The fast growing decadence in the society today has necessitated the need to awaken all believers to their duty and call. To jolt them from sleep and bring them to the realisation of what is left to be done in the preparation for Christ’s second coming. It is in view of this that we would like to look at how God intends for us to carry out this great task in question, the great commission so to say. We are trusting God to help us understand this in the light of Rom 8:19 “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. (KJV)
Manifestation as far as heaven is concerned, is showing forth the glory of God through the many talents he has given us. When God created man in His own image, He gave man the ability to manifest. This means that every man has the inherent ability to manifest whether he is a son or not. So therefore, a born again son of God cannot be said to be manifesting if he or she is simply doing things anybody else can do. There is more required of him or her. We only manifest as sons when we do those things that others are unable to do. As long as Pharaoh and his magicians could turn their sticks into snakes as Moses did, they continued to harden their hearts. They only had a change of mind when he did that they could not do. A true manifestation of a son goes beyond the ordinary. In our various fields, we only begin to manifest when we do that which ordinary people can’t do.
When the bible talks about “earnest expectation”, it connotes a personal decision to wait and see. This means we are in a time when the whole of creation has made a decision to wait and see the manifestation of the sons of God. If what we have to show the world as evidence for our manifestation is what it already has, then in vain would it have waited. What it least expects to see, is what it already has. The whole of creation will be frustrated if we as Christians don’t justify its reason for waiting. If what the sons of God are manifesting is what any man in the world can do, then any man can claim to be a son of God. True manifestation only comes as a result of being a true son of God. We shall try to understand who a son of God is, by looking at four categories of people who indeed are not sons. It is our prayer that you do not fall among these groups.
Those struggling to be sons but are not: In Acts 7, we read about Saul. He claimed to be working for God and could be said to be in ministry. But when he met with Jesus, he discovered he was only persecuting Christ. He was doing a common thing; anybody could persecute.
Those pretending to be sons but are not: In Acts 19, we read about the seven sons of Sceva. They desired true manifestation but did not desire to be sons. So they went about pretending. The scriptures refer to such as vagabonds. People in this category associate with true sons of God and are even regarded by men as sons whereas heaven regards them as strange children. True manifestation is not by connection to sons of God. It comes as a result of being a true son.
Those who are genuinely supposed to be sons but are not: This group of people like Esau (Gen. 25) are supposed to be sons but do not want to pay the price. They settle temporary issues with permanent ones. How could one be so hungry in his father’s house and found nothing else to sell other than his birth right? People in this category prefer to work for God than walk with Him. They are within the presence of God without the very presence in them.
Those sons who have compromised: In this category we find sons like Samson (Jug. 14&16) who have compromised. They allow the things of the world to swallow their passion for God. They are lukewarm and prefer to sit at the fence.
Those in the categories above can never manifest as long as heaven is concerned. They might struggle, pretend but only succeed in fooling men and as the bible says, at the right time, “…… they reap what they sow.” (Gal. 6:7). It is therefore mandatory that we examine ourselves under God and ensure that we do not belong to any of the groups mentioned above.
True manifestation is God’s desire for every of His children and is marked by the following characteristics.
God is the one who speaks and not the flesh (self): True manifestation is centred on the interest of God and is only genuinely evident when God speaks. He takes the decisions. A child of God who wishes to manifest for God must wait for God to do it at His own time, for His own glory.
There is no alternative for God: In a true manifestation, the finger of God is evident. Everybody knows that God is at work and working through his son. Whatever the man does is merely symbolic, God is the one at work.
It is always beyond human comprehension: When Pharaoh’s magicians could not turn dust into lice, they realised the finger of God. They witnessed the true manifestation of a son.
It draws men to God: The true manifestation of a true son will always draw men to God. It will always lead men to Jesus.
The devil does not fold his hands and watch the sons of God as they manifest. He always tries to attack and fight. It is as we overcome daily that we walk closer to our points of manifestation, from one degree of glory to the other. Some of the seemingly harmless weapons the devil uses against sons of God to hinder them from manifesting include:
Zeal: Zeal without the life of Christ is useless. Any man who works for God without the tangible life of Christ will soon be destroyed. When Uzzah became so zealous as to prevent the ark of God from falling, he ended up dying (2Sam. 6:1-6). Zeal without the true life of Christ is no true manifestation.
