Chance At Love

Once I was ayoung man ruddy and wild
I knew the Lord and loved him like a child
Yet my wit was unmatched and my zeal beyond borders
This here is a story of how a little trouble saved another

A Chance at Love by Godswill Ezeonyeka

While prayers went on, every pastor in the crowd was summoned
I joined them on stage curious to see why they where called upon
Lost within this little crowd a little boy ruddy and wild
I never would have suspected what I would find

They held hands together and prayed ever so passionately
For hearts that were not theirs to find love they could not give
Thier prayers must have been answered for soon it was bait and I was fish
My curiousity had bought me a ticket to meet with Jesus

As I watched on I desired to be like them on this stage
To do all I can so that all may have what I got on this day
I wanted the entire world to know how love found me on a stage
But here comes the usher “Young man” he says “this is not your place”

I have since journeyed far into the world with passion so strong
I have watched love fire up in the hearts of many a heralding song
But as the days run wildly by and my strength stops to be what it once was
I fear my passion bears no more fruits and my word stir no more hope

Yet as I walk home a picture of good old days gone by
I meet a man scarcely as old as I am waiting at my doorstep with a smile
Says he found love the day a young man ruddy and wild, sought Jesus on a stage
“But I never said a word”, “Your passion was enough, it showed me the way”

I have lived a life of testimonies but this will forever remind me
I am blessed to have been found by love so true and more blessed to evangelize it
But when my efforts seem to have no effect, I will yet share these words with the world
For my God will use anything and anyone to give a dying soul, a chance at love, eternal love.

The Harvest is Here!

Our vision statement as a team, in Isaiah 61:1-3 said something pretty interesting in the latter end.
“…that they may be called “oaks of righteousness”

This year God has laid it in our hearts to go out and bring in the harvest and announce that there is a harvest. God has commissioned us to do this till as many as would listen will be indeed oaks of righteousness.

We are grateful to all our sponsors and partners. Together we win!

The Harvest is Here!

The Walk Home

I already wished I never started this

I already know that I must do this

I’m already steps into the final lap

Home, my destination on this sullen track

The noise they make drowns into the silence

The pain I feel drowns into my weariness

The curse I bear charts this course to which I am bound

Home, my destination on this sullen track

My enemy sees me fall and rejoices

He thinks this end means victory for him

He can’t see my journey ends not on this tree

Home, my destination on this sullen track

Though this night lingers and this tree withers

My hope breathes fire, my purpose never wavers

Many think this a lost cause but I drew the map

Home, my destination on this sullen track

Beyond this night is a morning that forever glows

Beyond this failure is glory untold

Beyond this pain is healing, beyond this downfall is rising

Home, my destination on this sullen track

If the enemy had known better he wouldn’t bother

Like a pawn in this game he moves at the will of the Father

Making way for us kings and queens to walk the path to

Home, our destination on this sullen track

Yes He died, yes we fell flat on our back

Yes He rose again, yes we will get back on track again

Yes our journey never ends till we get

Home, our destination on this sullen track

Home is righteousness borne of the salvation Jesus brings

Home is peace everlasting the kind that passes all understanding

Home is joy and rejoicing in the victory of the risen King

Home, our destination on this sullen track

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

HELLO DECEMBER: A Christmas Poem

One look at you and I knew you would be mother’s last

For mother did not just scream her best, she screamed her last

You were as perfect as perfect could be

The stars jubilated and the chill in the air agreed

I smiled that night I held you tight and called you mine

From the first day you came so alive

We could hardly wait for when you would be twenty five

So you could remind this world again

Of the birth of the one with a name above all names

Who took away our sins and our darkness became extinct

If only we could see you as more than just another ember

If only we could appreciate you as we did your brothers

If only we could refocus our priorities; binoculars

If only we could look beyond the spectacular

Then His light would penetrate our eyes and give us sight

Happy birthday December,

The days count with little to remember

They say you live for just thirty one

And we would have to face yet another 365 equals one

I only pray we celebrate the Christ everyday as we did in your wake
