In the spirit and season of love, red and beauty School of Impact had an outflow of all; with its red carpet graced by the beautifully dressed and excited team members, smiling faces of attendees taking photos before being ushered into a yet more relaxing and lovable ambience.

The hall was filled up in no time with excited and expectant attendees preparing themselves to receive divine counseling on relationships and
marriages. It commenced with a worship session to celebrate the greatest lover of all time, with prayers and prophetic declarations as Pastor Segun walked

Pastor Segun started the session by drawing to our notice the prevalence of
abandoned visions and dreams all around us. He made us to understand that what makes a vision, dream or project manifest
itself fully and never stop advancing is not how great or novel the idea is; its not how strategic your blueprint is, neither is it about how qualified you are.

Beyond all of these, is something that sets you apart from all the others. That thing is the God Factor. He stated that there is no ambition that cannot fail. Psalm 34:10 proves that; even the young lion which is at the peak of its strength and is unbeatable, can suffer hunger.

The Teaching session began with Pastor Segun stating that man’s natural desire to procastinate because the environment doesn’t resemble or seem connected to his goal in any way makes sense, but it doesn’t ‘make spirit’.

He took us to Hebrews 11:3 where it says; we have been made to understand
that it was through faith on the word from God’s mouth was the world
framed. That the things we see now were not made from the things which earlier
appeared.

Pastor Segun began the message on Originality with the scripture Luke 2:21-33, explaining that there is someone you are that you don’t know and that people around you don’t know. The God that put you in the womb knows you better than the mother that carried you in the womb.

The problem is, as humans begin to grow, we are constantly under the influence of those who never knew us; so our lives are being lived daily under the influence of
those who are unaware of what we really are. There is someone
you are that even the people closest to you don’t have an idea of, but unfortunately, we are most influenced by those closest to us;

Pastor Segun started by giving a brief illustration of what love is, and the true definition of love. EXCERPTS OF THE TEACHING: THE ZOE, INFLUENCE CONVENTION 2014 AT SCHOOL OF IMPACT, 28TH SEPTEMBER 2014.

The message commenced with Pst. Segun explaining that there are three (3) basic words in the Greek used to describe life:

Bios – used to describe man’s physical activities and processes (Lk. 8:14).

Psuche – used to describe man’s psyche (psychological make-up) (Mk. 14:34).

Zoe – The description of a class of life. The word Zoe is not a Christian word, but soon adopted in Christians to explain a class of style. (James 4:13-14).

(Luke 16:24&25) Anytime you use Zoe, you are referring to a life where you receive good things. In Zoe are good things. Zoe is used to refer to a class of life that is beyond the common biological level. (John. 10:10). Zoe therefore, is used to describe a noble life, an excellent difference.
