EVERYDAYJESUS is GOD!

Okay I love comedy movies a little bit above the average person but then I am not your average guy and if the average guy knew what comedy entertainment could do for one’s life, He would agree with me so back to the topic at hand.

There is this one scene I would like to share from Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns sitcom where Mr Brown apparently had a “secret” and when he was probed as to what his secret was by his daughter, Cora and family friend, he declined but he did say

“The only thing I can tell you about this secret is, it’s a secret”

Now that is hilarious and if you don’t see the humor in that, well go see the whole series.

The point to note from all this is that the integrity of a secret lies in its nature to remain secret. Once it is out it is no more a secret. Why are we discussing this? Well I thought I should put this out to someone God is God! Seriously God is God! Jesus is God! The Holy Spirit is God! God is God! He is all you can think of and more, infinitely more.

I wonder when we sometimes try to define God from a human perspective. Rationally, it makes sense but to think that for instance you can predict God’s fathering capacities by taking stock of what a human father would or could do is an enormous misconception.

Sometimes we don’t do this consciously and yes innocently we might just be trying to drive home a point but please always remember that His ways are far above ours and His thoughts way above our thoughts so do be careful.

Study, pray, discover as much as you can about Him and He’ll reveal Himself to you bit by bit.

He remains uniquely God.

EverydayJesus’ loving-thing tips!

  1. All of us humans need love; smile to the grumpiest old pregnant pit-bull in a human body-sincerely, and he or she would smile back sincerely, even if he or she had lost the gene that codes for smiling for the past 20 centuries. Just try it!
  2. Everyone needs to be heard out especially when we all know that there is a major misunderstanding. So, make up your mind to stop making your point until you are sure that you have gotten your brother’s points in black and white!
  3. If you think that you are such an old idiot, just go get yourself some good ice cream but make sure you don’t go to bed at night without understanding where exactly you missed it because you might need the knowledge some day!
  4. If you are so angry, just shut up because you really are not that angry, trust me!
  5. But if you are having a problem getting this tips, just go and get some Jesus’ Loving-thing parcel, that would be the best point to start from in this loving-thing that we are doing.

Nevertheless, I want you to know that God is not mad at you, because it would be an injustice to you if He does. God is Just!

Thanks

P.S. if you have no idea how to pick the loving-thing parcel, just holla me at favyaura@gmail.com.

EVERYDAYJESUS says ‘you first!’

Now, this is officially a sequel to my Ruby sister’s ‘EVERYDAYJESUS is in you’!

I want to share a little ‘loving-thing’ secret that I learned very recently. You know, we are dead people, the very moment we decide to quit this loving-thing! I mean, it’s in us, right?

I have this major friend of life, and her name is Nene too!

My Nene is so good and awesome that you sure would vote her ‘the right one’ of all time. My Nene is pragmatic but ‘perfect-loving’ most of the time. She is a lot like me because she is my first lady, if you know what I mean.

We both know that we could never have it all perfectly together each and every single time but my Nene doesn’t ever want to know that. So, whenever she screws up, she would comfort herself by using very mean words for herself, she would flog herself so bad that I would feel the welts forming in my own heart. My Nene is an epitome of justice and utopia and she would never spare no one including herself some beatings when she is unable to make plans as neat as me being tucked away in my Abba Daddy’s loving-thing heart!

I mean, how does she expect herself to? Does her mind know everything at every time just like we know that her spirit may know? And if she has the ALL-KNOWING SPIRIT just like I do, is not her mind the inevitable decision making center?

My Nene is so given to perfection and her perfect justice would never spare herself, the just recompense of a slip from her own highly perfectly written codes.

My Nene is great and my Father wanted me to spill some loving-thing secret to her, so I did just that last week.

Here is what I told her:

You cannot always have everything all together every single time. You really might not be able to keep up with that although we know that you know better in your spirit to do so!

