A CHANGED OLD MAN!!

Gradually and painfully the fearful yet critical moment had come!

Coldly staring at me was reality which seems to have collaborated with my erring identity.

I needed a direct change in d life I lived for so many years,

So as to get into a vivid range of blissful sanity.

But now, I am too old and lost in the iniquity that I lived. Continue reading

A SEPTEMBER TO REMEMBER

7411 - September

‘Tis the 9th month of the year and just like that we everyday march on to the end of the year 2013, please can someone tell me ‘How Great Is Our God’. You know biologically speaking, a child is born at the end of a normal period of nine months in the mother’s womb and since this month happens to be the ninth, I and the entire Christ-a-poet team welcome you to your month of UNLIMITED BREAKTHROUGHS. It’s a new beginning, a chance for change, a birth of hope and a period of growing opportunities. Even as summer gives way to spring and the holidays comes to an end, be diligent in your works as you can only wield what you yield. Don’t be afraid of the abstract and remain blessed in the spirit.  Believe it or not, as long as you stay connected to the ultimate source which is God most high you are sure to experience amazing things this good month of September. God the ultimate poet writes

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

Tap into this people and watch as God lifts you up higher every day. It’s a September to remember!

SHE IS YOUR SISTER

innocent-baby-girl - Copy

It burns in your throat because you think you don’t have it,
Then you spill it out in a rage.
Its not as if its true,
But you just say it anyways.

Your aim is not to lighten up the talk,
But to harm your supposed rival. Continue reading

AN UNMASKED FOE

beat
Watch out comrades! I cried in a loud shrill,
Clinching in alarm as everything came to a still
Comrades catapulted into throes of battle,
Ready to settle a score with an enemy
But alas, into d garland of fools we marched
And no one was found in sight.
Like a bad dream, day diffused into a terrific night.
Weapons clashed, glittering tears as we soared in a castle of fear.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Dear God

It’s me your once again lost son

I know you’ve saved me one too many times

But i just happen to see myself falling at the back of the line

Riding down the road of destruction again and again

I know I should praise you first

But how mighty great and awesome you are

Though true do not mean so much to me

It’s not the wonders or miracles but

It’s your love that amazes me so

It transcends human thought

Defiling the most solid of theorems

Ever enduring never changing

I disappoint you but you love me still

I left you but you never left me

I come pleading for mercy

I tried not to do it but i did

Now i know it’s only you that can help not me

I just want your mercy so I can start again

With you, relying on you

I could go on asking but

There’s a friend who needs you he’s lost

Just like me only worse

Could you please save him?

Just the way you did me

Above all Father, I request

All those who love me you bless

Those who dared to care you protect

And all those who’ll cling to the cross

Standing true to the end, you never reject.

Before I go I wanna say thanks

For listening when I needed a friend

For the comfort for never giving up on me

And for answering my prayer to every last detail

In Jesus name, Amen.

23RD YEAR IN THE JOURNEY

Woke up feeling grateful…

Something is definitely beautiful

About the first day of March

It’s my birthday!

Each one of these beautiful days

Makes me feel excited and whole,

With a tinge of sadness in my heart,

Reminding me that am getting ole…

Sometime I wonder how grannies feel

Wrinkled, weak and shaky,

Knowing that a place in the grace waits to fell
