me now is that you did not finish school and the one you even went to was a community school in your village or you lost your dad when you were tender.  Who told you that your dad has to be there before you amount to anything? Oh now, you want to blame him for your inability to stand up and grab the opportunities that has come your way so far? My friend, just shut up!

Let me let you in on some realities that your deluded and lazy mind has failed to see.

I want to tell you about Ben Carson. Oh, if you do not know that story go to the nearest bookshop and buy GIFTED HANDS by Ben Carson. At age 8, he was a victim of a disjointed family. His parents were divorced and he, with his brother, had to be brought up by his mother alone. Wasn’t that enough excuse to become irrelevant in life? That is not even as bad as what became of him in his early school days. He dropped to the bottom of the class and became an object of ridicule. With his mother’s help, he activated his imaginative power. He became determined to change the narrative. Long story short, he did not allow himself to be drowned in excuses. He did something to ensure he amounted to something.

You see why your excuses are making me nauseous? Stop telling me why you cannot and start making bold steps to utilize the world of opportunities that are coming your way. Being disadvantaged is a state of mind and you need to snap out of it. Stop giving me excuses, I no longer want to hear them. DO SOMETHING!

Excuses are tools of the incompetent used to build monuments to nothing. For those who specialize in them shall never be good at anything else

As I wrap this up, I want to say that the distance of your liferathon is not in the number of years you have to live, it is in the purpose you are to fulfill. One can be 80 and unfulfilled and another 45 and fulfilled. Fulfillment is not in age, but in purpose. The reason you passed the first hurdle is to fulfill purpose in order to get to the finish line of liferathon.

I knew you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart for me before you were born; I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations

Jeremiah 1:5 (ISV)

I like to say that you do not have guarantee of long life if your purpose does not allow it. It is the time was allotted for you to fulfill purpose that determines when you get to the finish line.

I used to recite Psalm 91:16 and it used to be my best verse of that chapter. For some time now, I occasionally bring things I have believed in and held tenaciously over the years to a proofing table. One of the things I discovered about that verse was that it was an effect of a cause. I had to trace the cause back to verse 14. I then realized that I have no right to long life if I am not focused on my purpose.

Your purpose defines your finish line. During REHAB, your purpose is made clear to you. You receive the vision you are to run with. The essence of REHAB is not just to empower you to run, but to remind you that your life must count for something. So when you get to your finish line, you can then declare like Apostle Paul:

I have fought the good fight. I have completed the race. I have kept the faith

2 Timothy 4:7 (ISV)

When you come to the point where you have completed your assignment on earth, that is your finish line.

Another thing that happens at REHAB is renewal of strength. Every new life comes with a new strength. This is not a top up or a makeup, it is new. The new strength is not added, it is given completely. This means that every strength you had initially is taken away.

God does not put an old wine in a new wine skin.
 He cannot give you a new life and then top up your strength. He strips you of whatever strength you have; to give you a totally new one that will carry you as you live your new life. This is why He strips you of whatever gave you pleasure in the old life you had. The next time you notice that things are changing in your life that could be God taking you through REHAB.

In Luke 24:49, Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem. He could have just asked them to launch out immediately, but no, he asked them to wait. This is because the strength they need to function effectively can only come when they have received the Holy Ghost, the strength giver.

I am led to say something, and I will close with it.

REHAB is a place of preparation for greater exploits.
 Do not be in a hurry to launch out, wait on the Lord and let Him fill you with the Holy Ghost. That is when you can be fired up for the hurdles of this liferathon.

WWF- SUBMISSION contd

Jesus Christ is literally saying in Revelation 3:20, that He is standing at door of everyone’s heart. That if any hears His voice and opens, He will come in to dine with that fellow. And you can imagine, if the Lord Jesus is supping with you, who is that foe that will disturb? The Lord Himself will handle such. (Psalm 23:5 should come to mind.)

But this will not happen, if you don’t on your own open up to Him sincerely from your heart. That is, you willingly submit unto Him…

Note also that being a willing submission, it has to be daily renewed. Remember in physics, natural vibration does not go on forever. It dwindles to a trickle after a while. So, it has to have a resonant assistance to keep it going. So also it is when walking with Jesus Christ, we will have to daily renew our willing submission to Him.

