I am DaNiel Achi-kanu. I am a Son of God, perhaps like you. I’m also a poet, I’d like you to know about PENSPEAK 2016- A spoken word poetry event happening in the UNN this May.

PensPeak ’15 found me in audience starry eyed staring at God’s stars in the sky of our generation…

But it was early in the evening…and as the year evened out even I found myself picking up the pieces of my blown away mind…

PensPeak ’16 found me piecing pieces to Peace and please don’t simply be pleased by this piece of pieces…

Its early in the eve of the evening when its happening. Happen in tune with us…even out the event with us.

#EVERYDAYJESUS … is mine

Father, Lord, you have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me. You know my downsitting and my uprising; You understand my thought afar off. You sift and search out my path and my lying down, and You are acquainted with ALL my ways.

There is not a word in my tongue [even still unuttered], that You, Lord, do not know altogether. You have beset me and shut me in—behind and before, and You have laid Your hand upon me.

Your [infinite] knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high above me, I cannot reach it.

Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your presence?

If I ascend up into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol (the place of the dead), behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand would lead me, and Your right hand hold me.

If I say, “The darkness will cover me and the night will be [the only] light about me, even the darkness hides nothing from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You.

You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.

My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery].

Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.

How precious and weighty also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!

If I could count them, they would be more in number than the sand. When I awoke, [could I count to the end] I would still be with You.

Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

This is the covenant that you made with me: ‘I will imprint My laws upon their minds, even upon their innermost thoughts and understanding, and engrave them upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.’

Therefore, only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love follows me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days I remain a house of the Lord [and His presence]. The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit is with me and you all.

#EVERYDAYJESUS…is our final destination

One thing about the mind is that ignorance can make you see ignorant visions.

People believe in krishna, Buddha and the likes, they meditate hard enough and boom they see them. That’s the devil and his imps in control.

If you believe something strong enough, you can see it…. That’s the devil’s deception so we have to be careful and base what we believe totally on God’s word interpreted accurately. Not by assumptions or its kinds, you have to be sure.

Now I want to debunk a popular church belief that there are mansions in heaven.

See why there are flaws?
a mansion??? Do spirits need houses?

As the story goes, God is building it with materials from heaven shop abi??
And then it is by your works on earth that they get materials, that goes against the accurate teaching of the word

It means the thief on the cross would still be homeless in eternity.

I know you are now thinking, They bring this doctrine from John 14, let’s go and take a look at it closely.

The way God works…
The first person to die into God’s kingdom was a thief.
NO WORKS, NO EVANGELISM,
He doesn’t even know the bible and had never prayed a day in his life (I think)

But he believed.

You see that?? And he was qualified for the kingdom.

I said that in case you ever get so guilty or wonder if you are still a believer because of fellowship, prayers, evangelism…

Wonder no more, they don’t affect your salvation if you have believed.

They have their own separate use and that is not our study this morning; John 14 and 15 is.

Let’s see from verse one

1 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. 2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?

Some translations like KJV renders verse 2 as
‘In my Father’s house there are many MANSIONS
But what He meant was actually ROOM, in the Father’s home

But whichever one you want to use… See something all the translations agree with

2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home.

There is more than enough room, or enough mansions

Not…’There would be’……

So the disciples were not going to work and then God would start building their mountains, there are already mansions in place, his next statement contradicts the first when you look closely but that is because the mind is on physical buildings

Verse 2

2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?

There is enough room(ALREADY)…but because there is enough room, I am now going to prepare A PLACE for you.

If you think preparing the place would then mean furnishing the house, please stop it.
Don’t do it.

Let’s look at Jesus explain Himself

We would look for how there are rooms in the Father and how Jesus went to prepare a place in it for both the disciples and all of us.

We can see clearer now that our hearts and eyes are set on heavenly things.

Let’s go ahead

3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

4 And you know the way to where I am going.”

When everything is ready, He will come and take them so they would ALWAYS be where He is, and then He said they know the way

I like Thomas’ disclaimer

Verse 5
5 “No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said. “We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

See Jesus’ response
6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

Jesus said that He was the way.

Now, read the next statement carefully
No one can ‘COME TO THE FATHER’ except through the way.

Now Jesus is the way to where they are going, but the destination is THE FATHER, not 2 storey building. These are spiritual things

:D:D:D
Funny statements followed

7 If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!”

Phillip said
8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”

Look at Jesus explain
9 Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?

Jesus said if you have seen Him, you have seen the Father…
Now let’s back track a little

Jesus is both the way and the destination.:D

The next verse…..and then I jump to the conclusion

10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me.

So Jesus is in the Father, and the Father is in Him,… You know this through His words and His works…

This is how Jesus already had a room in the Father’s mansion, but He was going to make a place for us in His death….

Before that, everyone was alienated from God, and now the only way to being in God is through Jesus, He made it sure by His Spirit.

