In America, Thanksgiving Dinner is a big deal in most families, because it is an annual, one time per year kind of thing. It has requirements of tradition that go back to the very early days of Colonial America. For instance, you must have roast turkey somewhere in the room. Everybody knows that when you roast a turkey, you must also have stuffing (or dressing) to go with it, and here is where things get tricky; the kind of stuffing depends quite a bit on where in America you happen to be. Other things are also required, for there must be potato dishes, sweet potato dishes, and thanks to the Campbell’s soup company, we must also have green beans. For those of us who are not parents already, imagine you got married, and you have a child. For actual parents just put your children into this ‘exercise’.
Now, everyone; How much would you be required to pay your child to love, respect or obey you? What about if they do all these things, how much would you be obligated to pay them? Would it still be called ‘Love’?

We need to stop letting greed, myopia and carnality be our motivation! [Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting. -2 CORINTHIANS 4:18]
God is not going to bless you, or ‘reward’ you for doing good things anymore than he already has (If you have the Spirit) [1CORINTHIANS 1:4-7 / EPHESIANS 1:3-7]. His promise was for eternal life [JOHN 3:15-17]. If he keeps giving you stuff just because you were polite, kind, humble, patient, or obedient (like you ought…LUKE 17:7-10) then you are not practicing love… LOVE is 1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-8… LOVE IS GOD… LOVE IS JESUS.
Please note: this message is to Christians… True Believers… Those who look to Jesus and believe he alone is their justification, their example and their Lord.
You don’t have to believe me, but in heaven, we’ll all look like Jesus [1 JOHN 3:2] to various extents…and the only rewards we’re receiving is further responsibilities in the age to come… [ REVELATION OF JOHN 20:4-6]

LORD Jesus,
I was lost {Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives.- Romans 3:23}, but your eyes went around tracking me { The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch upon the evil and the good.-Proverbs 15:3}, till you founded me in the earth.
Yet Everyday, we claim we gave our lives to you {…who has first given God anything that he might be paid back or that he could claim a recompense? – Romans 11:35}… When it was you who loved us first { We love Him, because He first loved us.-1 John 4:19}, you who gives your life to us {For out of his fullness(abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift.- John 1:16}.

I know I can’t pay you back… But I know your children. {For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.- Romans 8:14}
I will find them; even those who don’t know who they are… I will find them and avenge my joy on them.
I will help them add goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection and love. I will share everything I own with them {Acts 4:32}, pray for them, I will tell them everything, teaching them to observe everything that you have commanded me {Matthew 28:20}.
I will tell them who you really are, LORD Jesus.

In the end we all move in the direction of our true conviction.