Luke 9:23

And He(Jesus Christ) said to THEM ALL, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

Let me make these points with Bible references, and draw the curtain on this, though I could continue with more. But I pray God’s Spirit elaborate this better in your heart and mind. Amen.

*Without willing submission there cannot be a proper growth. And without proper growth, privileges that come with growth will be wanting.
Galatians 4:1

*It takes willing submission for one to be able to follow God’s master plan, perfect will, for one in Christ Jesus. God’s master plan is only available in Christ Jesus. And the only qualification for it is willing submission. Romans 12:1-2.

*Without willing submission you cannot command authority. Show me a man who is at the command of the supernatural, and I will show you a man who has willingly yielded himself, his all, to all of God in Christ Jesus. 2Corinthians 10:6.

*Without willing, free, spirit in you to submit, you cannot properly preach the gospel, nor effectively win souls for Christ.

Psalm 51:12-13

12 Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation; and uphold me with Thy FREE SPIRIT (SPIRIT OF WILLINGNESS, according to direct Hebrew interpretation.)

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto Thee.

Pray this from your heart:
Father, uphold me with Your spirit of willingness, that I may do and finish all that you have written for me in Christ Jesus, and enjoy every step of the way.

Amen.

Submission simply means yielding, giving up oneself to somebody, a cause or something. Basically, submission can be categorized into two, viz: forced and willing.

Forced submission is a situation whereby one is made to do something forcefully against one’s will. While Willing submission is when someone sees reason why to be given to something and do just that from the heart.

See, God wants for all people to willingly submit themselves to Him, without being forced. God of the Bible is not like other gods, who are no gods at all, who make people to follow them forcefully. No, He does not do that. It’s not His nature. He loves mutual understanding above other things. He is a fan of willingness, not subjection.
God of the Bible normally approaches everybody with the desire for them to willingly submit to Him. But not cooperating with this will bring one to forced submission before God in the end. At last those that are not submitted to Jesus Christ willingly will experience forced submission, especially during His millennial reign… But this will not lead to their salvation. It will be too late by then. All that rejected Jesus Christ, to willingly make Him their Lord and Saviour, shall finally be cast into the lake that burns with fire and brimstone.

Matthew 21:42&44

42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Isaiah 45:22-23

22 Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

23 I have sworn by Myself, the word is gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Philippians 2:9-11

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father…

Breaking News: AMNESTY; Oct 2, 2016!

Man is brute; man is rude.

Man is mean; man means business.

Man loves money; man wants to be happy.

Man loves to look good; even at Goodluck, E.J’s expense.

Man loves to win, to rule, and to dominate.

Man rapes the systems, including his sisters.

Man eats chocolates, pizza, afang, and her babies too.

Man loves to lie; even with his own grandson.

Man is poor and needy; man is funny.

Man loves his friends, and hates his haters.

Man can kill a fly, a rat, a snake, a dream, and a friend as well.

Man is afraid of losing his friend; man is afraid of losing his life.

Man has desires; man needs God.

Man wants to be loved; man needs to be happy.

The man in man would never allow any man born of a woman to attain the state of a 100% qualification necessary for the best of life that he craves within himself. Therefore, every man plagued with the curse of a Homo-Sapiens genetic make-up, is unable to attain that 100% perfect life, which would enable him get a 100% cosmos reward, no matter how hard he tried. So he is left with the options of attaining the physical cosmos such as large homes and cars either by crook or by ‘conc’ work. On the other hand, the spiritual cosmos, the enjoyment of the finer things of life- his peace of mind, his happiness, he pursued with the fake promises that yoga, blue sea, landscape, a holiday at Ibiza, babies, charity, and the like gave to him.

America since 1776 and the world at large, have pursued more steadfastly than Usein Bolt during the last Olympics, the medal made of ‘happiness’, only to find their medal spreading her wings and flying away to her cleft home just like the American Bald eagle.