Lack of knowledge: The ark of God was meant to be carried only by Levites, not in a beautified cart. But David and his men lacked this knowledge and that caused them all the life of Uzzah. Thus the scriptures say “my people perish for lack of knowledge…” (Hos 4:6).
Weights: These can be dealt with through discipline. They include habits that could be ignored as though they were not sin, but have a way of weighing one down and delaying his true manifestation. Examples include eating habits and sleep. Sons who manifest are sons who have self-control over their bodies.
Lack of devotion: A son who lacks devotion is not likely to manifest even when given the opportunity. Sons who desire true manifestation must be devoted to God and the things of God. Devotion is what distinguishes men: those who merely have talent and those who have life.
Peer influence: Jehoshaphat almost lost his life when he followed Ahab to war. Amnon lost his life when he heeded the advice of Jonadab. For us to manifest as sons of God, we must come out from the crowd. We must separate ourselves from others. We must not be cajoled by the multitude.
Sin: The effect of sin on a life can never be overemphasized. A man who is living in sin can never truly manifest. Sin is the major issue that hinders a life from manifesting. When God sees sin, he turns his face away. When a man is sinful just like Judas (who betrayed Jesus), he loses all opportunity to manifest.
Having looked at what it means to manifest and who a true son is, we shall proceed to look at how to manifest truly for God. There are three steps a true born son of God should take in order to enter his manifestation. These are;
Discover purpose: All men were created for a purpose. This is the reason why we shall all give account of our lives on judgment day. (Heb. 9: 27). Manifestation is based on purpose. People who fail to discover their purpose remain spectators but those who know their God shall do exploits. Anything we try to do outside God’s purpose for our lives does not lead to true manifestation; at most it becomes a photocopy of another person’s manifestation. It lacks authenticity. There is timing in purpose. Discover your purpose in God and pursue it. Live your life as a man that will give account.
Walk in purpose: Walking in purpose means walking with God. For a man to manifest, he only needs to walk in the steps that God has created for him. God works the purpose out in the life of a true son. It is only when we abide in God and He in us, that we fulfill purpose. There is that path which He has predestined for us to walk in. (Eph. 2:10). We must remain in it.
Remain focused: For true manifestation to occur, a son must remain focused on Jesus. There shouldn’t be any wavering or faltering. No indecision, no indifference. There should be nothing between us and the Saviour. (Rom. 8: 35).
It is God’s divine intention that the whole of creation continue to groan and wait expectantly for the revealing of His glory through His sons. He already is doing this through many of His children who have availed themselves to be used of Him. Are you a true son of God and you are not yet manifesting? Do you desire to manifest for Jesus in the place where he has placed you? Examine your life under God and do away with everything that weighs you down. The level of your manifestation is dependent on the amount of devotion you give to God. Awake in your spirit and begin to manifest for God in your fullest capacity. Wherever you find yourself, count it a platform to manifest for Jesus.

SHOW ME PROOFS NOT SKILLS!!!!
Great news!
“You are the light of the world; a city that is set on the hill cannot be hidden. –Mathew 5 v 14
Alright; I can feel hands clenching into fists and faces set into determination to spark off a revolution but before we embark on this unending journey in which we struggle for positions; to put forward a question needless an answer “do you have lights”?
The era of the manifestations of the sons of God is here! Hallelluyah! Then wait a second, what is our understanding concerning these lights the bible so emphasizes as our nature? The very light is Jesus! You beg to differ?
John 1 v 4 says: In him was life and this life was the light of men.
Pardon me brethren if I drive this point in a hard way. Light just does not connote the showcase of your multi- abilities. Simply put, it is revealing the personality of Jesus.
Mathew 5 vs 16 ” Let your light so shine before men that they may see your GOOD WORKS and glorify your father in heaven.
Your good works is a proof that you are light. Please show me proofs NOT SKILLS! Now I am not condemning gifts. The problem is not the service you render with them but the attitude with which it is rendered. It is the reaction of the heart. If your entire motive is to attract the praise of man, sorry that is a great adventure in darkness.
Shinning forth as lights is being embedded in the word of God and manifesting in the power of the Holy Ghost.
It was well said by Paul in 1st Corinthians 2 vs 4 ” and my speech and my preaching were not with the persuasive words of human wisdom but in demonstration of spirit and of power.
Jesus said: The flesh profits nothing but the Spirit giveth life; the words I speak to you are spirit and they are life. The word of God is a transmittable Spirit. It is the Spirit of life and light. For the entrance of the word giveth life.
