It Makes No Difference 2

It makes no difference
That we project ourselves
As believers
But we so much
Believe in the blatant Lies
Of Deceivers

Again, they call their preacher
Maniacs
Yes! the maggot mouth
Of Covid 19
May turn the world
To a Morbid Canteen
But the Word of God stands still…
…Still enough to be a
Statue of Liberty to those
That will die living in it

It makes no difference
If you believe not the Word
Because your disbelief
Will not alter the plans of Divinity
Believe it or not
We still have Mortals
Possessed with the Spirit
Of Immortality
Those whose time will not end
Till they see the end of time

It makes no difference
Living in the natural
And beefing the Supernatural
Because Life is not all about
What you’ve seen
It’s all about
What you’ve not seen

In the Labour room
Of this Lockdown
Is a Primigravida in Labour pains
Pushing to give birth to the likes
Of Meshach’s and Shedrach’s
Sons that will pledge their lives for the Word
Sons that will grow like Abraham
To become Fathers of Faith

In a time
Where the Wisdom of the wit fails
And Fear Factor is the Main Actor
It makes no difference
If we(believers) are not different
Because if we die is the Word,
We live is the Word
IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE

Dominion

How do you explain the distress of nations
With fear and depress so much to mention;
Countries running helter skelter for help
Doctors wondering whether their impact will be felt
The media hunting latest news to saturate the air
Now the air is filled with Panic and too polluted to inhale
A decent handshake is enough to be suspicious
You flee when your brother clears his throat because you’re cautious
You adjust when your sister worships God in tears because even tears is contagious
So what do we make out of Romans 16:16 where the churches of Christ are sent with greetings of kisses?

Borders shut down for safety
Airports closed up for security
Social gatherings suspended
With no clue of revert intended
Economic activities are on hold
Even the weather seems uneasy to the face of this wanton unfold of a virus
Causing stampede to world powers in such a way that is disastrous
Introducing new words and giving the people new tongues
So it’s either you social distant, isolate or quarantine.

The next thing we heard was an announcement;
Every religious gatherings is hereby ordered to stop until further notice
A subtle penetration into the church that the ordinary mind may not catch
But we the soldiers of Christ as a strong army are on the march
We are not at ease in Zion.

That enemy touring the towns  like a  roaring lion
is incapacitated as we pray-a-thon;
His frustration keeps increasing as we speak in tongues
Of course, these are signs that the end is near
But we are not engrossed in fear
We have the shield of faith with the word
We have come into oneness with the son
The confidence we have in the Father remains evergreen in our minds
As it is written, we are his witnesses from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth
So any other thing spreading from China to other parts is not a threat
For the birth of Jesus is a sure bet that we have been born to rule over death.

FALL

Should you fall
Should the devil try to be your warden and sin your prison
Should your burdens become so heavy you can’t stand tall
Or Should guilt flood your mind and drown your reason

Should you fall to your own pride.
Moonwalk into iniquity.
Fall over the dark side
And bow to its ubiquity.

Should you lie or cheat
In fear or deceit.
Should you steal or even kill
So much that your seems fate sealed.

If you should fall, then fall.
But fall for God’s love and his sacrifice
Fall into his embrace For grace has paid your price
Fall to your knees and commune
Fall in love with him and to the darkness, you will be immune

If you must fall then fall
But why not let the solid rock be what you fall for
If you must fall then fall
But fall for Christ and fall no more.

WILL YOU BE?

The trickle of salted water
Opened up the flood gates of its tap
The fiery gaze of hurt and pain
Like boiling blood
Will you be the hands to wipe off?

The bleeding of the shape I call love
The grief of the cut in two
The loss of the pieces fixed to it
Will you be the one to mend?

Like stones hurled at one
The weight you can’t bear
The pricks it leave behind
Of fear, of poor esteem
Will you soothe my ears?

Steps higher steps above
In doubt and fear
With skills but no grit
Will you be the one to urge on?

My love my perfect
Imperfectly perfect
Frail, grace and calm
Will you hold my hand?

When my eyes are covered with fear
And my hands quiver in despair
When my Feet drown in doubt
Will you be my Anchor

When the day wears a black gown
And the Sun refuses the smile
Hiding the face of the moon
Will you be the voice hope?

Oh God!

God in these times when there is fear,
Fear even to move from here to there,
The news are becoming too much to bear,
Lord we know that you still care.

The world at large is afraid of the virus,
And the news O Lord is getting serious,
There seems to be no one to trust,
But we know that you are with us.

So Lord we proclaim peace not fear,
We know that you are forever near,
Forgive our sins and heal our Land,
By your mighty power and stretched out hand.

Lord give us the wisdom to wash and pray,
As thou grants us the grace to watch and pray,
And in thy power keep us safe and near.
For we speak peace and not fear.

Air Born

It’s always so scary before it’s not
Malaria was once a world most deadly but now it’s not
Every time
We seem to lose sight of how much we have in our pot like trying to count every thyme

How do we neglect victories like this?
Power like this?
God cooking in our hearts just to beat our imaginations

New diseases much stronger than the old are just preludes to show that God has no limitations.

So I’m relaxed

I heard Corona might spread to every state but I don’t live there
I live in a Power state of mind

I was told yesterday that this my confidence will soon wane, “come on watch the news and hear it now and again”
But I get easily bored
I mean, to me this guy and headache are just the same

I cured a waist pain yesterday
Tummy ache the day before
That’s how kings do
So why would I be bothered about coronation today?

Let your mind wield a fearless gear
Let them know that there are some fearless here

And like David who didn’t flinch at a 10-foot giant
My faith is air Bourne

I am already infected
Spirit filled
You can’t tell what I’ll heal next when I swirl the power resting within

I’m air born

LAUGH

Laugh, when your feet is aching
When your heart is breaking
When life storms seems to make your faith shaken.

Laugh, deeper than your pain
Louder than your fears
Laugh for he has taken your cares
and his joy is yours to gain.

Laugh, smile, jump and dance
Spare not these worries a second glance.
Laugh for your strife was won by his stripes
Laugh and let victory be forever your stance.

Laugh…