Jump to Verse 16-17
16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. 17 He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

Did you see that? You
get His Spirit to do His work, that ability is possible because He has gone to the Father to get a place and the evidence is His Sweet Spirit

I would conclude with this one verse

Verse 20

20 When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

When HE IS RAISED, they would have a mansion in His Father’s house.

Glory to God we have this
We are already in the Father’s house through Jesus, His Spirit lives in us

Stay in Grace

We win.

Now I didn’t write this, but I’m sure the poet UC Truth and The CEDARS won’t mind that you share their revelation of the truth;

Everyday, Jesus is our final destination.

#EVERYDAYJESUS….is your Wisdom

My son, if you will receive my words and treasure up my commandments within you, Making your ear attentive to skillful and godly Wisdom and inclining and directing your heart and mind to understanding [applying all your powers to the quest for it]; Yes, if you cry out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, If you seek [Wisdom] as for silver and search for skillful and godly Wisdom as for hidden treasures,

Then you will understand the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of [our omniscient] God.

Let me point your attention to one of the implications of this proposition. The conventional definition of ‘the fear of God’ is not correct. That’s why God says ‘ Then you will understand the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of [our omniscient] God.’

For the Lord gives skillful and godly Wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Now God also said, In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.

He goes on to say, And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.

He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own—His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him. But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name— Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]

They are his children that’s why he says, ‘little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.’

He hides away sound and godly Wisdom and stores it for the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with Him); He is a shield to those who walk uprightly and in integrity,

That He may guard the paths of justice; yes, He preserves the way of His saints.

Then you will understand righteousness, justice, and fair dealing [in every area and relation]; yes, you will understand every good path.

For skillful and godly Wisdom shall enter into your heart, and knowledge shall be pleasant to you. Discretion shall watch over you, understanding shall keep you;

To deliver you from the way of evil and the evil men, from men who speak perverse things and are liars, Men who forsake the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness, Who rejoice to do evil and delight in the perverseness of evil, Who are crooked in their ways, wayward and devious in their paths.

[Discretion shall watch over you, understanding shall keep you] to deliver you from the alien woman, from the outsider with her flattering words, Who forsakes the husband and guide of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God. For her house sinks down to death and her paths to the spirits [of the dead]. None who go to her return again, neither do they attain or regain the paths of life. So may you walk in the way of good men, and keep to the paths of the [consistently] righteous (the upright, in right standing with God). For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the men of integrity, blameless and complete [in God’s sight], shall remain in it; But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the treacherous shall be rooted out of it.

#EVERYDAYJESUS…reminds you

To keep writing to you [over and over] of the same things is not irksome to me, and it is [a precaution] for your safety.

Look out for those dogs [Judaizers, legalists], look out for those mischief-makers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh.

For we [Christians] are the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit and by the Spirit of God and exult and glory and pride ourselves in Jesus Christ, and put no confidence or dependence [on what we are] in the flesh and on outward privileges and physical advantages and external appearances—Though for myself I have [at least grounds] to rely on the flesh. If any other man considers that he hasor seems to have reason to rely on the flesh and his physical and outward advantages, I have still more!

Circumcised when I was eight days old, of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew [and the son] of Hebrews; as to the observance of the Law I was of [the party of] the Pharisees; As to my zeal, I was a persecutor of the church, and by the Law’s standard of righteousness (supposed justice, uprightness, and right standing with God) I was proven to be blameless and no fault was found with me. But whatever former things I had that might have been gains to me, I have come to consider as [one combined] loss for Christ’s sake.

Yes, furthermore, I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One),

And that I may [actually] be found and known as in Him, not having any [self-achieved] righteousness that can be called my own, based on my obedience to the Law’s demands (ritualistic uprightness and supposed right standing with God thus acquired), but possessing that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ (the Anointed One), the [truly] right standing with God, which comes from God by [saving] faith.

[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body]. Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own.

I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward. So let those [of us] who are spiritually mature and full-grown have this mind and hold these convictions; and if in any respect you have a different attitude of mind, God will make that clear to you also.

Only let us hold true to what we have already attained and walk and order our lives by that.

#EverydayJesus…is enough bread for eternity

Now for those of you who don’t like bread, I love bread. And in trying to explain the magnitude of his life to me; Father wrote me this:

The next day the crowd [that still remained] standing on the other side of the sea realized that there had been only one small boat there, and that Jesus had not gone into it with His disciples, but that His disciples had gone away by themselves.

But now some other boats from Tiberias had come in near the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

So the people, finding that neither Jesus nor His disciples were there, themselves got into the small boats and came to Capernaum looking for Jesus.

And when they found Him on the other side of the lake, they said to Him, Rabbi! When did You come here?