You see, the Holy Spirit activates the word and acts on it. The word shows possibilities but the power of the Holy Ghost makes it a reality. The more we labour in the word ; the more light we receive and show forth. Hear this; our redemption as lights is being redeemed in Jesus being personified in us. Jesus was so engrossed in his Father’s work. When heavenly vision is ran with selfish ambitions, it becomes an earthly fiction! Then we miss out as lights.
Conclusively we are the light of the world! so Halt! let there be no more struggle for positions and meager praises from men.
Let love and passion to run God’s work rule our heart; it is the foundation of limitless destinies.
Peace
Hmmm…
Morning all, as I write this I actually have a lot running through my mind that I don’t even know how to express it the way I truly feel. That’s why the title is quite weird I must admit.
My devotion today talked about the consequence of not striving hard enough in the Christian faith, that is serving HIM for so long and giving up when it matters most, that is at the tail end of their service or when they are about to be rewarded by GOD for their service on earth. The love of many have and are really waxing cold, several that have toiled in the vineyard have and are still missing out on Heaven and the only reason for that is ???? You answer it yourself.
Men and brethren we really, really, really have to wake up and realize this ‘cos the earlier we realize it the better. Casting crowns said in their song “Slow fade ” that “people never crumble in a day, families never crumble in a day” and I tell you our faith, believe and hope in Christ does not crumble in a day. Let us all be careful and cautious.
Also, recently I saw the obituary of a young man and it brought me back to what I talked about earlier. This young man died in an accident, but I didn’t come to tell of who died and who didn’t, rather it was more or less this young man’s rapture that took place then and
Did he plan for it?
Was he ready for it?
Did he make it?
Where is he now?
If the answer of the first three questions are yes, what of the last one? That one I definitely can’t give an answer as I don’t even know the person in question personally. What I am just trying to say is that Heaven and Hell are very real and the earlier we start preparing, the better.
For those of us that say we are Christians, what have we done or what are we doing towards bringing the rest who don’t know HIM to a realization of the truth? Remember Mark 16:15, that is a direct instruction from the master (Jesus) himself. We have a lot on our hands as the World is coming to an end and most importantly; JESUS IS COMING SOON.
PEACE!
LOVE
This four letter word has more definitions than the one’s each of us have ever heard or imagined. Its definition varies from person to person, and for that reason I want to be very cautious with my definition.
I do not know how to break it softly to you, but the truth they say is bitter…..so this is it… from my observation of my immediate environment, this word “LOVE” has done more HARM than good.
“HARM?!!!” Yes harm, it may sound surprising but that is the bitter and unfortunate truth. This is so because most of us (youths) and adults likewise have mistaken, misplaced and replaced the true meaning of this word LOVE.
1 Cor. 13:4-7 lists or enumerates the qualities of love. From this passage we are made to understand that LOVE is; PATIENT, KIND, JUST, TRUTHFUL, FAITHFUL, HOPEFUL, ENDURES, FORGIVES and permit me to add that LOVE TRUSTS.
Now we have all seen the qualities of love and are beginning to get a picture of the meaning of this word. But I must say that the qualities of this word cannot and will never be truly defined without GOD. For the Bible states it clearly that “God is love” [1 Jhn 4 :16], hence without God there is no love. John 3:16-17 tells us all that we need to know about LOVE.
What is more than that? OR do I say “What sacrifice is greater than that?” My answer, which I believe should be same with some, if not all of us, is NONE, Jhn 15:13 says it all “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” [NLT].
All the qualities of love from 1 Cor. 13:4-7 are encompassed in the story of the Son of God “JESUS” He himself is LOVE personified……want to learn how to love?, study JESUS….learn from the master, learn from LOVE.
On a final note, I will like to chip in a friend’s definition of love; he said “love is the surrendering of our priviledge and preferences”.
ARE YOU WILLING TO SURRENDER?
THE DISPENSATION OF GRACE (God’s open Test for the World)
Since the first coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, when he shed His blood for the whole word, God is no more angry with humans, nor unleashing His wrath upon the world as before. Why? He is not looking at the world directly any longer. He is now looking at the world through the blood of Jesus, who died for the whole world.
By nature, our God is holy and a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29) and He is of purer eyes that He would never behold evil, and cannot look on iniquity (Habakkuk 1:13a). Also, when anything or person connected to sin comes close to Him (God) without any intermediate propitiation, fire spontaneously proceeds from Him to consume such.
