It Makes No Difference

It makes no difference
If we are so different
That the nozzle
Of our presence
Does not exude reverence
Or give preference
To the one that gave life
It’s essence

It makes no difference
That we’ve become Workaholics
Busy with the work of the Lord
Without having time to fellowship
With the Lord of the Work

An Usher
That has not developed
The receptacle to usher in
The presence of God
Is a bouncer

A church member
That keeps a seat in Church
But does not keep in touch
With the Word he hears
From the church
Is a “Chairman”

It makes no difference
If we are not different
From the world
We were called to change
Instead, we rejoice and be glad
With our hands in chains

Why will a creature
Be forming Socrates
That he becomes so creative
In denying the existence
Of his creator

Why will the media
Become the truth
We crave to hear
Than the very Word
That gave “hearing”
To the ear

Trojan

I do not have a face to sink a thousand ships
Nor a jealous lover the size of Greece
But I came bearing a gift
the penultimate one

A two edged sword and fancy words
Add a message from Jehovah
Those were the parts of my trojan horse

I do not have a face to sink a thousand ships
Nor a jealous lover the size of Greece
But a slice to the gut and the king lay dead
A message from Jehovah I had delivered

You don’t look a gift horse in the mouth
They’d all said
But this time they were wrong.

POWERLESS

Control controls us
The things we rule, rule us
Still, we build these kingdoms
With dungeons meant for us

We keep a lookout, armed with mistakes
Raising shoulders, bending knees, holding steady
We still keep count of the paths we take
Like life won’t shoot till we’re ready

Our lives are like a feather
Dancing in the wind of our maker
Left alone we’d fall and wither
But with him, we hold the power

I hope we one day learn to wield
Power that creates and changes things
I hope we one day learn there’s a will
That makes boundless power ours to inherit.

GOD’S LOVE

God’s love, the great honor bestowed upon man kind
Given to men of all kinds,
This is beyond kindness ,
This is God’s love.
Available for even The most unworthy of people, I’m talking sinners, washed and cleanse as their creator.
This is no stereotype love, this is no aeral type wash,
This is purity.
God’s love is a spiritual chemical, that breaks down your sin crested chain bonds
And transforms vagabonds into Godsons
God’s love is a factory reset button, that deletes your diseases
And resets your life to its divine intention.
God’s love is inner peace and tranquility,
that tranquilizes all of the world’s hostility
So should you fall into anxiety’s quicksand,
Should failure become Pharaoh, saying you will know no promise land.

God’s love is a spark, a fire that burns away your fears.
Its ever-present breeze of certainty, that blows away the embers of anxiety.
God’s love is the foundation upon which the pulpit,
Pulls men from the pit of depression
Its what Christ came offering
Its the origin of that which makes whole all in infirmities.
I have heard testimonies of men with no limbs becoming walking testimonies,
I have seen the deaf become hearers and doers of the word,
This is no blind faith, but faith that heals the blind.
God’s love is real, its no fairytale
Its no princess and Prince
But the prince of peace,
pierced on a cross,
impaled at his side,
Every drop of his blood fell to the ground as a sacrifice.
Gods love is to go to hell, defeat and bring eternal life
God’s love is life.
God is love.

Worth

What’s a life worth?
Birth, mirth, and death
At best?

What are dreams for?
Fuel to fight, run, and soar
To empty summit?

What will wealth bring?
Fame, friends, and bling
Things fading, dying?

Where then, is worth?
Beyond means, dreams, and death
Infinite Life, God.

Air Born

It’s always so scary before it’s not
Malaria was once a world most deadly but now it’s not
Every time
We seem to lose sight of how much we have in our pot like trying to count every thyme

How do we neglect victories like this?
Power like this?
God cooking in our hearts just to beat our imaginations

New diseases much stronger than the old are just preludes to show that God has no limitations.

So I’m relaxed

I heard Corona might spread to every state but I don’t live there
I live in a Power state of mind

I was told yesterday that this my confidence will soon wane, “come on watch the news and hear it now and again”
But I get easily bored
I mean, to me this guy and headache are just the same

I cured a waist pain yesterday
Tummy ache the day before
That’s how kings do
So why would I be bothered about coronation today?

Let your mind wield a fearless gear
Let them know that there are some fearless here

And like David who didn’t flinch at a 10-foot giant
My faith is air Bourne

I am already infected
Spirit filled
You can’t tell what I’ll heal next when I swirl the power resting within

I’m air born
