I have a bad habit of knowing the actual cause of a problem, a scenario, a situation.
But stay with me.
That’s not the real bad habit, the bad habit is that I either say it out raw or give unsolicited advice for it.
This behavior has cost me friendships and in cases where I let go, it turns out sour.
I have seen the consequences of letting go.
Yes, grave consequences
I’ve tried to be diplomatic in telling the truth but it seems to be like the reel you scroll past a few seconds ago
I’m always seen as the rugged, up tight, hard aunty in the room
The one people think through before relating with
I have tried being the civilian but it’s hard to fit in
The civilian style doesn’t seem to work out for me
So here’s my open commitment to telling the truth raw
Like lated spirit on wound
Like surgery
Like amputation to save lives
I’ve once lost a life because I let go
Here’s me reporting for duty again.
