Reborn!

Sometimes when we cry
It’s not the hurt done us
That moves these rivers from our eyes
It is the pain that hides behind our hurt
Inside our hearts

We know there must be a solution
But oh how we wished we never had to seek one
So we cry and let go of our emotions
Maybe we can stop this pain maybe we can feel warm
Inside our hearts

No matter how crazy, I weep and smile
Because even though I’m hurt I have hope
Many say ‘tis not so much but a fairy-tale, a rhyme
Yet my tears are reborn to joy in Jesus
Inside my heart

PEACE AT LAST!

Okay people, I’m going to try out something that is in most cases considered wrong; fortunately I’m the one with the pen, so I’m going to do it anyways. I am going to assume everyone reading this has at one time or another sought-after peace of mind. By this I mean that nagging feeling you get during exams, at about 4pm at work, about 7 months into your pregnancy and many other stressful situations. Yup, that feeling to just get this over with and just rest, get a moment of quiet and when you eventually do, it feels like PEACE finally!
Now in most cases this would make for a very good story or movie, however if you and I were to be truthful, this particular dream never comes true. This is because the troubles never end! Think about it, you finally finished from the office, you had a nice bath and meal but before your beauty sleep, your little brother called, your mother just got admitted at the hospital. After that exam, you went home for the holidays but that don’t mean you can just lie about the house and even though you do, your success in the past exams only means even more complex and difficult courses, more lecture hours and what’s more exams again. See the cycle never ends! From kindergarten you start a seemingly endless journey of formal education and just when you think you’re done you are faced with building a career and notwithstanding you have to make money to support yourself then you have to get married, then you have to support your family, then you have to make sure your children grow up right, then you have to make sure they get married and then your grandchildren come along and oops! Where did all the time go?
So if you are waiting for a time when you’ll have peace and I mean the real deal and not just a fleeting moment, you will not get it. However just like brother Paul I would love to show thee a better way:

Phillipians 4: 6-7
6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ.

What I’m insinuating is instead of waiting for a moment of tranquility and peace why not have it every minute everywhere you go. I’m talking like peace every day. Yes, it is possible and that scripture up there is the formula for getting it. It may seem too simple but it sure works. This is just one of the many advantages we find in having a relationship with Jesus. He said in Him we’d find three things: righteousness, peace and joy in the Holyghost. So what you waiting for? Go get your peace on!
Welcome to the winning side of life

More of God’s grace!

QUICK QUOTEs

The trouble with nearly everybody who prays is that he says ‘Amen’ and runs away before God has a chance to reply. Listening to God is far more important than giving Him our ideas.

QUICK QUOTEs

Ephesians 2:8-10: “God saved you by his grace . . . . Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done. . . . He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago” (NLT).

GRACE

When life seems dark
And the wisdom of men have failed
How about Grace?

A young teenager
Dropped out of school
With an unplanned child
On the verge of being disowned
By the only ones she calls her own
How about Grace?

Another, depressed from the news of having divorced parents
Carrying a burden of responsibilities as the first son
And pressures from cults in school
How about Grace?

Yet another, what should be termed ” JOY” alone
Is mixed with sadness all along
When all options seem futile
Thoughts of suicide skim your mind because you don’t belong
In that battle where evil should win because the soldier has lost his shield
How about Grace?

When this habit or rather addiction
Makes it evident that by flesh shall no man prevail
How about Grace?

Well here is this fountain
Purchased by a priceless blood
In surrender to all ideas, races and decisions and possible solutions
To the perfect source of help
To be in peace, salvation
This is Grace

Grace is his name
This is He that calls you
He loves and predestined you to be justified and glorified in Him
How about Grace?
Why not turn to him

Have you ever taken the time to ask yourself, “What if?” What if you ….. Fill in the blanks. When you ask the “what if “question, you are allowing yourself to drea.
I want to talk about 5 years from now. What do you see? What are you doing to prepare and plan for what you see? Most of us are so busy doing things we have to do that we never get around to doing what we really want to do. Many people never take the time to think about what God wants them to do… over the next 5 years. I meet so many people who have abandoned their dreams for one reason or another. I don’t want that to be the case for you. Why? Because I believe the dreams in your heart are God-given and are a part of His calling for your life. A lot can change in 5 years! God has taken me from insecure in His call on my life to living a life of purpose as I actively pursue my destiny. However, I have discovered that it’s not always easy. In fact it can be downright hard to pursue your dreams! The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 5:3, “A dream comes about with much business and painful effort. “I want to share with you what I’ve learned on how to fight for your dreams, and how to turn what if, into what is!
We are all creatures of habit. What’s Your Routine? Every day you do so many things the exact same way without even thinking about it. The way, you put the toothpaste on the toothbrush. After doing these habits for years, you continue to make these choices without even thinking about it. And it works the same way with the bigger issues of life. It’s not until you STOP and THINK about what you want to do with the rest of your life…that things will start change.
You could be doing the same things you did last year and can’t figure out why nothing has changed. You must make decisions that will lead to and support the goals you want to achieve.
How do you know if your choices are leading you to your dreams? Look at the results! A lot can happen in 5 years…or nothing can change in 5 years!!!
Dorothy, in the Wizard of Oz, said “If you don’t know where you’re headed, then any road will take you there.”
Imagine its 5 years from now. Ask yourself… What if? What do you see?
If you are going to achieve your dreams, you will need a coach, a mentor to consistently speak truth to you. Don’t let just anyone have a voice in your life. Who you have in your corner is vital to your success.
Proverbs 13:20 tells us, “He who walks with wise men will be wise but a companion of fools will be destroyed.”
It is so important to spend time with people you want to become like. You may not personally know people who are the success you want to become, but you can spend time with them through their books or audio teachings.
One of the major ways the enemy will try to distract and cause you to give up on your dream is through the negative words of others speaking into your life. That’s why it is so important to make God’s Word the final authority in your life, not other people’s opinions.
No matter what your dream is; – it will require intense focus. Are you willing to pay the price when it becomes hard work?
Never Quit The Fight! Pursuing your dream will require a fight, but listen to me: Never, throw in the towel! It’s always too soon to give up! Determine that you’re going to FINISH STRONG.
You have an assignment. Some people say, “Life is like a carousel—sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re down, sometimes you just go round and round.” Others may say, “Life is like a deck of cards—you just have to play the hand you’re dealt.”
The truth is life is an assignment. You are here by assignment. You have been assigned a mission!
See Beyond Today. I believe my mission is: to provide the tools & the teaching to show people how to make their dreams bigger than their memories.
My mission keeps me focused. My mission helps me see what my life could be like 5 years from now. Seeing beyond today helps me set goals and know where I’m going. My mission empowers me to dream and ask, “what if” questions.
“If you aim at nothing, you’ll hit it every time.” – B. J. Marshall
I want to encourage you today to write your core values, your vision and your mission down
Proverbs 29:18 says “Where there is no vision, the people perish.”!
