ETERNAL LIFE

it was so much joy
That day I joined the life
In the race of men
I gave my first smile, looking into her face who gave me life
While mouth stocked to her chest gulping out desperately a white river
A white river that would make me strong and grow

Day by day I got to know how life is
The sweetness of it and the sour it gives
How good life could be and how evil could penetrate
I only know the first life given from a woman
But as time grows
I begin to see despite life was given life itself could be taken too

I see the young and old been taken
Taken not from the woman who gave it
But taken from another life named death
Death I was told it’s also a life
Another life not to live walking
A life laying silently below the ground
Soundless, only the cracking walking sounds of termites feasting on every part beneath the ground

One morning ,I walked down with mama to a place
Under a shield filled with different faces
Looking lost but wanting more
There , I got to know of another life
Far better than the life from a woman and the life beneath the ground

I heard of the third life
A life flowing with milk and honey
A life of peace without stress
A life which know no sickness nor sorrow
A life forever more with no endings reigning with kings and Angels
A life bought by a boy called Beloveth Son
Who give to it freely with His blood
Blood bonding is as one
That whoever believeth in Him should not perish
But have Eternal life

Jesus be REAL!

Pour me a drink He said.

I ain’t got time for y’all Jews she said.

Oops if I were you I’d be asking me for a drink He said.

Now there you go thinking you’re better off than our fathers she said.

Well I got water that  will give them water-well companies a run for their money He said.

Oh really? She exclaimed Well can I get some? She asked.

Go call your boo He said.

What you all up in my business for? I ain’t got none She said.

You are correct cos you’ve had 5 and the one you’re with ain’t yours He said calmly.

What the? You must be prophet! Can I holla at you for a Moment?  We have church at the mountain cathedral but y’all Jews and the like say we all have to get to Jerusalem before we can have church. What’s up with that? She asked.

I’m gonna be real with you, God is done with all them physical locations. These days, any man that wants to worship can do so wherever he is in spirit and in truth.  and that’s what’s up. He said

SOME LESSONS FROM KAREN KINGSBURY

(1) She has the passion to inspire people(of different ages)through her books, movies, songs and speeches; which we should also show forth in our dalily life ( and bring sustained sparks in people’s lives.

(2) She has a helping and faithful heart as shown by the help she rendered by adopting the three Haitian children and by having faith in God concerning her own biological son that came down with a heart disease at the early stages of his life.

(3) She shows excellence and creativity in all her works, which should also be part of our lives especially in whatever field we may be relevant in.

Other lessons are embedded in this biography, so let me not say it all.

EVERYDAYJESUS’ Worship 3 (an update)!

Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted by much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. “But one thing is needed and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken from her.”

Luke 10: 38-42(NKJV).

Home making is both a duty and a major hobby for me as a woman but then on the other hand lies a higher duty and calling which is worship. Sometimes while going about my woman functions diligently; it could be very easy to forget the place of worship – the better part. Worship for me, is a God consciousness in the very most mundane thing. It is to me like not just shuffling back and forth the Mary-Martha woman life, but running the ‘Mary and Martha Me’ skillfully at the very same time. The Truth is that Martha isn’t the wrong one, in fact nobody is. She didn’t know something I know now, LOL. Woman balance is worshiping in my most very common activities. If I realized that the Lord is right there with me, then I would involve Him in my home making, this to me is pure worship! Home making like every other thing is fun doing but when done with the consciousness that the Lord is right there with me, it becomes even rejuvenating and refreshing – worship actually is refreshing! If you ask me, I would tell you that as a woman, God is glorified when I do the home thoroughly because that is my God-given role being attended to very well, but then, God is even more glorified when I let Him help me with my chores because I let Him teach me by His Holy Spirit the best ways to do every single thing. Do you know that Abba Daddy could give one a snazzy elegant DIY on almost anything including a perfect haute cuisine, cordon bleu ‘how to make a good sauce for potatoes’? Well He has given me tones of ‘em, no kidding!

SUBTLE

She began speeding down the road
A million miles per hour
Blindfolded
A smile pasted on her face
Oblivious she was headed in the wrong direction.

Just imagine her short-lived disdain when the obstacle suddenly cut short her fairy tale ride and the last sound she ever heard was her cry…

She had her hands on the controls
Everything seemed right
So she figured,
She could afford to shut her eyes and enjoy the ride.
A ride, everyone had stamped as alright
Besides everybody was doing it now
…so why contrive?
What worked for them should definitely work in my different way for me
So freeway or highway she was definitely bound to end up this way anyway.

You can imagine the way that smile immediately turned upside down

No! literally it turned upside down
Because her head on collision with deception and betrayal
Hurt and disappointment
Crashed into the ill placed curb of destruction
Carefully camouflaged by a black and white track called lust
Which was so strong that she tumbled over and over again
Until she hit the ground hard enough to shake of thoughts of survival
Simply because she refused to read the red tall sign that cautioned quietly; STOP

So there she lay, on a bloodied road named Guilt
Dying a death another already did
Trying to pay for a life already paid for
She was what you may call Lost…

If she however would only open her eyes
Unlike Judas she may not fail so woefully at the sight of a possibility: A NEW LIFE
How she doesn’t have to hang from a rope
Because He already hung from a tree…
Endured a Calvary of sorrows
In exchange for her joy
You see, she will no longer be Lost
…or even worse condemned.

Because…
Where the sting of death ended was far from where the mark of Christ started
In fact it was non negotiable!
When Him who is Life held the keys to her eternal hell
He chose to set her free.

She must realize…
That like a corpse laid dead for four days
A word spoken from the very lips of creation was able to re-jerk a pulse so cold and far spent
Regenerate a heart so used and wasted
Turn a pot of clay into a vessel of Gold…
She must choose to realize
That she has only arrived at the CROSSroads
…where Grace and mercy meet.

But first she must open her eyes…