Yes, you heart knows all truths but your mind is always going to be the slow learner, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Therefore, you might find yourself in the middle of either a minor or a major mistake from time to time!

When you do, learn what you are able to at the time and trust Father to clean up your mess for you, guess what?

Cast all your care on the Lord, for you are His care (my translation actually)

Nevertheless, you may want to know that people who flog themselves too much would not spare anyone who makes a mistake similar or a huger one, because they just are not able to!

But why?

‘Love your neighbor as yourself” my Jesus would say

For if you cannot forgive yourself while showing yourself a little kindness whenever you think that you have failed yourself, then you might never be able to spare anyone else, ever!

You cannot give what you do not have.

So what should you have?

Love!

Receive Abba Daddy’s love for yourself, and have it for yourself every single time especially when you are wrong. Then, you would be able to give someone effortlessly, some doses of it when they are wrong too because you have more than enough.

And you have enough because you understand how wrong we can all be and how right our Father would always be for us, shekena!

EVERYDAYJESUS is in you!

IT’S IN YOU

About Sometime last year, after I had learned that it is ignorance and injustice to describe love as a feeling, I started to pray for the grace to love!

Now, I had read the love chapter i.e. the first epistle written to the Corinthians chapter 13 and I saw that the terms of love as stated in that chapter placed an exerting demand on the tendons and muscles of the natural man and he is grossly incapable of executing love’s contract…discipline and training notwithstanding.

Sadly, it seemed as though my prayers were hijacked by the ‘prince of Nsukka’ as I continued to exhibit gestures that mocked love and of course, selfishness laced most of my actions. I really wanted to love selflessly but the more I tried, the more my natural tendons snapped. In fact, it seemed more natural to behave in ways that contradicted everything stated in 1 Corinthians 13.

These were way before I got a better understanding of the love God has for me.

Part of my hindrances to effectively engaging in the love walk was ignorance of the depth of Love God has for me. I worked so hard to deserve God’s love and it took everything from me so I hadn’t any charity to give to people around.

So you know, anyone who has not caught a glimpse of God’s love cannot effectively walk the love walk. It is strange to the natural man. His substrate doesn’t have an active site for the love enzyme and so binding is impossible.

My love walk got better after I got the revelation of God’s love and it is easier to give love when you are loved and without conditions too!

I found out also that I was praying for what I am and what I have already…such stupidity. One day, the Holy Spirit engaged me in a nature awareness conversation and it went thus:

Holyspirit: Elo Bae, do you know you are a child of God and you have his nature in you?

Me: yes I do (I didn’t waste time to answer; I’m a son of God forever durrrrrh!)

Holyspirit: Do you know that God is Love?

Me: of course I do, 1 john 4:8 says that.

Holyspirit: God lives in you, yeah?

Me: Sure, he dwells in my spirit and I am sealed with Him forever.

Holyspirit: By these deductions, do you know that you have the nature of love and love dwells in your spirit and you are sealed with love forever?

Me: Phew! That there, is something!

The ability to love is inherent in me and I am woven with it. It’s my nature. I have the grace to love…all I need do is to give myself into that grace.

Wondering why as a son of God, you are having a hard time loving? A few factors might be responsible. It might be Ignorance of God’s love. In my case, I was ignorant of the magnitude of the love of God; I hadn’t let myself receive it so I practically had nothing to give.

Then again, it might be a case of not beholding…Take a look at 2 Corinthians 3:18

18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit. (Amplified bible). One of the principles of the New Testament is that as we behold, we become. Now like earlier said you have the nature of Love already so you don’t get more of it…Love is a person and he lives inside us and is us. As we behold the word of God, we get more understanding of who we are and our minds are constantly transformed into his very own image. The problem is not with our spirit, it is already perfect. The thing is; our mind need to be aligned with the realities of who we are and what we have so we can effectively walk the love walk.

Lastly, it might be sheer disobedience. The grace to love abounds, some of us just do not give into it by disobedience.

