LET'S DRAW A LINE

hear,
if I’m Elijah
let there be fire
not failure
as Baal’s seers

if you’re Moses
lead us through the seas
not drown
as Pharaoh’s chariots

and
if we’re God’s
let’s be extraordinary
as gods

I mean,
let there be a drawn line
here.

Worth

What’s a life worth?
Birth, mirth, and death
At best?

What are dreams for?
Fuel to fight, run, and soar
To empty summit?

What will wealth bring?
Fame, friends, and bling
Things fading, dying?

Where then, is worth?
Beyond means, dreams, and death
Infinite Life, God.

Air Born

It’s always so scary before it’s not
Malaria was once a world most deadly but now it’s not
Every time
We seem to lose sight of how much we have in our pot like trying to count every thyme

How do we neglect victories like this?
Power like this?
God cooking in our hearts just to beat our imaginations

New diseases much stronger than the old are just preludes to show that God has no limitations.

So I’m relaxed

I heard Corona might spread to every state but I don’t live there
I live in a Power state of mind

I was told yesterday that this my confidence will soon wane, “come on watch the news and hear it now and again”
But I get easily bored
I mean, to me this guy and headache are just the same

I cured a waist pain yesterday
Tummy ache the day before
That’s how kings do
So why would I be bothered about coronation today?

Let your mind wield a fearless gear
Let them know that there are some fearless here

And like David who didn’t flinch at a 10-foot giant
My faith is air Bourne

I am already infected
Spirit filled
You can’t tell what I’ll heal next when I swirl the power resting within

I’m air born

Closed Lids

When we close our eyes, we open them elsewhere.
When we close our eyes here, we open them there
When we close our eyes, we never really stop seeing
But a day will come when our eyes will see beyond closed lids

KING-SIZED

Get an old basket.
Patch with hay, so it leaks no water.
Then fill with straw to its brim.
Soft woolen sheets go next.
Cotton spread over it all.

Next, situate this in a stable.
Where horses neigh their lullabies
And the sweet smell of cattle-dung
Fills the air.

Congratulations.
You just made a King-sized bed.
But what’s a King-sized bed
Without The King in it?

Merry Christmas.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.

If you are reading this, you are already here
The anthill is now a mountain
The pond is a sea
Life is now a fountian
Bursting with whatever troubles may be

If you are reading this
Dark clouds have converged
For the storm is now fruitful
Your feet and head await to be submerged
As all previous plans don’t feel as useful

If you are reading this you may be at worlds end
But “be not afraid” is the Lord’s trend
And his love is past, future, and present
Even at the world’s end

If you are this reading this
Know that Gods love is breath when you are left gasping
And his embrace can fill all your gaps in
The issues of life tend to always buckle under his name’s weight
And his word makes mountains mere exercise for faith

If you are reading this, you are already here
If you are reading this, you already won.
