ALETTER TO DIVINITY {MY TESTIMONY part 4}

At first I didn’t understand you
It all looked like another lie
How can you tell me you were in love with me?
Yet all I see is all you never promised
Oh now you would say its my fault
Or maybe I didn’t do the right thing
But its all your fault; because you have all the money
You have all the power and I’m weak;
All the houses yet I live on the streets
What is there to enjoy in this relationship anyway
But now I know better; and best is so far
Finally I said yes to your proposal
Now I feel like a king
I give myself away!!!
Your protection, is over protective
Faithful in my unfaithfulness, merciful and longsuffering
You filled my insides with yourself
Now I’ll deliver as you have always wanted
But you’re so patient, that I’d learn
I stray and you stay, preserve and protect, bless and use
I blame you, you never blamed me
You warned me not to go that way but still I did
Now I see ills and pour the hates on you and I now return again
What would you have me do? You three in one
Trinity in divinity

MY TESTIMONY part 3

He said you would come; he said you’ll never leave
When you came, you searched for me
I know where you found me
You explained him to me; I thought I knew so much
You taught me what he said you will,
You only spoke the truth

Here I am now living all by myself
You talk in that voice and push but i resist
Must I do this evil to all who truly love me?
But then I realized you’re not a feeling
You are more real than my heart bat
The almighty; my best friend who has my interest

The other day you suggested what i wear, I did
The other day you suggested what read I didn’t
The other day you suggested what I eat, I did
The other day you brought them my way; I misunderstood
I always want to cheat on you
For getting that you got there before me

Wish you’d stop suggesting and just make me do it
This choice in a choice I made had really killed me
I lost you, but big brother brought you
Please never leave me again
You are the best friend I’d ever have; please one thing i ask
Can we be intimate? Cos I love to love you
Sweet Holy Spirit.

MY TESTIMONY part 2

The best elder brother you’d ever have
Gave up his inheritance when I lost mine
Appeared weak just to give me power
Other servants could have done it but he decided to do it on his own
Daddy didn’t need to ask twice

Not knowing he was the one, I spat on his face
Called enemies to scorn and put him to shame
if only he had told me who he was
If i had known it was all for my sake
But my decisions didn’t change his

Broke his heart but he was bent on mending mine
His love for family made him shed his blood
He kept at it till he had no more blood to shed
Now I can speak to father because of him
He promised to return, and I have missed him

Hope I’m still following in his footsteps
Cos really my big brother is the biggest hero in history
Broke every law science would make
Spoilt mathematics when he said two equals one
The first master to ever wash a servant’s feet

Then when he needed me I denied him
But now I know better than to go through this alone
For he told me to do just one important thing for him
Go and preach!!! So i pledge allegiance
To you my Saviour

MY TESTIMONY part 1

He gave me everything I would ever need to survive
Supplied me with all the nutrients I need to grow
Got every hand on deck just so I would become something
So large a boss, he still spoke daily to me…
That was till I was no more satisfied with my status

Why should he make all the decisions and take all the glory
If I am so good why can’t I decide something?
Why not eat and my eyes be opened
Yes i did eat and my eyes opened to darkness
Little did i know he detests rebellion?

Yet he loved me so much as not to curse me
He looked at the ground and cursed it for my sake
I was sent off and sacked with my salary
Only for him to making reconciliation plans
He is indeed merciful

He tried all he could, until one choice was left; a sacrifice
I never thought he’d pull that one of
But I’m living while his son was dying
Just so I can be adopted and inherit what was never mine
Still I sin and stray from him daily

A stretched out arm, a reconciliation, mercy, a sacrifice, an adoption
What more should i expect?
Yet i blame him for everything and in all
He keeps, protects and picks me from all falls
He’s my loving father

