WILL YOU BE?

The trickle of salted water
Opened up the flood gates of its tap
The fiery gaze of hurt and pain
Like boiling blood
Will you be the hands to wipe off?

The bleeding of the shape I call love
The grief of the cut in two
The loss of the pieces fixed to it
Will you be the one to mend?

Like stones hurled at one
The weight you can’t bear
The pricks it leave behind
Of fear, of poor esteem
Will you soothe my ears?

Steps higher steps above
In doubt and fear
With skills but no grit
Will you be the one to urge on?

My love my perfect
Imperfectly perfect
Frail, grace and calm
Will you hold my hand?

When my eyes are covered with fear
And my hands quiver in despair
When my Feet drown in doubt
Will you be my Anchor

When the day wears a black gown
And the Sun refuses the smile
Hiding the face of the moon
Will you be the voice hope?

😞God is so forgetful

In my preconceived days,
Death of one was permitted by one for all.
I arrived, malnourished:
Flourished in my mother’s nature before I was held bound by love.

It started-on good,
Until the material part of me danced onto pride,
All because I did well in Christ.
Beckoned on Grace to harbor my shame and all I got was,

FORGIVENESS!!

Why?
For what it’s worth
I hurt your trust
But this…

You forgot!

It never ended with pride.
Sometimes lust came through,
Hate approached enticingly,
Anger slipped in,
And yes I gave in.

How come all you did was FORGET?

Lover

Your heart like an ember
I know you remember
The moments we shared and the lights that it rendered
The lilies we gathered
For your love was an anchor
It held us together
Even when I repelled and was attracted by doubt and depression

Your love is faith
It conceals the thoughts of my heart from the fatigues of unbelief
Your love is an ancient word, hidden in the bedrocks of my heart
Agape, a fruit Stemming forth from within
Being pruned carefully not considering any retardation to yield
Those lashes you took, for me
With a spear through your hips to spare this unfit
This is deep!
Chills through my body—you didn’t give in
You gave up when there was nothing worth fighting for
It’s finished, I mean I was finished
A recreated piece

What Faith Sees

What Faith Sees
Faith sees beyond the eyes of beings
that force a flight
through all clouds of sense
that brings evidence
Faith sees unseen things
Hidden from all mortal eyes
And brings to fullness
The good tidings

Faith sees a conviction power from heaven
That holds unto the promise God has given
As His everlasting love encircles us as we run
By His grace to strengthen, guide as we go

Faith sees a conquering power
Strong in might from weakness
Securely fixed in Christ alone
For the victory he won.
Faith sees the cross
As a melting soul repents
Of sin, as he admits his dross
And all is forgiven.

STRANGE AS A SUN

Nothing so strange as a Sun filled night.
Nothing more real as a Son filled darkness.
Such peace, when our fingers intertwine.

Nothing so strange as darkness posing as light
Nothing more surreal as a blue sky when heartbroken
Such madness, when our wits are feeble

Nothing so sweet as freedom
Nothing more special as owning nothing
Such wisdom, emblazoned in knowing you own nothing

Christ-mass

It is the mass for The Christ
A celebration in honour of the Saviour
Procession started by some wise men from the East
With an overflow of shepherds on a field

What is Christmas?
It’s a mass for the First begotten
A celebration in honour of the Lamb
The birth of our Advocate

What is Christmas?
It’s a mass for the Heir apparent
A celebration in honour of The Word
The Word becoming flesh, dwelling with us

What is Christmas?
It’s a mass for Love
A celebration in honour of Love Himself
A redemption plan borne out of Love

What is Christmas?
It’s not about you or your fleshly desires
It’s about loving, caring and sharing
It’s about putting a smile on someone’s face

Christmas is LOVE!!!
Merry Christmas