Jesus answered them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, you have been searching for Me, not because you saw the miracles and signs but because you were fed with the loaves and were filled andsatisfied.
Stop toiling and doing and producing for the food that perishes and decomposes [in the using], but strive and work and produce rather for the [lasting] food which endures [continually] unto life eternal; the Son of Man will give (furnish) you that, for God the Father has authorized and certified Him and put His seal of endorsement upon Him.

They then said, What are we to do, that we may [habitually] be working the works of God? [What are we to do to carry out what God requires?]

Jesus replied, This is the work (service) that God asks of you: that you believe in the One Whom He has sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Messenger].

Therefore they said to Him, What sign (miracle, wonderwork) will You perform then, so that we may see it and believe and rely on and adhere to You? What [supernatural] work have You [to show what You can do]?

Our forefathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as the Scripture says, He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.

Jesus then said to them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Moses did not give you the Bread from heaven [what Moses gave you was not the Bread from heaven], but it is My Father Who gives you the true heavenly Bread.

For the Bread of God is He Who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.

Then they said to Him, Lord, give us this bread always (all the time)!

Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time).

But [as] I told you, although you have seen Me, still you do not believe and trust and have faith. All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]. For I have come down from heaven not to do My own will and purpose but to do the will and purpose of Him Who sent Me.

And this is the will of Him Who sent Me, that I should not lose any of all that He has given Me, but that I should give new life and raise [them all] up at the last day.

For this is My Father’s will and His purpose, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in andcleaves to and trusts in and relies on Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day. Now the Jews murmured and found fault with and grumbled about Jesus because He said, I am [Myself] the Bread that came down from heaven.

They kept asking, Is not this Jesus, the Son of Joseph, Whose father and mother we know? How then can He say, I have come down from heaven?

So Jesus answered them, Stop grumbling and saying things against Me to one another. No one is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts and draws him and gives him the desire to come to Me, and [then] I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day.

It is written in [the book of] the Prophets, And they shall all be taught of God [have Him in person for their Teacher]. Everyone who has listened to and learned from the Father comes to Me— Which does not imply that anyone has seen the Father [not that anyone has ever seen Him] except He [Who was with the Father] Who comes from God; He [alone] has seen the Father. I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me] has (now possesses) eternal life.

I am the Bread of Life [that gives life—the Living Bread].

Your forefathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and [yet] they died.

[But] this is the Bread that comes down from heaven, so that [any]one may eat of it and never die. I [Myself] am this Living Bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever; and also the Bread that I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh (body).

Then the Jews angrily contended with one another, saying, How is He able to give us His flesh to eat?

And Jesus said to them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, you cannot have any life in you unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood [unless you appropriate His life and the saving merit of His blood]. He who feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood has (possesses now) eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day. For My flesh is true and genuine food, and My blood is true and genuine drink. He who feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood dwells continually in Me, and I [in like manner dwell continually] in him.

Just as the living Father sent Me and I live by (through, because of) the Father, even so whoever continues to feed on Me [whoever takes Me for his food and is nourished by Me] shall [in his turn] live through and because of Me.

This is the Bread that came down from heaven. It is not like the manna which our forefathers ate, and yet died; he who takes this Bread for his food shall live forever.

He said these things in a synagogue while He was teaching at Capernaum.

When His disciples heard this, many of them said, This is a hard and difficult and strange saying (an offensive and unbearable message). Who can stand to hear it? [Who can be expected to listen to such teaching?]

But Jesus, knowing within Himself that His disciples were complaining and protesting andgrumbling about it, said to them: Is this a stumbling block and an offense to you? [Does this upset and displease and shock and scandalize you?]

What then [will be your reaction] if you should see the Son of Man ascending to [the place] where He was before?

It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.

But [still] some of you fail to believe and trust and have faith. For Jesus knew from the first who did not believe and had no faith and who would betray Him and be false to Him.

And He said, This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless it is granted him [unless he is enabled to do so] by the Father.

After this, many of His disciples drew back (returned to their old associations) and no longer accompanied Him.

Jesus said to the Twelve, Will you also go away? [And do you too desire to leave Me?]

—-——-——-

In case you want to focus on the whole bread analogy… Go ahead.
But know this, there is infinitely more in here than you can unearth in one day…so eat, dig, chew…because #EverydayJesus…is enough bread for eternity

EVERDAY JESUS is the truth

Em… I don’t think I can say this too…much.

Although no prophecy of Scripture is [a matter] of any personal or private or special interpretation (loosening, solving)(2Peter1:20), Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.(2Timothy3:16)

You are that ‘man of God’!!!

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil.(Proverbs 3:5-7)

In case you think ‘evil’ is ambiguous or even overt, know this; This is the work (service) that God asks of you: that you believe in the One Whom He has sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Messenger]. (John 6:29), whatever does not originate and proceed from faith is sin [whatever is done without a conviction of its approval by God is sinful].(Romans 14:23).

So before you eat up them quotes and inspirational snacks…Ask yourself…

Would Jesus agree?