Economic recession, leading to depression; religious nepotism, leading to terrorism; love of self, leading to hike in crime rates; urbanization, industrialization, and pollution leading to global natural disasters; are the litmus indicators that man has not only failed himself but has been bound by powers and systems way beyond the Homo-Sapiens’ control. Man from the prehistoric times even until now is been held captive by a dark rule, a dark kingdom that entraps him in the prison life of self-destruction. The wisdoms and knowledge that constitute this kingdom’s system has made man sign to his own death and also sign away his freedom to this self-destructive reign of this dark rule, who on daily basis, ushers a blanket of blindness (the Dark Age) on his poor captives even in the midst of the Age of Enlightenment, the Kingdom of God long introduced in the Year of the Lord, even on this day of amnesty, Today! Today when you hear his voice, do not harden your heart as was done in the rebellion.

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 1

Bear in mind: from the day of John the Baptist and even now, the Kingdom of God suffers violence, and only the violent ones take it by force. 2

The Kingdom of God is God’s own very Rest from every human work, His own very Amnesty, the end of man trying to find God but to let God find him through faith in ‘the God efforts’.

This is His Will, Amnesty: for the Father’s Will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and He will raise him up at the last day. 3

This is the Work of God: to believe in the one He has sent. 4

Therefore, whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only son. 5

The commission: the Christ-a-poet Concept Nigeria, like Apostle Paul, has undertaken a project, commissioned by Christ Himself, to remit, forgive the sins of men by helping every man on earth to understand and respond sensibly to the Lord’s Amnesty on this year of the Lord, October 2, 2016.

The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight of the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. – Luke 4: 18-19(NIV).

WWF- Don’t Just Prophesy, Teach Also.

Prophecy is to be spoken over God’s people, while God’s word is to be sowed as a seed into their heart. Prophecy is like the rising of the clouds and the falling of rain subsequently… But without proper tilling of the ground of the people’s heart and the breaking up of the fallow ground of their heart, via the word of God (thorough and continual teachings of God’s word), there shall be no particular harvest of that spoken prophecy, nor any positively tangible manifestation to that effect.

As a matter of truth, you can only expect more wild weeds to grow in their hearts rather, just as rain will do to an uncultivated farmable ground. Meaning, deterioration may even set in instead.

Please, do not just prophesy over God’s people, you need to also sit them down and thoroughly teach them God’s word, that the prophecy may abundantly produce results. Teach God’s people how to war a good warfare with God’s word on their own, for every prophecy to have an absolute fruition in them. More time should be dedicated to teaching and explaining God’s word to God’s people, for greater and ever increasing harvests. Prophecy without teachings of God’s word is like a car without engine. It won’t do much, won’t make much difference in the people’s life. Understanding God’s word helps a man to properly war a good warfare with the given prophecies of God to that man.

A number of things happen at REHAB. Of all of those things, I’ll pick out two that relates to the thought I have been sharing in this series:

One of the things that happens at REHAB is that your old self is taken away and a new you comes out. God through the working of the Holy Spirit removes the things that were hitherto making your life miserable. Everything that make you lag in this liferathon is taken away and a new person is imputed. This could be habits, friends, addictions etc., they are all taken care of here.
I have shared how I struggled with my past life for almost a year after I got born again. I had friends that I knew I should send to the outer circle, but yet, I could not bring myself to tell them that I had found Jesus. I knew I was saved, but I was struggling with letting go of some kind of friends. I have also shared how I got addicted to alcohol, that I wondered within myself how it got that bad considering my foundation. It took REHAB to get rid of those lifestyle and for me to fully embrace the new life I found.

It is not always an easy process, but it is a worthy venture. It will definitely take a lot from you. It would take you denying yourself of some things that naturally used to give you pleasure. This things could be food, company, home, comfort etc. This is the way of the Eagle. It makes the decision to strike off its beak, and pluck out its old talons and feathers. This is where you play a role in REHAB. You have to give God the permission to remove all those things that need to be removed. When they are removed, you can now see the new you emerge.
You cannot enjoy this new life, if you are not born again. You need to acknowledge Jesus Christ as your saviour and make Him Lord of your life. He is still in the business of giving a new life and He will give you today if you let Him. Do not push this any further, this is a wonderful opportunity to get rid of all those things that are wearing you out. Just pray to God to come into your life and make it brand new.
