To an Unknown God

Sometimes Church feels like Athens
Worship-wielding wanderers wondering

To whom do we gather in obedience?
Men masking maladies making monuments?

Our fellowship should be love in experience
For Father’s foundations form family finesse

So from what root then comes our difference?
Banal boastings blurring basic believing

To a known God shall be the gathering of brethren
Rightly revealing restful reverent righteousness

In knowing God the Church must find her essence
Honing humans hosting heaven – holy harness

The Fathers Pride

When your falls end up on the trampoline
When you are celebrated like a muddy kid
When you have a trash can to let out how you feel
When you have a diary to express your promises, your vows on impulse
When you make deals with dirty hands and bounce out because you have backup
When you talk rashly and he saves you from the consequences
When you had to say you are saved because your looks do not say so
When your uniform is all flesh and no authority
All bark and no bite
Harmless as a dove but not wise
Gentle as a dove but not bold
Too many call him Saviour
Yet not willing to join his league
Save others with your skin
Be the servant that wears the crown

If only you make him Lord so he can wear you as glove
He saved you but he cannot make the most out of you

Tell me, whose father will be happy
The one who sees a son take his car keys and drive mommy to pick the groceries
Or the one whose grown up son still begs to be taken to the candy shop

Not through the corners anymore
It is you I speak of!
You who has refused to let him make you his kind
You who has refused to do his bidding, close his deals, take his ideas into reality
Yes, you who has refused to use the gifts embedded in you
To double it
To perfect it by the reason of use

Is it too much to ask?
To live a life of the One who died in your stead?
Had to come back to life so Guilt will not become your friend
Had to stay back so that you will not lose track
Too many call him Saviour
Very few know what it means for him to be Lord
I hope you are the few.
I have said enough.

DO IT!

have you read about wedding in Cana?
did you remember Rabbi’s mother
“whatever He asks you, do it..”

the washing basin,
the vessel for new wine

Miracle,
is the result of illogical obedience

hear and DO!..

LETTER TO THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

Dear damsel of Honour
A few words for you that may not hurt
Your role is quite exquisite
Therefore you must be all it takes, no exceptions
A gentle heart, quite accommodating
Large enough to fit in all the lost sheep
You must know how to tend to a shoal of fishes in an unbroken net
Making dinner is a routine
Please no recipes in the wrong sauce
Only serve at tables with your hair dyed a deep red
A prove you have been sealed with the blood of the lamb
You should be an epitome of beauty
Something competitors can emulate
You need a Joseph’s store of patience and obedience
To last till the troupes waiting in line linger
Your eyes must only be on the Lord
Don’t glance elsewhere, they’re all dead mirage
His instructions must be your delight
A rebellious mind he does despise
Please fill your soul with the deepest love
Leaving no void for another to fill
Pride will leave you where the Nephilims’ are
Don’t hesitate to fall at his feet
You have to be a perfect mother
Who knows the secret remedy to all her children’s whims

Don’t Be Deceived

He came not for the righteous preachers
but forsook the glory to save lost sinners
from destruction of the night
into God’s marvelous light
…they that be whole need not a physician
but they that are sick.”

He came not to condemn
but here to usher you
into a new realm of love
that’s more sacrificial than a dove
“for when we were still sinners
Christ died for us..”

He came for reconciliation
of men to their God
not for humiliation
of men by the Lord
“…for I am come not to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance.”
then He taught them to live in true obedience.

Don’t be deceived:
He offered us liberty
to be law-free.
He gave us grace
to be performers of His holy scene
not as a licence to sin.
“For sin shall not have dominion over you:
for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

Don’t be decieved!
Christ is here
calling you to believe
inviting you to live.
leave fear,
Come“, Love says.

Joy

What is Joy
Joy is pleasure
It is deeper than happiness
Joy is rapture
Rapture is orgasm

This is His gift to dead men
Men who are broken bread and poured out wine
Men of the alabaster box of savored oil
Sweet smelling living sacrifices, men of obedience

Joy is dying, joy is cheerful giving
Joy is Abraham returning home with a resurrected Isaac
For the LORD will not abandon him in the place of the dead
By Faith, you kill you; By His Spirit, He gives you your life

That is joy

Urgency

I have a schedule
It isn’t subtle
The purpose is my prison
and in and out of season
I used to be a victim
Of accidents and habits
The devil thought he had me
But Father’s plans are working
Obedience made of loving
The highest of perspectives
The wisest of the wisest
Yeah I have a schedule
Yeah it isn’t subtle
But if thus says the Lord
My schedule sits to watch