As the Peak Milk commercial would say at the end of their advert; IT’S IN YOU! LOVE LIVES IN YOU FOREVER! Quit praying for the grace to love…give yourself to it.

“… That He would grant you, according to the riches of His gory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God…”- Ephesians 3: 16-19(KJV).

EVERYDAYJESUS and my favorite word!

I love a lot of things with my whole being. In fact, I sometimes think I love them more than Christ! I know you would be birling on the sea of doubt of the authenticity of my ‘born-againness’ right now, of course I couldn’t care less as long as am saying the truth which is the only tool for my ‘emancipation’ from all ‘bondage’!

So, here’s my lead-in:

I am the body with the effulgent guy with the sobriquet, ‘Symolean Mikado Goodest’. Although I am an abecedarian at locutions, some fellas still aver that I am ‘megaloquent’, ‘logophile’, polymath and of course a huge Philomath and would run miles and miles away from my knitting crafts with the claim that I am enigmatic.

Okay, enough of all this stupid rambling. I love words! I love knowledge! I can go any length to increase the number of lexicons in my active vocabulary same goes for what I know. I wouldn’t mind jeopardizing a thing just to learn anything that catches my fancy because knowledge makes me feel like the small rudder the mighty ship just can’t do without. Words make me feel like the Mikado of the whole wide world. They make me feel so powerful and invincible! Knowledge gets me so intoxicated and most times, they make me think that I could see into other realms. They make me feel so complete that nothing else would matter to me the way they do.

But sometimes, these words I manipulate in different manners to get varying effects on my spheres turn to a cup of poison that I drink without knowing. They remove the prop with which they suspend me on the ‘most-high-state’ and my sacral vertebrae suffers the pain.

For your information, the word I was talking about is literally word, the tool of communication that unlocks the mysteries of our heart.

Nevertheless, Jesus has become to me every day, the WORD, and for all time! He is everything said and unsaid! He is the Wisdom of God, He is the spoken Word that could the big bang, in case you are a big fan of the theory! He is the Knowledge that both quenches my spirits curiosity, yet He still knows how to make me want some more!

He is Jesus!

EVERYDAYJESUS loves to father me!

I AM A SON OF GOD!

My head swelled with a humbling pride at the realization that I am a son of God…forever. I always sail to cloud 9 each time I ponder on this reality. Oh! How the natural man will have a hard time understanding this, he may even think of me as pitifully ambitious but my bible tells me that it has always been God’s plans according to Ephesians 1:5 to adopt me into his beautiful family through what Christ did on the cross and this, this is not to fulfill any obligation, he didn’t owe me any…He just loved to father me…and it brings him pleasure when I acknowledge him as my father!

I am a son of God forever! Please save the correction Love, there is no gender differentiation. It is just an enviable position I occupy. Thank Jesus it has nothing to do with gender as it would have come with gender attached roles and limitations; like the girls will do the easier tasks such as speak in tongues, interpret, discern and show love while the boys will perform the herculean task such as casting out devils, exercising the mountain moving faith, raise the dead and so on. Thank God there are no two categories, I am a Son!

Oh how ignorant I have been of this reality! Without clear understanding I have religiously and shrilly answered ‘yeeeessssss’ to the chant: “sons and daughters of the living God!” Thank God I understand better now and it gets clearer every day.

1 John 3:1-2 states that we are sons of God as a result of the manner of Love God has bestowed upon us. It is a love indecipherable that made him choose of all things to father us.

God is our Father! He is my father! I can’t keep shut! Glory!

I can associate with the fact that most people derive some sort of recognition by saying who their father is, right? So don’t be surprised when next time we meet and I say “Good morning Love, God is my father!” It works right when you keep affirming this to yourself as often as possible. It will go right into the strong holds of your mind and pull down all of them inferiority laced thoughts that battles to exalt itself above the knowledge of the Father in your mind. The realization of this truth will save you the stress of many psychological quick fixes that are just so short-lived!

…trusting for more revelations.
