Sureness

Hello again! I hope your day has been fantastic. Take a look at these amazing Freestyle Friday pieces—they’re sure to inspire!

Topic: SURENESS, SANITY AND SEPARATION
DATE: 18TH OCTOBER, 2024
HOST: GODZNIEL

This freestyle Friday featured this captivating piece by GodzNiel:
She sat with me conversing on the balcony
Cleft to me
Gratitude was there, of course, surrounding me
Certainly
All the signs aligned and no defending me
Suddenly
His voice came through speaking contrary
Shocking me
Sometimes we let desires be our eyes indeed
Bully Jesus into giving us to Philistines
Literally
Putting Words in his Mouth, since it’s our tongue he needs
All the while trying to monetize divine identity
Ctrl-D

I thought it was God
But now it’s absurd
And when you hear the Word of The Lord
The walk is assured

He told me to focus on being the center piece
Would have listened but The Lord gave my center Peace
And my mother left the room after she had said her piece
No I’m not a centaur, please
Some trust in chariots, and riots, but I prayed for peace
But the Lord said that brothers gonna really shift
Mothers, daughters, Fathers, sons will be Judases
What Jehovah sees
Though you calculate with the highest of GPTs
Trust and obedience still trumps any enemies

As for my mind,
Yeah I thought it was God
But now it’s absurd
And when you hear the Word of The Lord
The walk is assured

Family telling me old things
Funny we all used to visit
Finally someone is preggies
Freely we’re sowing and reaping
Father will never be noisy
Firmly but quietly speaking
Found in the Abba who knows me
Fasting and praying to One King
Food for thought and tautly bound to him
Flew into the wilderness while chuckling at what my bounty is
Fruitfully existing
Fire in my chest astounding me
Fixed in Christ, the Faith is founding me
Fan the hope and let his love abound in me
Fight and kill sin in me bodily

Enough F-words without saying the F-word
Half-measures need more than effort
And I ask, who’s fault?
I thought it was God but that is absurd
We need to obey the Word of The Lord
That the Walk be assured

A Failed Weapon

There is a weapon, I mustn’t use as a Christian
Because using it, is tantamount to failure
I am strongly warned by captain of the Lord’s army
Never to use this weapon
It is certain that, it will definitely fail whether here or hereafter

Rickety machine gun, Mr. flesh
This weapon is weak to execute righteousness without taking the glory
Executing, holiness, peace, love,
humility, joy, kindness is far-fetched from this weapon
Using this weapon for the Lord’s battle is disastrous

A weapon set against the user
You shoot hatred, you inherit broken relationship
You shoot lust, you inherit vanity
You shoot anger, you inherit disorientation
You shoot worries, you inherit high blood pressure

Truly, is a weapon set against the user
if he uses it, the arm of flesh will fail.
The only authentic weapon to use for the battle
Is the weapon of a new man
Created in the image of Christ Jesus

Letter I

Dear Believer,

Christ has not come to mould you in guilt
but manifested to destroy the fiery fright
of hell
and release thee from inferiority cell

for you’re a chosen generation
priest in kingly mansion
you’re a god
with big God

Yeshua is not here for your eviction
but all the way to the cross, it is redemption;
from thy saviour
you conquered the forces and its emperor

for you’re made a battleaxe,
weapon of war
to break the devil’s ass
and send his men trembling by thy roar

Jesus died for all thy sins
leave the screen
and stop watching the old scenes,
you already have a holy gene!

for unto us, Christ is made righteousness
in pure holiness
in perfect sanctification
and accomplished redemption

hey,
what else?

Church Chairs

These wooden bars kiss more butts on Sundays
According comfort while they stay lay
They hold not a few, void of potter’s clay
Deciding the direction of heads, lined up like plays

Oh! This old rooky object
Which beyond weights carry burdens
Sits firmly
To support a broken heart

These pews are not for saints alone
Neither are they a symbol for show off
The first row does not signify superiority
Neither does the last state a lack of commitment

Nor those occupied by priests portray holiness
Theirs could be different but we are all one
The color white doesn’t promote purity
Neither does style infer ungodliness

Chairs should be what they are, chairs
Nothing more
A support for comfort
Whether in church or at home

In Africa or in Rome
They should be to the pope
What they are to his congregation
An object for resting butts
