Gethsemane

The garden reminds me of him

Bowed down he bore weights too heavy before they ever landed. My Lord knew the battle was his to fight and he would not let me suffer. If this price had to be paid, then he would do the paying.

The garden reminds me of him

The Lord of glory had need for help. Every minute brought him closer and every gesture was a prayer. He that was everyone’s everything had no one’s nothing to journey with him. Alone he must go. A lone garden he must sow.

The garden reminds me of him

Before the curtain dropped on sin’s final payment.  Before ever a drop of blood hit the floor. Before stripes parted his skin and men killed the one that healed them. The garden bore witness to my Lord’s humanity. The garden bore witness to this man’s divinity.

The garden reminds me of him

CHILDREN’S CRY

Why are we left?
To always suffer pain
Are there no more hopes left?
What in this world is gain?
What more is there to claim?
What joy, refined is given?
Evil just keeps growing
Suffering persist with a blow
No scene of happiness
No thought of happiness
Where is the future glory
Where are the leaders of tomorrow
Are they not the fatherless?
Ignored, homeless, speechless,
Non-important, useless, senseless
Are they not a prey to AIDS?
Instruments of evil rather than good
Child abuse, drug abuse
Love of sex, zeal to steal
I don’t care, where’s the money?
That’s the world’s request
Where’s the exemplary leader?
Where are the hope, peace and unity?
Where’s the freedom of good will?
Where’s the chance to be good?
Where’s the parental love?
What struck LOVE itself?
Why are we neglected?
Why are we suffering?
Please! Can someone help?

What Kind Of Love

What kind of love is this?
Can someone please tell me?
What kind of love is this?
I simply do not know
For a man to lay down his life
For the sins of every one
For a man to suffer so
For what he did not do
What kind of love is this?
Can someone please tell me?
What kind of love is this?
I simply do not know
I will call it divine love…
Oh Yes, I will call it divine love!

What kind of love is this?
Can someone please tell me?
What kind of love is this?
I simply do not know
For a king to leave his throne
To come to this wicked world
For a Lord to come down low
To save mere mortal men
What kind of love is this?
Can someone please tell me?
What kind of love is this?
I simply do not know
I will call is Agape love…
Oh yes, I will call it agape love!