This is the reason why the Israelites suffered so much devastation and many other nations were destroyed in the Old Testament but now the story has changed. There is no more unprotected, direct contact of humans with God again but through the blood of Jesus and the person of Jesus. This is also the reason why it seems as if God’s fear is fading because there is no more instant judgement for every evil committed per se. The only people that seem to receive an almost instant judgement now are those that go to the extreme in things they do as clearly stated in Ecclesiastes 7:16-17.
Nevertheless, I tell you, now is the time to fear God the more. Though it’s as if God has gone impotent and looks like He is not even concerned about happenings around (especially in churches), yet this God is still in control. Our God is still very much active and righteous and concerned about every thing. He is only waiting for the set time in His agenda (Acts 17:30-31). It is only at the last day the world will witness the wrath and the consuming fire of God of the Bible again. (Hebrews 12:28-29)
For now, it is an open-test season for all and sundry, when whosoever does whatsoever they like, even in Church and it will appear as if there is no God but He has given us His Word in the Bible and it is with this Word He shall judge everyone at the last day. (John 12:46-50)
So brethren, be encouraged for if we dread our teachers or lecturers open test where every one has an absolute freedom to do just anything in the exam hall, how much more should God’s open test be feared and carefully approached!
Matthew 24:11-13 says,
“And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many . And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
This I say and declare today and always. My love for God shall not wax cold. What about you?
Thank you!

How to know if your church is successful
i had a question ad right here is a worthy answer
I remember my first experience at a megachurch.
It was a Saturday night, and we arrived about thirty minutes before the service was scheduled to start. We waited patiently in line with hundreds of other people. Signs covered the walls, each with the title of a previous series. The familiar aroma of freshly brewed coffee hung in the air. Security guards stood by each entrance. Staff members, most barely out of their teens, walked around in skinny jeans and over-sized caps.
Our feet throbbed from the bass thundering inside the sanctuary. It was as if we were waiting in line for a concert. I wondered if it was the same feeling cattle experience when being herded into a fenced enclosure. I believed I even vocalized some mooing sounds while we waited. All in good humor, of course.
Christians are so talented at saying “The church is people, not the building”…

What are the things that do not make you a member of the body of Christ?
What are the requirements for membership in the Lord’s church?
SEVEN BILLION BUBBLES
So we’re all caught up in our individual spaces, in our personal places, thoughts, dreams, aims, strategies, and views of life. Personal opinions about how to be, to do, and to live, what it means to strive, to overcome, and indeed, our individual answers to what the ‘good life’ means. And if we’re inspired enough, we go for it. For most of us humans, this defines the essence of the cycle of our existence. Otherwise, we’re all simply about living to ‘try to live’, that is, just keeping alive for the sake of it. This alternative is absurd, and downright depressing if we look at things this way.
You, my friend, are also in your own little space, your little BUBBLE. A world, maybe real, maybe make-believe, in which you live…as the center of your own existence. Your perception is the prevailing view, and you see the whole world through your own eyes. Normal, isn’t it?
And yes, its the most convenient way to live as a human being on planet earth.
Lets say something or someone comes in to burst your BUBBLE. Your little hallowed chamber, your way of looking at things, at people, at life. You are no longer the one who draws the lines, dictates the pace, defines objects, understands phenomena, evaluates people, or worst of all lives life as a whole. Everything you see and say and do is ordered and supervised by some external agent. Surely, you won’t take it! You would fight to maintain your space, your world, your BUBBLE. Its your life! No one has the right to tell you how to live it, what the bubble should look like, or whether it should even exist.
Even if its a bubble of fantasies, of fakes and self-gratifying but silly and even dangerously toxic matter.
Even if your bubble is a mass of mess, of hidden struggles and pain and despair. Even if the ‘intrusion’ is a loving surgeon’s incision, a friend’s concerned inquiry, or a glass of liquor spilling and splashing on your floor or God stretching out His merciful hands to help you, to heal your wounds. Even if.
If your bubble stifles and suffocates you, strangulates and snuffs the life out of your lungs and sags your spirit, maybe its time to let it be burst. And no one does the job better than the boss with the divine pin. You may loose all that ‘privacy’ but you’ll gain something priceless. You’ll gain an endless life, joyful and unfettered.
Think about all the bubbles in the world, and how easier things could be if we all were huddled and safely bouncing about in one massive bubble. God’s bubble. Which isn’t really a bubble anyway. Its boundless…love.
