NEVER YOU QUIT

Never you quit in the middle
Cos you never know whether that riddle
Will lead you to a prize
Of which you cannot fathom the size
Don’t quit yet

You may be swimming in trouble
And it seems as if your problems just double
Even when you give it your best shot
They never seem to stop
Don’t quit yet

Before the dawn of morning there is darkness
Before the joy of accomplishment there striving
You cant tell whether that last blow
Will get you there smiling
So don’t quit yet

Even when in that sorrow
You have to rejoice for tomorrow
Cos god is definitely on His way
So don’t you quit just yet
To avoid such regret.

A QUICK WARNING!

Don’t fall into it
Please not in that pit
Don’t fall in that pit
Because what you see
Is only a counterfeit
But look not the way you dim fit
Walk not with the guide of your feet
But walk according to the spirit
And think not on your past defeat
And though you consciously blew it
Go to the one who forgives your sins every bit

IS IT WORTH IT?

Is it worth it?
To keep living in sin
Only to end up in hells pit
Is it worth it?
To keep postponing the date
Only to find yourself before heavens gates
A little bit earlier than you thought
Is it worth it?
To end up in hell
Cos you never found the courage
To confess what you did while on earth
Is it worth it?
To snob his word in your ears
And find out its truth while in hell’s flames
Is it worth it?
For a man to gain the world
And lose his own soul

Is it really worth it?
To have no time to say it
And watch your friend die in sin
Is it worth it?
To believe and get saved
And ignore as others perish
Is it worth it?
To say you love jesus
Yet never speak about him
Even though he did command it
“For if ye love me
Keep my commandments”

Will it be worth it?
If you turn to heaven’s gate
And millions you could have saved
Turn to eternal damnation and pain
Will it even worth it?
If you are cut off from the tree of life
For not bearing fruits, an unworthy servant
Will it be worth it?
If you are sent the other way
For a little sin, an unconfessed sin, a little bit of pleasure
Will it be worth it at all?
If you find out
You had been wrong all along
Only to find out it’s too late
Forever damned, never to be forgiven
Is it worth it?

NO TIME…

Another stressful week I already decided
Woke up in a rush with plans to spend it
Just a little time of praise and worship
No, I’d rather rush out into the warship
Yes I heard that voice calling,
This need be done!!! He was almost screaming
But like before still neglecting;
An important assignment that needs submitting

A good solution I finally provided,
“Meet you in the afternoon” I said
Got back from classes all wasted
I’m hungry and sleepy, weary legs and tired feet
Satisfied the flesh and its yearning,
Still that voice kept calling
Now you are becoming a disturbance
I know how to go through this turbulence
…but if I had known I wouldn’t be standing here
Could not dodge the speeding bus in all my haste

Just next in line to my great dismay
With what eyes would I look upon this glory I now say
Heard everyone present works, not story
Gathering all I left undone from memory
Finally my turn to tell of works done
Being repaid in my own coin, so undone
Cast out fast with fury, worth less than a dime;
Now in this heat, I’d have all the time;
No more voices

CONDEMNED BUT SAVED

A terrible story I had

Lived for all that was bad

All gave up on me but one

He knelt there writing in the sand

Asked all who I stood before condemned

If their names would in the book of life be found

They had proposed to have me killed

To take my life for I had sinned

But they thought in their Hearts to use me

To test and tease the master just to see

If He would condemn or accept me

If He would reject or justify sin

Had I known I would stop weeping

For He who I was carried to Hence

Was the son of God sent from Heaven

To save the world and people like me

He would not condemn me He said

Nor would He send any away the same

Though I came to him in sin

I left His side forgiven

And though I should have died

His compassion gave me one more chance at life

No matter my sin He still saved me

When no one would He loved me still

An adulterous woman I stood

Caught and condemned by the law I knew

To be stoned to death was my fate

Until Jesus came upon my way

He asked them but a little question

“Let him without sin, cast the first stone”

One by one the people left

With hanging Heads and guilty Hearts

So don’t be quick to judge or say

Or point an accusing finger in anyone’s face

For all have sinned as the bible says

And the truth is only Jesus saves

So when you think you’re bad

Worthless with no hope at all

Think of my story in John chapter 8

And know that though your sins be great

You still have a place in Jesus Christ

If you would simply accept him into your life.
