These three: Faith Love and Hope

1st Corinthians 13:13

As 2025 draws it’s last breath
Leaving some of us wondering how fast it went

And 2026 approaches with silent steps
Shrouded in mystery and unknown depths

We must take time to reflect
As the the old gives way to the new

Not on unanswered prayers that our minds would have us dwell upon
But rather with intentionality on the riches of Abba’ goodness

Shifting our gaze from things undone
With laser focus on things he has done

Those blessings we sometimes fail to notice
That our hearts would like to miss

Yes! I speak of those very ones
Considered common, normal, usual

Which are of great value and of immense worth
Only if we pause and think upon them, do we realise how good our God indeed is

Like the gift of life, the very reason we are here today
The unquantifiable blessing of good people, family and friends

Soundness of mind and good health which money can’t buy

The miracle of going out and returning safely EVERY DAY!
Having no human bodyguards yet heavily guarded by God’s invisible angels

The precious gift of salvation we got on a platter of gold
An offer denied to Lucifer and his fallen angels

The Name of Jesus- that wonder working name
That answers us when we cry unto Him

And more that time may not permit me to mention
But which I am sure we all have received

And if like me, you are grateful for His manifold blessings

Chorus with me:

“Thanks be to God who daily loads us with benefits”

Now,
As we march with triumph into the new year
There is a word for you and me

Written in 1st Corinthians 13:13
“And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest is love

On faith, Remember, faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. So feed on the word and believe it as though your life depends on it
For Indeed it does!
For the just trully, shall live by faith

On hope,
Remember Abraham, the father of faith,
Who, against all hope, believed in hope and became the father of all nations
Never lose hope, no matter what, for hope makes one not ashamed!

And on love,
Remember Jesus and how he demonstrated his love for you
Consider His Sacrifice
And never forget your worth, for you are greatly loved, no matter what

So stay grounded in His love
On your highest mountain or
In your lowest valley
For He has said:

“I will never leave you nor forsake you”

AMEN 🙏

HOPEFULLY HELPFUL TALK || EP 13

Your Mindset Is Everything

What’s your mindset and perception per time?

Keeping a perspective of faith and thanksgiving allows you to see as God is seeing – the possible, abundant and peaceful way.

Educating and filling your mind with quality information propels you to learn and win.

You become excellent beginning at your mindset. (Proverbs 3:13, 18:15, 1:5, Daniel 1:3-4)

Heart of gratitude

I lost balance while walking down the aisle of thanksgiving,
I slipped over my challenges, fell and twisted my ankle
I immediately lost consciousness and was rushed to the clinic by an Uncle
At the clinic, I was examined and tested,
“There is something wrong with your heart that needs to be corrected”
the Doctor said
“It is a problem of ingratitude” he continued
“Alas! this malady has been attested” I muttered in pain.
“Clement, your gratitude to God shouldn’t be based on good events and
happy moments. Your gratitude should remain even when there is a
defiant opponent” he concluded , examined me again and left the ward.

IN ALL THINGS?

We don’t want to bother God
Says man made of mud
So we bottle up what we ought not
Leaving our mind in knots
You receive not for you ask not
What to pray about you say?
All things my brother, so you don’t become a prey
Everything my sister, on every blessed day
So Unfriend anxiety
Cast away its ray
Put on Christ’s piety
And your armor of faith
Whatever it is
Grand or small
Possible, impossible
Serious or minor
Pray about them all
Yes! In all things by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving…
So go on your knees
Lift up those hands
Put your hands together
Lie flat on your tummy
Stand on your feet
Sit on the floor
Whichever position you choose, just shut out the noise
Surrender all
Cast it to God
Receive His rod
Believe it’s done
Make a loud noise
Wait till it comes

THANK YOU

I have known the Father’s love for me
God has been good to me
He’s been good.
Through it all, He has been there for me
God loves me
I didnt earn it
I didnt bribe Him for it
He just loves me.
Years roll by,
Situations come up
Giants threaten me…
But, He has always fought for me…
I do get scared at times,
But, He has always comforted me…
Securing family and friends for me…
Providing for me,
Protecting me,
Building me…
Doing it all for me.
If all I can say is ‘Thank you JESUS!’
If all I can say is;’Thank you Lord, God Almighty!’
Then, I better say it well…
Cos’ my God has truly been good to me.
