RUNNING THROUGH THE YEARS…

Running through the years
I stopped to catch my breath
It sweetly seemed so long a race
That I couldn’t see the end of the years
The starting point was simply a memory
Because it had become a physical illusion
Practically, every past distance was erased
And it represented a forgotten place.
The beginning was gone, yet the future remained unseen
I could only but reflect on the past and focus on the future
Because the sudden days were running by…

In all, I craved for a better tomorrow
I noticed that in the panting under the elements of ‘hustle and bustle’
Being beaten by the strokes of discord
And constantly chased by the winds of temptations
All seemingly a part of the unending race.
However,in the heat of the race,I still looked fresh
Slowly and steadily running to my desired prize
When the nights came, I endured the darkness
Praying my way through the evil forces
Patiently waiting for the joy that cometh in the morning…

Honestly, I realised that I am not where I want to be
But at the same time,I’m not where I used to be
For the goodness of my own couldn’t lead me this far
But its only the grace of God that continuously strengthens me
Keeping me in His love that lasts forever..

Life itself is that race that we run either consciously or unconsciously…!
As for me,I will give honour to God for His help through the years
‘Cos when I recall my darkest nights and remember my deepest fears
I know I have a great story to tell…

I think it’ll be good for every saint, as God chose to call (christian, according to the name the people gave us and never God), who wants to have mastery over every affair of life and put satan to where he belongs, that is under their feet permanently, to undergo a training, called, ‘Sonship/Daughtership Training Programme.’

-The grand lecturer: The Holy Spirit. Jn. 14:26, 16:8-13, 1 Jn. 2:20, 27

-Other lecturers: Other anointed ministers of the gospel of Jesus

-The Main Course Material: The Holy Bible

-Other Materials: Anointed teaching materials absolutely according to the Bible

-Duration: As determined by the Holy Spirit, and also the individual cooperation and obedience will be a factor. This will definitely vary from one person to another.

-Requirements: You must be dead to self and sin, that is, you must hate sin passionately. Gal. 2:20, Rm. 6:11-14 & 12:1-2

-Course Outlines/Course Materials:

-Introduction: The supernatural is attainable unto all. Jn. 3:3, 31. 5:19-21, 26-27, 8:23 & Rm. 10:12. (Hint: To be born again means ‘to be born from above/heaven)

-Decision/Determination: Lk. 14:27-33, 9:57-62, Jude 1:3

-Discipline: 1 Cor. 6:12, 10:23, 9:24-27, Mt. 16:24, Lk. 9:23 . . .

-End Result:

-Walking in the supernatural: Jn. 14:12, The supernatural operations of prophet Elisha in 2 Kgs, The story of Jesus’ Apostles, Acts of Apostles.

-Sustenance in the Supernatural:

-Good Conscience: 1 Tim. 1:19, 3:9

-Humility: Mt. 11:29, 1 Pt. 5:5-6, James 4:6-7, Phil. 2:5-9

As the morning lights breaks through the night

Automatically  darkness gives way to daylight

Our mini-skirts and shorts give way to church hats and ties

Smoky eyes and red lips give way to ‘just as thou art’ makeup style

Words full of grace have to play cos vulgar words or lies don’t sound right.

Tequilas and red wine give way to Holy Communion and rites

Pornographic materials give way to huge bibles and pads to write

Clubs and parties give way to solemn gatherings and messages of Christ

Even the radio stations switch to amazing grace and gospel playlists just for a while. Continue reading →

Looking at the whole creation in its entirety, and orderliness of everything, everyone will certainly know that there must be a force holding everything in shape. According to scientists, the earth is declared to be suspended in the space, as well as other planets, without anything physical holding them up. SOMETHING MORE

As I lay on my bed and closed my eyes, I could see that there is something more than this earth..
Something more than the predictable routines of human life..
Something like lying on a bed of colourful flowers
Something like listening to the chirps of birds..
Something like being lost in a cool romantic breeze..
Something like riding on snow-white horses…
Something like flying without wings..being lifted carelessly by the wind..swaying from side to side like a pendulum..
Something like laughing loudly and heartily as you blow up water bubbles into the air and splash the ocean surface..
Something like dancing in a flowing white gown…as you lift it up and turn in circles..
Something like wearing a crown and striding up and down in the skies..
Something like no more tears and no more sorrows..
Something like a careless abandonment in supreme ecstasy..
There must be something like this…
The Holy book cannot lie..
Even as I view it behind closed eyes, the reality of it hugs me tightly…
I only caught half a glimpse of it
It is Heaven…and it is soon..
It is Heaven…and it is for those that accepts JESUS

But alas, into d garland of fools we marched
And no one was found in sight.