WHEN NOBODY UNDERSTANDS YOU

Have you ever been; in a stance when it seems no one understands you? For every action you take, someone seems to find a fault. When you want to be calm and sober, people think something is getting at your nerves and getting you worried. Or maybe You are depressed, and when finally you resolve to laugh and chat with other folks, you suddenly turn to see a sea of frowned faces gazing at you, trying to tell you by their expression, that you are too loose and liberal.
In addition, the sense of guilt comes to your heart. If you are not careful, you would think to frown is spirituality. Then you quit your laughter and happy mood and feign sobriety to the imprisonment of your emotions.
it won’t be long before you realize that everybody wants you to be like them or maybe give you prescriptions of how they think life should be lived, and when you try to please everybody you do not only displease yourself but you will be overwhelmed at the ounces of confusion that sets into your world.
When everybody seems not to understand you, you should know that Jesus does, because there is no friend like him. Every good temperament can accommodate and enjoy the life of Christ. We all have our individual differences and idiosyncrasies’ but Christ can find our expressions through our temperaments if only we should submit our hearts to Him.
Have you ever sought for the correct words to say to someone who seems to misunderstand you? You desperately wished “if only he could understand what I’m saying” or maybe you had thought: “I’d only they understand my plight”
The truth is that, we are all human, we are not angels, but even angels have differences, if not, we would not recognize and identify them when we meet them in heaven.
Maybe you have not also realized that you misunderstand people sometimes, we may not understand people’s words or actions always, especially when we cannot take a glimpse of things from their own perspective. Whenever you try to make people understand and they seem not to, you should just commit it to the Lord in prayer.
Jesus understood the fears of Peter even when He denied Him; He understood the weakness of Paul. That was why he made his grace sufficient for him. He understood the stance of Mary Magdalene even when all the Jews had condemned her, but when the Lord understands our failures and weaknesses, He only does so to make us stronger and better and not just to tolerate us. You may have been astonished when you realized that actually, nobody sees things just the same way you do. That is because God does not want us to act and understand alike, He only wants us to blend our actions and apply our varied understanding for the utmost pleasure of his heart.
The next time someone or some people misunderstands you, turn to God in prayer, with a sober heart and ensure you have his approval. If then you’ve secured God’s approval over your action or utterance, then tell God about the misunderstanding, but if God convicts you, then be humble enough to apologize to the folks you’ve hurt. Nevertheless, one thing should be clear to you. It is normal on earth for you to be misunderstood. However, it has never been heard of anybody being misunderstood in heaven. That is why you should strive together, to get to where everything is plane, pure and lovely. However, as you still put on the flesh, you should learn to accommodate misunderstandings.

WHEN YOU HAVE ALL AND POSSES A FEW

Life is full of complements; no body lacks everything entirely and nobody has everything entirely. We only find out soon how much we need the other folk, amidst all the things we have known we can do on our own.
And how astonishing it is for us to stumble into the realization that most people, much more than we know need us around to survive, not necessarily to continue living but to survive the hurts that try to bleach life and make it a world of depression instead of satisfaction and fulfillment with a hope anchored on eternity with Christ.
Most times God has punctured my pride! When I assume the frame of a peacock in my heart thinking, I have all I ever wanted. I look around me and see the souls that just need my company to retain smile on their faces-Those who have carved me with gold in their hearts, many more who have placed much value on my utterances even when I say things that do not make sense, they ensure that I am retained in that lofty position in their heart. I had then come to realize this; my worth is a little less if I take it upon my heart that I have everything I should have and only need to dispense the much virtues that I have convinced myself I should have in abundance and do not actually need anything from anybody.
When we think we have it all, we are not only surprised when we realize that we only have an iota of the many good things God has given to mankind, but if we are not careful, our astonishment can degenerate into jealousy much faster than we think we can control our thoughts. Then, the best way to have all, and indeed then only way, is to see others as a part of you and you as a part of others. This are not just complementarities, it is a relationship which one assumes to have all the good things he wants, yet, he possessed just but a few of it and only an iota proceed from him.
We enjoy the things we made up our mind to enjoy. Moreover, that includes enjoying the presence of God. When we’ve come to realize that God did not put all his treasures in any man aside Christ, but even in Christ we do not altogether possess all we need until we see Christ giving us all He possesses through direct communion with Him and secondly by our relationship with other people. We often think Christ would give us applause if we tell Him that we do not have need of our fellow man because we have him. Maybe He will just smile and shake his head in pity, for a any man who reasons this has not seen the treasures of Christ that exude from others. When we realize that in Christ we can enjoy all things, both the things we have directly in our possession and the ones we can access in others; then we will see that even that little fellow that sits besides us during sermon, is as important to us as the preacher. For life can be boring if you fail to see Christ in your brother or sister.
Failure to see this usually degenerates to depression and boredom in our walk with God. Nevertheless, the extent we can see Christ in other people and that we can access without envy, the treasures of Christ made available to us in others, is dependent upon our understanding of Christ in relation to the folks around us.
We may have asked, if all we need is Christ, why then did God give us all these things with Christ? Is Christ not just enough for us? Well, the things God gave us with Christ are actually all in Christ. Nevertheless, God gave us all things with Christ so that in having Christ we would see all things in him. However, a man who possesses only the physical/material aspect of these things with Christ Himself only has a shadow of the real thing. Shadows are never celebrated. Only substances are. We can live gracefully if we see all that God has given us in Christ in other people. Nobody ever enjoys the things he possesses without envy of the things he does not possess until he discovers that the things he does not possess are actually part of his belongings, if he learns to enjoy it as though they were his.[1 Cor. 3:21]
