Check List

Bucket list,
No…
A check list
Definitely…
Cremé de la cremé
A creamy latte for all
My troubles aren’t bad at all, sweet, sweeter, sweetest

A bucket list could come after,
After we’ve collided like Gas molecules inside a Cologne

No body badder
I’m not settling down the ladder,
Each column of our Adventure together would be littered with laughter

A laughter list
That would set my cry list ablaze for good
My oh my…
Delulu
Is that you?
Looks like I’m trapped with you…
Not like I mind,
Delulu is the solulu for a Long List of Breakfasts that could last a life-time,

Certainly, we should live to see the fine times,
Breakfast at least
Don’t die starving
Perfect trust, perfect love,
That’s what they had on the menu before it became crumbs,
Imperfect times shouldn’t defile the future fine lines
There’s a lot on your timeline,

Checkmate
Victory dance it is
You still stand a chance at love
Congratulations in Jesus name

Agba stepper
After you nah you,
if you had your way, you would have done leg walk,
But, no panic, your steps are being ordered into God’s menu,
Make a bucket list
Already,
God’s choice will overrule the checklist

What Faith Wears

Faith wears
Knowledge as an anklet, a jungle boot
Saves your thorn trudging soles
And lights your thistle-bush swamped soul
With glints, glimpses of rays
From the Heavens

Then faith wears
You out
Makes you see yourself as a lion
Starving in the jungle, mocked
By an abundance that attacks your tongue
A world wrestling to claim your eyes

Faith offers you sight
Makes you lay down in green pastures
To be killed, to die, and die again
As you preach peace
In a world where wild fights
Fill the heart with joy
