When we seek Him…longing for him
As a man longs for his lost love…
Gazing at Him as a maid looks to her master…
Waiting on Him as
A waiter waits on a guest
We will find that
He has always be there
He has always been near
waiting…
For communion.
Your eyes
Tell you what I used to look like
I’d stare
Look away because the world was there
Your ears
Tell you there’s a longing no one bears
No one but you
And I.
You mean
More to me than time can reveal
You are
Like this sea of wonders
And I
Can’t get over you.
Your lips
Purse with currency no bank keeps
Your heart
Was not mine to steal from the start
So take your heart
And I.
You see
Deeper in me than I can feel
And tomorrow better be better
And tomorrow better be better

A past that never happened
You are
Beautiful

What if you knew that I truly would rather not be here?
What if you knew that my knees refuse to be still?
That my pounding heart is the one sound you cannot hear
Would you listen to me still?
What if I told you how unsure I am of this?
That time and chance kidnapped my will and set me up
What if my lines are not yet the truth I want to live?
Would you listen or shut me up?
What if I am confident?
I know what I have put in , I am ready
What if I don’t fit in the box “humility” presents?
Would you be pissed or yet listen to me?
What if I am nothing like what you are expecting
What if you still listened anyways?
What if the content was your hearts longing?
Wouldn’t you be glad you listened anyways?

All scattered in the street,
Visible to every corners,
Dedicated to the rain and sun,
Just like obeying the clarion call,
They wish not for this course,
Longing for strength to rise,
But nature held them bend,
Cast not the stone on them,
Give a smile to them,
Stretch forth an arm to them,
Love them with words to bear,
Bless them with gifts till they blend,
They are the beggars we see,
Let’s love them as equal,
To show Christ we love,
Till he comes as a beggar in the night.
